Discussed in detail what I absolutely didn't want.Ever. We agreed. Ashley made certain what I wanted. Demonstrated with my hair. Assured enough length in back for ponytail. Instead-scalped. Very ragged half in pieces in back. Length of a fingernail. No one can mistake a half inch to 7 inches. Deliberate and incompetent. half inch scalping starts half way down in back like a man's cut. Minimum 6 mns until it can be made less ugly.Ugly isn't my opinion- its on everyone elses face. 100% did everythng she completely, clearly agreed not to. No miscommunication. She couldn't have butchered it any worse. Lower back-same length as front-lower earlobes. There is no longer in back. All lengths are uneven. thicker. Overall only half in to 3 in. I thought it was gonna be a wait because there were quite a few ladies there. They rotated us and were super quick in the whole process. The woman scrubbed my head extremely hard lol. I went mainly for a new style and some help with my bangs. I had gotten my bangs cut by a different stylist at another salon and they weren't what I asked for, so I wanted some help from the salon I thought I could trust. First, when I got my hair washed I was expecting the full service, like a hair mask and hand massage, but for some reason I didn't get that. Second, I asked for a shag cut with lots of layers in the back and my baby bangs to be fixed and styled differently. What I got was uneven bangs and long layers. My stylist didn't know how to help me fix my bangs and repeatedly tried to style them, but I still left with my bangs sticking up and super choppy like my 4 year old sister cut my bangs. Instead of experimenting on my hair, I would've been much happier if my stylist told me she can't achieve the style I wanted. After, I was embarrassed so I just paid and left hiding my bangs. When I got home sobbing, my mom called the salon asking if I could get my service refunded. They called back saying that I could only get $20 back. They also mentioned that I was the one that came in with uneven bangs. We are very disappointed with how this salon manages these complaints because we at least expected them to offer to fix what was done to my bangs. I came to get my hair cut to boost my confidence, but I left feeling even worse than I did before. Me and my family will not be returning to this salon. One of the women in my BookClub had an excellent hair style and I asked her to share her Stylist--Serendipity. I checked Yelp for directions and hours and was shocked at amount and similarity complaints of the negative reviews. Lots of these places that rent the chairs refuse to deal with the occasional poor workmanship which is why I don't go to them any more. It amazes me that there wasn't even one response from the Owner or a Stylist. Have to assume they just arrogant don't care very much about their public relations.
