Customer service? Not a thing apparently. I've attempted to call this place on 3 separate occasions and not one answer. I then decided to just book an appointment through their system here on Yelp. Booked my appointment with Jolene, appointment got confirmed. Until days later I see I receive an email saying my appointment got canceled! I didn't receive a call or even a text as to why my appointment got cancelled or even if I'd like to reschedule! It's not like I check my emails as often as I'd check a text message. So what if I didn't see the cancellation in time? Clearly they don't care about gaining new clientele for whatever reason. Happily made my appointment, AT EASE, at another establishment. read more

Literally received the worst haircut I've ever had in my life at the hands of Kendra. I've been sobbing about it all week. My hair came out at least 2 inches shorter than requested, there is absolutely no texture or movement, making it look like a helmet of blunt chopped hair stuck to my head. And to top it off, it was severely uneven. I stopped to get my nails done about an hour after the hair appointment that is in another hair salon. I had one of the girls look at my hair because the back looked so uneven. She advised me the right side was at least a half an inch lower than my left. Luckily she was able to even it out for me without losing any more length. I will have to go back to another salon to get this fully corrected so I can stop crying over it. Everyone who has seen my hair since the cut is absolutely shocked and disgusted. I would avoid at all costs and not let the positive reviews fool you like they did me. read more

I've gone to Jolene for the last 6 months and I have to say she's incredible! I came in with henna colored hair which was very damaged. She was very honest about what she thought might and might not work. She's helped my hair become healthier over time. She always gets me the results I want. I've never had a better hair stylist than her. She's got a great personality and it's a positive experience every time I get my hair colored and styled there. Best hair place in town with the best hair stylist I have ever met! (Joslyn Meyer). I went to her after having been butchered by several other stylists. I was scared and nervous but I needed a cut ASAP because I was going to an anniversary photoshoot and wanted to look beautiful. Not only did she put me at ease, but she worked so quickly and beautifully that before I knew it, I was looking amazing! I will never go to another stylist as long as she is around! Second update: nothing could be done bc it was too messed up. I will never be back. Don't waste someone's time offering help when you can't help them, I don't want more healing treatments I want my color not blotchy, I didn't ask for this or anything close to it. I made the appointment with the salon, and they placed me with her & now my hair is messed up for two to three months. I was told today by the owner that she's not responsible for every stylist and what they do to their clients but that's who they placed me with so they kind of are. This is the worst experience at any salon that I have ever had. So negligent! I left in tears! Update: I spoke with the owner. She seemed very understanding about what happened & wants to make things right. Hopefully we can! Don't go to Maria. I went in so hopeful and showed them a reference photo and they didn't follow it at all. My hair came out too dark, blotchy, choppy & No where near what I asked for. Don't take on a client If you're not confident you can achieve their look. All you did was damage my hair & chop it up. I would post photos (and maybe I will) but I'm too embarrassed atm. My hair is naturally a light brown color and I wanted to add some blonde (Balayage) to it. The last time I had it done (diff salon), it was barely noticeable.. like no one recognized I had it done. Sucky feeling when that happens! So, I asked Kara to make sure it was easily noticeable but not over the top! She did just that! I got compliments within minutes of leaving the salon. She worked quickly to get back to me with an available appointment and I was able to get in the same week (Not usually to be expected with talented stylists like these ladies) Taylor got me in contact with stylist, Patricia, (who I have a feeling worked outside of her usual hours to fit me in!) Patricia has a wealth of knowledge and took the time to educate me on the process, ask me for input along the way, and offer countless helpful tips about maintenance! As the name of the salon implies, color is what they do and Kendra is amazing. I am an older blonde who is experiencing the pains of aging such as gray, thinning hair. I was referred to Kendra when my regular salon could not work me in for an extended period of time, and it just happened she had a cancellation ... a two way win. As most blondes know, it's really hard to get the colors just right when weaving . Sometimes it is too ashy other times too orange or large chunks of bleach... but wow , Kendra takes the time to listen, and weave. Her skill in color excels most. My hair is woven to help cover where my hair is thinning, it will not show growth but will fade nicely, giving me that natural look I was looking for and feels great. She also gives a good hair cut. I read Jolene's reviews and looked at her pictures on both Yelp and Instagram. I booked an appointment with her through Vagaro for a color consult and a cut. She and I talked a lot and I showed her some pictures. She listened and asked me a lot of great questions. Then she let me know what we could do given the condition of my hair. Lucky me, she'd had a cancellation so she was able to do both the cut and the color. I'm not the best at selfies, so I should have had her take a picture because it turned out so very beautiful!
