Never have I ever had an experience where my hair turned out so horrible. The most splotchy and blunt cut ever. They tried to insinuate that it was my doing as to why my hair turned out this way. Not that the hair dresser could have had a bad day or whatever. The girl tried to gaslight me saying "we don't cut hair like this" repeatedly. Also saying that she has cameras and watched them. So you're telling me you watched her mess up my hair because that's exactly what happened. She had me facing the window while styling my hair. I tried telling her well this is how it turned out and I'd like my refund because there's no way I spent $270 for THIS. I can't wear it in any style! The customer service was horrible. I won't even get into the highlights and the fact my hair feels fried. I wouldn't trust this place at all with my hair again. Don't be like me, look at the REVIEWS. read more

DONT GO HERE. I came here to get my hair done for prom. I sent pictures days in advanced and showed the pictures of what I wanted again when I sat in the chair. My hair looked nothing like the picture I showed, it also fell out after 15 minutes of dancing at prom. It took 30 minutes for my hair to be done, and it was $100. For context, I pay $110 to get my hair highlighted. I emailed twice with no response. Thank you la cutz for ruining my senior prom and the insane price. Very unprofessional. read more

I have been with La Cutz hair salon since they first opened and I have to say not one time have I nor any of the people that I have recommended have had any complaints they including myself are always 100% satisfied with the work done! Brenda the hair salon owner takes a lot of pride in what she does and excels in all areas of cosmetology! She has a great crew, prices cant be beat!, beautiful clean salon with top of the line products! She is a master when it comes to hair color and highlights! Brenda (salon owner) was recommended by a co-worker of my mom. I have very curly hair and she was supposed to be really good. I needed a stylist for my wedding. It was very frustrating trying to set up a trial appt because apparently there is only one hair stylist (Claudia) in the shop that does up-dos and airbrush makeup. Claudia also has a different full time job somewhere else so she only works for Brenda a couple days a week. I finally was able to go for my hair trial. I loved what Claudia did to my hair which is why I decided to go with them. However, I was expecting my hair to be much more "done" after the trial (people had recommended making dinner plans for the night to take advantage of having my hair done) but she basically just kind of did a general idea of what my hair would look like the day of my wedding and then took it out when we were finished, so that was pretty disappointing. Their prices are pretty reasonable which is why my entire bridal party ended up getting some type of service from them whether it was hair, airbrush makeup or eye makeup. However, getting out the specific prices and the cost to come to my house was like pulling teeth! Brenda is not the best at returning phone calls, texts etc. And I never had her email address. The day of the wedding my airbrush makeup and eye makeup was AMAZING! Could not be happier with that. Claudia also did everyone else's makeup and they looked beautiful as well. It lasted all day (not 24 hours like I was told though). As far as hair...she really didnt do it the way we had talked about/done in the trial. I had to instruct her a lot of how to fix it. I ended up liking it, not loving it. My MOH ended up having to basically do her own hair to show them how she wanted it, then they redid it. It was kind of nuts. I'm sure the fact that we dont speak spanish, and Claudia doesn't speak much English did not help the matters. However, my hair did not last at all. It was definitely different looking by the end of the ceremony/pictures. It still looked nice but it was definitely droopy and coming undone. At that point, I could have cared less... I was at my wedding having an amazing time. But if you are a picky bride, planning on having your hair be in perfect shape all day long...I don't recommend. I made for an appointment for Brenda to do my hair because she was referred to me by a friend. I get there and asked for Brenda. Another girl walked over, shampooed and conditioned my hair. She was very rough (my eye started twitching). It took her literally 2 minutes and sent me off to get blow dried. She used a dirty brush to detangle my hair!!! She blow dried me hair, then started to flat ironed my hair. I actually had to ask her to put heat protectant spray, she barley sprayed it and plain seemed annoyed. I have frizzy curly hair, lots of it. She didn't section my hair in small sections so my roots were still completely curly. Towards the end I realized she was flat ironing my hair with 450 degrees!!! I've never in my entire life used heat that high on my hair. So my hair was puffy, frizzy, with straight ends. None of them barely spoke to me. And Brenda didn't do my hair. When I got home I saw that my ends were fried. I'm devasted :( read more

Going down hill fast ! I have been a loyal customer of LaCutz for about 3 or 4 years now and last weekend was the worst experience I have ever had. For starters only 2 people there speak English and that doesn't bother me but I dnt like not being spoken to. Brenda, the owner asked me one question about my hair and then walked away to mix a color. The hair dresser (not Brenda) just walked right up to me and started applying dye into my hair. Never saying a single word to me the entire time which I found to be VERY RUDE! Then when my time was done, I was sent over to the shampoo girl who was so rough splashing water on my face and getting soap in my ears. When that was finished I walked back to the chair and my hair which was SUPPOSED to be dyed burgundy brown but it wasn't! It was light brown damn near blond. The shampoo girl started to comb my hair and when she was done she started pulling hair out of the brush and told me not to worry bc all of that hair WASNT mine! like using a dirty comb wasn't bad enough when I complained that my color was wrong she caught a serious attitude! I asked Brenda to come over and while I was trying to explain to Brenda it was wrong the shampoo girl kept over talking me. Brenda & the shampoo girl kept telling me over and over it was right and I was wrong and that I just need to understand it will look better when it's finished but it wasn't right and when I demanded it gets fixed BOTH Brenda and the shampoo girl (who had no business even being around) got mad and stormed away. The hair dresser who dyed my hair the first time walked over again not speaking me again and fixed my color. I then went back to the very rude and unprofessional shampoo girl to get wash and she left dye on my ears and forehead. The non-speaking hair dresser then started to dry my hair with the blow dryer, just the blow dryer, not the round brush. She dried more then half of my hair like that until I got fed up and asked her to use the round brush. At the end of the nightmare I went to check out and I was charged the full amount. Having worked in the casino industry for several years I know a thing or two about customer service and I was sort of surprised when I didn't get at lease a 5% discount. I didn't need a discount, I wasn't expecting a discount but after messing up my hair, being rude, unprofessional, using dirty brushes, and arguing back with me i thought that was the lease they could do! Needless to say LaCutz Salon won't be getting another cent from me! read more

THE WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD AT A HAIR SALON. I scheduled an appointment and my stylist, the owner Brenda, was working on at least 4 other clients while she was supposed to be doing my hair. I've heard of places being double booked but this was ridiculous- they never should have booked my appointment if they knew they would be that busy. I came in for a very expensive keratin treatment and several minutes after the timer went off they still didn't wash it out-even Brenda commented on how her assistant was taking too long.
