This lounge was immaculate! Destiny provided excellent customer service, and made our brief stay in the airport so much more pleasurable!

I love the escape lounges, this one is good. But the only complaint I have is the work load one 1 employee. She was checking in personnel, bartending, and putting fresh food on the buffet while picking plates and cups. 6 people at the bar alone and maybe 10 more in chairs. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is for her. If not it would be no stars. Employees are a strong roll in a business. read more

A great addition to GSP! Great food offerings- much better than the normal airport sky club/lounge. Today at a non-meal Hour they had particularly delicious shrimp and grits but also many other offerings other than the usual hummus and crackers. Charcuterie board, boiled peanuts, three kinds of great cookies, deviled eggs- many other items. Full service bar- lots of ports for charging and work- spotlessly clean and super nice attendants! Unexpected lounge in such a small airport but definitely grateful. This is an AMEX Platinum lounge and you can bring in 2 guests. Full bar, hot and cold food items, lots of plugs and WiFi. This is a pretty small lounge but so is the airport so don't expect some type of grandiose space, just take it for what it is - a lounge, that gets you away from sitting in the terminal read more

I just found the American Express lounge at Greenville Airport! It is hidden so I saw the word Escape and thought I would see what it is all about! Not well advertised at all! They need more signage to folks will know where it is! So I went in and encountered a Jennifer! She was wonderful and was kept busy with all! I felt bad for her as it's hard for her to attend bar and also to keep looking to seat people! She has to constantly check to see if anyone is waiting so maybe there could be a better way to signal People are waiting! She was a great host and very accommodating and helpful! My family and I had a great experience at this lounge! The food selection was great and I really enjoyed the salmon and shrimp n grits. The only room for improvement I would say for the food is that some of the food seemed to be stale/sitting out for awhile, such as the cookies. From check in to leaving the lounge, Marie was wonderful! She was extremely attentive and friendly, and greeted us immediately upon arrival. She checked on us frequently throughout our stay to see if there was anything we needed. Thank you Marie and the rest of the staff for a wonderful lounge experience!! read more

This is my 4th time to visit while waiting for my flight. I honestly don't know how it stays open. The food offered is mostly what I would call "mystery food" as it doesn't look like anything I have ever consumed. coffee is ok. It is quiet in here as I am usually only one of 3 or 4 people frequenting the Lounge. Maybe it gets busier at happy hour but right now it is very quiet at 11 am. So glad I had a coupon for free entry because I would have been very unhappy paying full price for admission. read more

This lounge is located just past Chick-fil-A going towards the B terminal. It's very clean and has a good selection of food and drinks for any meal. It's the perfect quiet location to relax while waiting on your flight. We get access through our AMEX card or you can pay per hour. read more

Traveling through smaller airports rarely affords the luxury of a lounge, so I was ecstatic to see GSP offer the Escape Lounge. This was a quiet and serene escape that offered an amazing view of the the way. They had a self-service coffee and espresso station, full service bar, sparkling and still water on tap, and a variety of lite bites and appetizers. The staff were friendly and attentive. Excellent experience at the Escape Lounge at GSP! Place just opened and they already have it figured out! Extremely friendly, welcoming, and professional team there. Very clearly have many years of experience in hospitality. The decor was perfect. I had baked salmon and pulled pork sliders. Followed it with a creamy tomato basil soup. This was not "line" food; it was gourmet. The beer I had was at the perfect temperature, a great pour, and it had that taste you can only get when the tap lines are cleaned often. I was fortunate enough to see the spectacular sunset over the runway from their wide panoramic windows, and it was stunning. I will look for any reason to stop here again. I just got done telling my wife how lousy the United club was in San Francisco so I was very pleased to find this hiding spot to kill a three hour layover. The Escape Lounge is a welcome respite when travelling in and out of Greenville Spartanburg Airport. The new airport is already my favorite airport and now with the new Escape Lounge it is all the better. This new executive lounge for American Express Platinum members puts the other airport clubs to shame. The attention to detail, the wonderful local cuisine, and the staff (particularly Katrina) go out of their way to be helpful. Arrived at the airport early so looked for a lounge to spend time in. Was welcomed warmly by the manager, Justin. Celia and another person whose name I can't remember now made me feel at home. Very impressed with the little plates - shrimp & grits, grilled salmon and sausage slider. I don't drink so I can't comment on the alcohol service but I do like soda and there was a good choice of soft drinks. There were charcuterie and desserts available. I couldn't resist taking a couple of cookies with me. Sorry, Justin! I chose a chair with a high back so I could take a quick nap. It was very comfortable. The lounge is not huge so it feels cozy inside. I did notice one imperfection. The paper towel dispenser in the bathroom is on the opposite wall away from the sink but hey, not gonna sweat that one. This lounge complements my overall positive opinion of GSP. I'm amazed by the many amenities that the tiny airport offers. read more
