My husband and I were very lucky to book time with Erin for a maternity photo shoot we had late into my first pregnancy. I was very skeptical of having photos taken of myself (who wants to see yourself that HUGE) but I am SO SO glad I did. I was also unsure about the photo session because I am really shy in front of cameras, and I had no idea what I liked or what I wanted. I knew I wanted photos, but I didn't know how to ask for what I couldn't visualize for myself. My impressions of Erin's work were 5 stars right away. First, Erin called me about a week before the shoot and asked me a ton of questions about what style I liked, what shots I would like to get or any goals I had for the shoot. She also asked me what I didn't like, which I thought was great, because it seemed that I knew more about what I didn't want and that helped her plan for the shoot. She called me again 3 days before the shoot and walked me through her vision for the day. She made recommendations for locations (she had driven around and scouted them out beforehand!) and some creative ideas around what we could do the day of. She was so organized and hands on with the planning that it made me feel 100% taken care of. I wasn't worried about planning because she had it all down. She even recommended some color options for what I would wear. I literally had to do nothing but show up, she had everything covered! The shoot itself was a blast. Erin is a very talented and professional photographer but she also has an amazing sense of humor. She kept things light and had us cracking up most of the time. It made things so easy. By 30 minutes into it, she had made us feel so relaxed and comfortable that we were finally getting into it and able to capture some great moments. After the shoot, she sent us a "teaser" pic a day or two later and made us really excited about seeing the rest. About 2 weeks later we had this beautiful package delivered including a disc with our photos and a lovely note from Erin. It was perfect! I can't say enough good things about this gal. We plan to get photos of our son and will continue to use her services to capture special moments in his life as the little man grows up. read more

Erin most recently photographed our infant daughter's baptism, and I was amazed at the moments she captured, even some I hadn't noticed myself at the time. The ceremony itself was so fast paced but I knew we could trust her to get what we needed, be discreet, and be good company, all at the same time. She more than delivered, she wowed us. Erin additionally did our maternity photos when we were expecting my daughter, and kept my due date in mind so she could do the newborn photos as well. I contacted Erin a couple months before turning the big 3-0 to talk about doing a photo shoot to celebrate the momentous birthday and milestone in my life, and I'm so glad I did. I know that Erin does all kinds of photography - children, newborns, families, engagements, but I also know that portraiture is her passion, so I felt like I was going to be in good hands. I had so much fun during my photo shoot, and from the beginning of the shoot, to the presentation of the photos a few weeks later, I can't be more pleased with Erin's professionalism and product. I'm an avid hiker and love Fall, and since my birthday lands in late September, I really wanted to honor those things by doing a photography session outside on a beautiful trail where I hoped to get some fall color, and Erin was more than happy to drive out and accommodate me. It was a chilly morning on the Ice House Canyon trail, and Erin came super prepared, with lap blanket, snacks, water bottles and a mobile make-up and hair studio. She was organized with her beauty products, and did a beautiful job with my makeup and hair, in that I felt like I was getting ready for something special, but still looked like myself. It was fun to see Erin take shots from different angles, and she's not afraid to get on the ground, scramble rocks and get a bit dirty - she's game in the search for the right shot! She got some photos that were standard to editorial and took them from angles I wasn't sure would look great, but they came out! I was impressed the most with how prepared she came to the shoot - she'd sketched out poses she wanted me in and had already scoped out the trail ahead of time, so she knew which locations she wanted to photos in. After a few hours of playing, and a few weeks of eagerly anticipating my photos, I finally got to see them. And. Wow! They are so beautiful and unique and I now have 9 photos that are stunning and of which I'm so proud! I wish I could give Erin more than just 5 stars...Erin is simply the BEST!!! The first time I used Erin was during me engagement shoot with my now husband. Not a day goes by where I don't look at those pictures (they are all around my living room, haha). We had the pleasure of having her take our family picture this year. Before our photo session, she took the time to come meet with our family and get ideas going with what we can do with the little girls. We really liked the idea of having our own props to make it more personal. She also scouted out a location based on what we like as a family. The location was gorgeous and perfect.
