Im not sure about everyone but the owners wife cannot cut hair, Im not sure where she got her training. she destroyed my hair. Like chopped my whole front of my bangs. Im in shock, speechless. No words! hair can grow back but this disaster will take so long to be fixed. Do not recommend. This was my hair before coming to this salon. I usually do my own hair and have been able to keep the integrity of my hair as I'm trying to grow it out. I came in and got my hair completely fried off. Not sure how I can do a better job than a professional but this completely devastated my hair and had to cut it all off. Went back in for the manager to look at it and while he agreed it was fried he didn't do much to help at all. I can't not leave a review in case some poor girl gets her hair burned off too! Everyone in this location is very welcoming which I appreciate specially because I have very thick and long hair and I know people sometimes don't want to work on my type of hair.I came in asking for a U shape I showed the lady a reference picture and sadly I got this instead.In the spot I couldn't see much of the back of my hair because of the chair being black so my hair blended in with it but once I got out of the location I told my husband to take a picture and I was so sad because I thought I had finally found someone that finally knew how to cut my hair but I guess I'll still be on the searchnow I need to find a someone to fix this read more

Most hairdressers will just cut/style however you ask and never bother to suggest more flattering cuts. You end up with a great haircut but it doesnt fit your face. BEST. SALON. EVER. I have been coming here for over 2 years and it's worth the drive. (I live in patterson) Honestly, I have made crazy requests, but these hard working stylists never fail to satisfy them. Wow! What a great experience- Johnson, Lucy and Maria were all warm and friendly from the moment I walked in. I had been looking to get a new cut and darker color on my tired hair. Lucky me ....I placed a project on yelp and Johnson replied advising me to give them a call in the morning. I was booked with Maria and she was so wonderful. I was offered coffee or water when I arrived and was treated with kindness the entire time. Maria was easy to talk to and had some great tips and advice for my hair care . Honestly this salon makes me ever regret coming in there to get my hair cut. My hair was so long before I went in there and I wanted to get it cut because of maintenance purposes. So I told the guy about the length I wanted it to be cut to and he went shorter and left my hair a complete mess. It was completely uneven and I asked for layers and there were none I called back and told him about it and he said to come back but I was headed to work so I couldn't make it in until a couple days later and when I got there luckily enough a lady was nice enough to fix his mistakes but I'm still left with an uneven hair cut and I can't fix it because I don't want to go shorter. If they can't do a simple cut I wouldn't trust them with anything else. I hate how my hair looks now because of this salon. read more

I had an appointment at the JC Penney hair salon. They ignored me and their haircuts are extremely overpriced. I made a last minute appointment at The Ritz and a guy cut my hair. He was really nice and I can tell he has been cutting hair for a long time because he only looked at the picture once and gave me what I wanted. My hair is pretty thin and I was so nervous going somewhere I haven't been before. They made me feel comfortable. The salon is really clean and with a modern, classy feel.
