Within minutes of uploading these pic's to my facebook account (just for the heck of it) I was getting over a dozen comments from people saying everything from "Wow... You're Not At All Ugly" to "Wow... You Look Hot!" Of course my intention of hiring a professional photographer of Cielo's caliber wasn't just to have some "cool facebook pic's", but to have some very professional photo's that I could use on my website and for other promotional purposes. I want her to be my friend, my sister, and sometimes even my mom. She is truly that special and caring. Kathy made our wedding day beyond amazing! I was lucky enough to be a bridesmaid in a wedding that Kathy shot last summer. I was able to see her work for 8+ hours that day and knew I really liked her at that point. Once I saw the gallery from that wedding, I knew I HAD to have her for my wedding. During our initial meeting with her, my husband knew exactly why I wanted her to shoot our wedding. Her passion and talent are unmatched! When she arrived on our big day, she immediately lit up the room and everyone could feel her energy. Her assistant Gabby and she got to work immediately taking detail photos, dress photos, getting ready photos. The images were breathtaking; she was able to capture the spirit of my friend - elegance and fierceness all at the same time, and had the foresight to do it against the backdrop of this exquisite abandoned warehouse in downtown LA. Fast forward to more recent times where she's shot my best friend's wedding, and, we've had the privilege of having her shoot for us as a family. I share all this because I've been so fortunate to see and also experience the artistic range of Kathy's work. She is so versatile. I think one of the things so powerful about her work is how she's able to capture what/who she captures in such a way that honors their essence and at the same time, makes you feel as though you're seeing them anew.
