**Absolutely terrible!** This was the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. From the moment I walked in, they didn't even bother to greet me--not a word, not a glance, nothing. After waiting for what felt like forever, I asked about the appointment I had made, only to be told they'd "fit me in." That was a complete **lie**--I waited much longer than they said, and when I finally asked again, they rudely told me I should **go somewhere else**! Unbelievable! And it wasn't just me--two other people walked in after me, and they didn't bother to greet them either! The staff is beyond rude and completely unprofessional. No one deserves to be treated like this. If you care at all about basic respect and customer service, **do NOT** waste your time or money at this place. Stay far away! read more

I called and made an appointment the same day. They were super nice. I had to wait a little bit but I wasn't in a hurry and they set up a seat for me. They did a great job on my fingernails. I got French gel nails and it cost $45 which isn't bad to me price wise at all. I will absolutely go back here to have my nails done again. It's not a fancy salon but it's quaint. read more

I went to this place to wax my eyebrows and she burned my eyelids with the wax, and I say my eyelids because she applied wax up to this area. I don't know why she put wax on my eyelids... Adding that one eyebrow was thinner than the other. I don't recommend this place for waxing. I have been going to Billy & Lin for about 14 years. Their service is great. Yeah, sometimes I have to wait beyond my appt. time, but it's worth it. I work my hands and nails very hard, and wash my hands about a dozen times a day. I only get fills done every 3 weeks and I have NEVER had a nail lift, had any infection and the color holds tight! Lin can do the best freehand designs, just beautiful. I will never go anyplace else as long as they're in Cloverdale!! read more

I went there yesterday afternoon for a pedicure. Paid extra for having calluses removed. The person did some of it quickly. I had to finish doing it at home as the heels looked terrible. I walked in late on a Thursday afternoon they advise it be 20 min wait so I did a few errands at surrounding shops came back in and was seated right away. I want to support local businesses, which is why I keep giving E's chance after chance. But I've had enough. Not only are they unprofessional in how they interact with their customers, they also do terrible nails! I went in for an acrylic set - two of my nails were totally crooked, so Billy ripped them off and tried again, rolling his eyes and muttering under his breath. After filing, some were round, some square, and some "coffin", which is the shape I had asked for. I held them up, showing how none matched. He rolled his eyes again, filed two and said "they're fine." He was so annoyed that he had another woman paint them for me. This is NOT the first time I have had this kind of experience at E's Nails. They are always in too much of a hurry to put the time in to do a decent job, and when you are unhappy, they don't seem to really care. Last time I checked, I am paying for a service. I except the experience to be pleasant, and to like my nails at the end of it. I shouldn't have to go home to reshape and paint my own nails, after handing over $40. Go to French Nails in Healdsburg, it's worth the gas. read more

If I could give less I would. They told me to come in at 6pm for a nail removal (typically takes about 10 minutes) and I sat in there waiting for 45 minutes before I decided to leave. Such bad service. They sat me down on their seat and no one approached me for 20 minutes. Finally a lady comes over and clips my nails only to leave me sitting there for another 20 minutes as they worked on new clients. Bad bad service. Bad nail place. Do not recommend. read more

I have been coming to E's for pedicures for the last two years and have always had a good experience. It is clean and the staff is very friendly. The pedicure chairs are comfortable and it's a nice chance to relax for a bit and enjoy a massage. I've gotten the occasional basic manicure as well and I've been very happy with the results. I'm so glad to have such a nice nail salon to escape to for some "me" time here in town. read more

Just moved to town, got a decent but wayyyyy over priced gel manicure. Went back a week later for pedicure. A regular pedi is $25 and a gel is $50! I don't mind paying extra for a gel mani or pedi but not double! This salon only takes walk ins. I get there and there are 4 people getting pedicures. They tell me it'll be 10 minutes until my daughter and I can get our pedicures. I say find and pick out our polish. In walks a lady saying "I just called for my daughter and I to get pedicures". The staff says okay. Out walks another staff member. She asks if she can help me. I state we are waiting for pedicures and she says 20 minutes, is that okay? I said I'm not sure, do you allow people to call in and make appointments. The lady says no. This place was not good at all. We made an appointment at 1:00. When we came in we had to wait 15 minutes. This is not a long time but it is the same thing they say to everyone coming in the door. So we did not have an appointment. I had gel polish on my toes. It took her less time to take it off then the normal polish my mom had on but it still cost me an extra $5. I live in town and had been going to Es when I got my nails done. I hadn't gone in about a year but went a week before my wedding to get a acrylic set and pedicure. The set was good but Billy does burn you and files your nails way too much. My pedicure however was done by a younger lady who was really unprofessional. Her work was good but she was really rude. Instead of asking you to set your foot up she would tap you like a dog. Everything about her made me feel uncomfortable. I went again for a fill a couple weeks later, and nothing has changed. They are the only nail salon in town and I will not go back due to their customer service. read more

Are you kidding me.... I went in for a full set of acrylics. Simply wanted white tips and clear acrylic. I sat down with a woman who clipped my natural nails all the way down too far with nippers (nippers are meant to be used to clip hang nails) then tried to file them (ouch too short) so she said something to another employee in another language then traded places with him. He grabbed a used nail file out of the trash -yes labeled trash and tried to file my nail with it... no.... so he stopped fileing and glued my tips on crocked and then slapped on acrylic. Disgusting. I have been a customer with Billy & Lin for at least 7 years. I love the work they do, the quality products they use. I go about every 3 weeks for a fill, only 3, maybe 5 times have I ever had a nail brake. Never a lift, ever! I recommend them every time someone complements me on my nails!! read more

Not a bad place at all. They are reasonably priced, have plenty of pedi chairs for the busy spring and summer days and are pleasant people. The only negative i have is the same problem I have with almost all nail salons these days... If u know I don't understand the language please don't be rude and spend the entire time I'm in your chair speaking to your co-workers in said language. I don't know what or who your talking about.
