I'm not sure where the person of these wonderful reviews went but i didn't interact with that person. Prior to booking, because when you book there is a non-refundable deposit, I emailed her to discuss some options. I later booked despite not hearing from her because I saw the open time slots disappearing. After booking still no response besides the automatic appointment confirmation via the site. I then called her and left a voicemail, still no response. I had to message her on instagram explaining I booked but would like to go over the details. There was no apology for her lack of communication, no enthusiasm to go over the details. She just said i should have put what I wanted when I booked. I asked what the setup would be and what to bring/expect but she didn't answer my questions. When it got closer to the appointment she still hadn't gone over anything just said she could do my color scheme and had two walls for the family shoot. Going by the pictures on her website I was expecting a fun person with great ideas to make my daughter's 1 year old photoshoot to life. Instead it sounded like she didn't even care so I canceled the photoshoot via the website, losing the deposit. She never even contacted me to find out why. read more

I needed to find a photographer almost last minute to shoot a cake smash session for my son. I emailed a few places, but was told that they didn't have time for me. Then I found Erin's business and she said she would be happy to squeeze us in. I will admit that I was a tiny bit nervous since we were coming from out of town. I wanted to heck her studio out in person, but that's okay. I kept changing my mind on which cake smash session I wanted, but Erin was more than accommodating on changing it for me. I also forgot to tell her what color theme it was going to be up until a couple days before. She was so nice and professional about it. We opted for the three outfit session. I was a bit nervous that my son was going to be cranky and uncooperative. He was soooooo good, Erin was wonderful with him!! Although he was wearing a couple uncomfortable outfits, she had him smiling for her. Her price is very reasonable for the amount of pictures that you get AND the quality of the picture was amazing. I honestly didn't expect to get as many as I did. Her studio is so cozy. She has a few rooms that you can take pictures in and lots of decorations. If I knew about her when I was pregnant, I would have flown out here for maternity pictures. I appreciate that Erin was able to fit us into her schedule and that she was accommodating. I do plan on having her take more picture of my son the next time I'm back in Maryland. read more

Erin did our sons newborn session when he was 5 weeks old. Even though he was a little bigger and more alert than small newborns, she was able to get amazing photos!! She was so calming. The photos are beautiful and ones that we will cherish forever!! read more

I was impressed by Erin ' s website and wanted to schedule a maternity shoot along with a newborn shoot for my son who will be born soon. I called Erin 3 times and left voice messages but she did not return my calls. I tracked her down on Facebook to ask about scheduling and she responded to some of my questions so I proceeded to make an appointment online. Her website requires that a 25 dollar holding fee is paid within one week of scheduling the appointment. I messaged Erin in Facebook several times to arrange paying this fee and she never wrote back. She also did not attempt to Contact me via phone or email. My contact information was provided when I scheduled the appointment. Due to my inability to communicate with Erin I chose to cancel my appointment and seek services elsewhere. It's a shame that she is so unresponsive because the work on her website looks great. read more

Erin did my daughter's newborn photos and did a great job. Several of my friends have been using her for their kids' pictures, and I loved her work. She was great with my brand new baby, and made us all feel totally comfortable. In addition to taking beautiful pictures, she also has a ton of wonderful backdrops, props, and outfits to choose from for your session, which is included at no extra cost. I feel this adds so much value! She is incredibly reasonably priced. We will definitely use her in the future. Highly recommend! read more

We've gone to Erin several times and really enjoy her. She is very talented, and gets things done quickly & efficiently. Erin is priced incredibly well for her talent and always gets the perfect shots. I've had to email her several times for questions or assistance on something and she's always answered in a timely fashion... so i'm not sure what the other reviews are talking about, I have never had any communication issues. She is very to the point and you get what you see with her, which in my opinion, is always wonderful. read more

