I received an Ulta gift card for Christmas specifically for getting an eye brow wax. I had never…read morehad one before and felt it was something that every girl should do at least once. I had intended to make an appointment and come back at a later date but the girl said she could fit me in as soon as she was done with her current client, so I stuck around. My brows are fairly sparse and I was looking to add a bit more arch to them and get a recommendation on make up to use for them. The girl who did the brow wax was very nice and talked me through everything she was doing. She used a new wooden stick for each dip into the wax so it was sanitary. It really didn't hurt much. I had watched a few videos beforehand so I kind of new what to expect. After the waxing, my brows seemed so thin and small but that's not her fault. I just don't have much for brows to begin with. She used a little make up on them (Benefit, of course) and they looked fine. She gave me a slip to take up to the front counter to pay and I was able to leave her a tip on my card. Overall, the experience was great, but I probably won't do it again just because my brows don't really need it. I can get by with just plucking them at home.

I took her suggestion and color as well and later that evening when I put the color on my hair it looked almost perfect. I understood where she was coming from, she did not want to recommend something and it not be good for me or my hair then she would feel responsible however she took a chance, and I told her it would not fall on her.
