My mom has been going to the salon for over 4 years and she sees McKenna everytime. We are always satisfied with how our nails look when we leave the salon. I would highly recommend DiDi and McKenna as your choices for a nail tech. One of the other things I love about the salon is the vibe. They will ask if you want something to drink, they help you sit in you chair, they have a hook for your purse. And during holidays they decorate and its the cutest.

Based on that, I expected a premium service and a company willing to stand behind its work. Unfortunately, my experience was the opposite. I invested approximately $1,400 in Great Lengths hair extensions and services & products for my only son's wedding in Alaska. The salon knew this was a once-in-a-lifetime event and that I would be leaving shortly after my appointments. My initial installation by Gabriellia was unsuccessful, so I was scheduled with their Global Elite Stylist, Traci, for my first corrective reinstall. The salon repeatedly emphasized that Traci had over 40 years of experience. During that appointment, Traci removed my extensions using Great Lengths bond remover and then installed approximately three new packs of extensions without first washing or clarifying my hair. Before I left, she instructed me not to wash my hair for 48 hours, leaving the bond remover on my hair, scalp, and newly installed extensions. I left believing everything had been corrected. I even emailed the salon thanking them for resolving the first installation issues and complimented Traci on what I believed was a job well done. Little did I know that by the following morning my extensions would begin failing. Within 48 hours, I had virtually no extensions remaining on one side of my head and developed contact dermatitis after the bond remover remained on my scalp. I immediately contacted the salon and explained that I had followed every instruction, including not washing my hair and using my boar bristle brush. The salon scheduled me with Pierce for a second corrective reinstall. I again expressed my concern that the bond remover had never been washed or clarified before new extensions were installed. Instead, I was told that wasn't the cause and was asked what shampoo I used. I explained my hair had never been washed since Traci's appointment, so shampoo could not have caused the immediate failure. During that visit, the manager called Traci at home to ask what products she recommended, and based on that conversation I purchased the Caviar shampoo and conditioner they instructed me to use. Pierce replaced only the bundle that had completely fallen out. The extensions continued falling out. While traveling to Alaska, a flight attendant handed me two extensions that had fallen onto the airplane floor. By the time I landed, about ten more had slipped out. By my son's wedding, I had no extensions remaining on one side of my head, and they continued falling out throughout the wedding. By the time I returned home, fewer than ten extensions remained. The most heartbreaking part is that these memories cannot be recreated. I will forever have photographs from my only son's wedding showing my hair falling apart during one of the most important days of my life. After returning home, I continued emailing the salon and sent photographs showing well over 100 extensions had fallen out. When I requested a refund, I was told the only solution was another reinstall. I repeatedly asked what would be done differently but never received an answer. Instead, I was expected to trust the same Global Elite Stylist again. I also repeatedly requested a complete itemized accounting of the charges made to my gift cards. Despite multiple requests, I never received a complete accounting and was eventually told the salon would no longer respond to emails asking the same questions. Wanting answers, I contacted Great Lengths USA directly and recorded the conversation. I explained exactly how my first corrective reinstall had been performed. Based on the information I provided, I was told that leaving Great Lengths bond remover in the hair without washing and clarifying it before reinstalling new extensions is what caused my extensions to fail. I was also told the hair must be "squeaky clean" before new extensions are installed so the keratin bonds can properly adhere. Great Lengths extensions are advertised to last up to five months. Mine lasted approximately 10 days. Timeline * April 24 - Consultation with Gabriellia * May 8 - Initial installation * May 14 - First corrective reinstall with Traci * May 18 - Second corrective reinstall with Pierce * May 20 - Left for Alaska * June 6 - Fewer than 10 extensions remained This review reflects my personal experience and is supported by emails, photographs, receipts, and a recorded conversation with Great Lengths USA. Upon request.

The woman behind the counter said that it would be a 40 min wait. I could tell by the tone in her voice that she was hoping we would leave. I told her, "It is what it is" and we sat down to wait. My initial thought was perhaps she did not have children. There are only 3 chairs in the waiting area, I am assuming because of covid. All of us had on masks. But kids will be kids and walk around. I was actively parenting and constantly instructing my children to behave and not touch things as we waited. Then a man stylist came up to my children and started instructing them to sit down. I said, "Excuse me" nicely, in an attempt to get his attention which he ignored and continued speaking. When he finally stopped talking to my children. I explained that we had felt unwanted since we walked in. I explained that there were only 3 chairs, and I would not have my children sit on the floor. I also explained that he should not be speaking to my children without my permission but speak to me first. I have visited this salon before and we have never encountered these 2 stylists. I told them that this was very poor service and took my children to the car. I returned a few moments later and ask for their names which they both refused to give me. The man asked if he could finish with the client he was with which I obliged and waited and once he was finished with his client he went about cleaning his station and ignoring me on purpose. If they had nothing to hide they would've given me their names. I finally gave up and left the establishment. Super disappointed in the behavior of grown adults. We were happy to wait in order to get two haircuts, even with the woman's initial rude tone. After that first sentence I thought about leaving a review or maybe a slightly lesser tip. But after the resulting incident, I knew I had to say something. I have never experienced discrimination because I had children until today. After reading some of the other reviews here, I can see why they have so few stars. And I'm kind of glad that my children did not have their haircuts here as it seems they probably would have been petty and taken it out on my children's hair. We will not be returning.

She ended up posting the video to her I.G which is disrespectful and disloyal to do. I paid $135 for my hair and $50 to another girl for my waxing. Hair came out mediocre. Overall, I would not recommend her. Not to mention she took over 4 hours to complete my hair. While other stylist had people in and out.