Not sure why my post was considered not recommended so here it is again- Wow I'm not sure about these other reviews but I've used Erin for all of my family, maternity, newborn, holiday and birthday pictures. I had to make a yelp account to add my review. She is amazing like a baby whisperer. She has this natural patient calming personality to her that draws the kids in. Once when the baby just wasn't in the mood, she invited me back free of charge to finish the shoot. I've never seen her not smiling always 100% professional. She has always reached out to me before my appointment to see what colors I'm thinking and if she needs to do anything before. If I've ever needed her I messaged her on Facebook and she has always responded within a day. We have done pictures on locations and in her old studio. And props OMG does she have every prop imaginable. My favorite thing about using Erin, besides her unbeatable photography skills, she starts editing and has "sneaks" usually posted that night. I always get comments like-"wow this picture looks like a magazine cover" whenever they are posted. Finally her pricing has always been very low which always surprises me for the amazing service she provides. read more

I have tried multiple times to book a season. With Erin Morris photography, I tried email from the site, leaving a voicemail and Facebook to set up a voucher got from LivingSocial and I have not heard back. If I do get a session and my money is not wasted I will edit this post. read more

These other reviews with low marks must not be talking about the same person. Erin is an amazing photographer who is very skilled at what she does. When looking for a photographer while pregnant she answered all my questions and was very quick in getting back in contact with me. We decided to buy the Watch me Grow package. For the first year Erin has captured wonderful memories and glimpses into my precious babies life. We continue to use Erin for family photos, holidays, and seasonal pictures. We love Erin. She has found a special place in our family and she will certainly find one in yours! read more

My wife booked an appointment with Erin in early December for our daughters 6 month pictures. Erin called to cancel the appointment a few days prior due to an understandable reason. She promised to call back with a new time for the pictures. Well, she never called back. We left voicemail's and sent emails and it wasn't until January that we were able to reach her via email (She never returns phone calls). No effort was made to reschedule our appointment and it took some more effort to get out deposit back. We will obviously not be using her services again. I urge anyone to reconsider booking sessions here. Communication is lacking! read more

Erin did my son's newborn/family photos at our house. To being, I had trouble getting a hold of her to answer questions and schedule the actual session date. She was very pleasant in person and easy to work with, but seemed a bit rushed. She took some individual newborn photos of my son which turned out fine, but we were more looking for family pictures. The family pictures turned out horrible. She only took a total of 73 shots during the entire session. I realize that you can't get children to look at the right time, but in almost all of the family pics my husband or myself were not even looking or had our eyes closed. It was obvious that she was not checking the shots as she took them and took very few. There were shots that had major distraction, like blinds half way drawn so that they are 1/3 of the way in the shot, one curtain pulled back/one open or completely unbalanced photos. Again, I chose my house, not her studio, but I would assume a photographer would notice distracting things in shots that would ruin the entire shot. When I got the proofs, I felt like I was choosing pictures I didn't want. . I contacted her and asked if I could redo some of the family shots because there were so few (honestly only 3-4) where my husband and I were even looking. This is not even taking into consideration whether or not I liked the way we looked. I also asked to receive all of the pictures I choose in color because she had edited some to b/w. Well, I never heard from her. I received the pictures in the mail some in color some b/w and absolutely no response to question about reshooting some of the family pics. From what I have seen she seems to do good staged newborn pictures in her studio, but if you are looking for anything else I would not recommend her. Based on her customer service I would not recommend her at all. We have hired professional photographers for my older son's newborn pictures and for his 1st birthday and I have always been extremely pleased with the professionalism of the photographer and their work. I would have used the same photographer, but we were living in a different state at the time. My biggest regret is that you can never recapture a newborn and I feel like because of these photos I missed capturing it with my son :( read more

We used Erin for newborn pictures after my daughter was born. She is nice overall but seems to be very unorganized. She captured some nice photos of my baby in different poses, but seemed completely rushed after she did the individual newborn shots. I understood that it took awhile in the beginning because my daughter was being a challenge with closing her eyes, but you should be prepared for that as a newborn photographer. All the other pictures taken were not put a lot of thought into. I was so sad to only have one shot of my two daughters together and ONE of the entire family. At one point, I suggested my husband hold my newborn on his arm with her arms and legs dangling, and instead of being patient when she started to cry a bit, Erin abandoned the idea. I have a few great shots of my daughter by herself, but that's it. After the individual shots, she seemed to not care anymore. It truly saddens me that there were hardly any pictures of my children together, my husband and baby, and us as a whole family. I would recommend finding someone who's not just interested in the posed newborn shots. She's also hard to contact and communicate with prior to the session. I'll be going elsewhere next time. read more
