    Mile high apple pie
    Linda S.

Need some time to relax and forget about work for a bit? I'm going to suggest Dray Bar & Grill. What a great place with relaxing vibes! It had a mile high apple pie that delights the palate. Nick was our server and he was absolutely amazing!!! He took care of us from start to finish. He was such pleasure to have. Definitely check this place out. We had a wonderful dining experience.

What they looked like when I ordered the crab cakes!

Really wanted to love this place, it's close by and easy to get to. Our service was good and so was our meal. I ordered the crab cakes as my main and couldn't finish it and asked to have the last crab cake boxed up to go. Again our service was good and we left. The next morning I wanted to have my last crab cake and found this! They must be very hungry working in the kitchen, I hoped whoever enjoyed the bites out of my crab cake! A before and after picture of what the crab cake looked like!

Location Northeast Spartanburg just off Drayton Road Parking Large private lot Atmosphere Sophisticated bar and restaurant Seating Very large bar and tables. Menu We had the fish salad-very healthy. Loaded with sliced green apples, spring mix, nuts. Large selection of wines and beer-soft drinks/iced tea. Summary Nice upscale bar and restaurant-not a happy hour place. Outstanding friendly service, great food, convenient location.

    Roasted olives

I came in with a group six that included 2 young kids. We were warmly greeted by everyone. Our waitress was exceptional! (I unfortunately don't remember her name.) All of our drinks and bar items arrived at quickly. I had the drink special which was delicious and only $5. We ordered the roasted olives as our appetizer. For dinner I tried the iceberg lettuce with the medium cooked salmon which was phenomenal. Everyone enjoyed their dinner choices and the kids loved the kids menu ideas. I would definitely return wheather it for another family dinner or a date night spot.

    Homemade Bloody Mary Mix

Located on Drayton Mill's Campus. 1800 Drayton Rd. Amazing Sunday Brunch Menu! From the hangover cure, chicken and waffles, French toast to amazing pancakes! This is the place to go for Sunday Brunch. Outdoor seating is available; with a huge gas fire pit and live music. Their Bloody Mary mix is homemade and one of the best in the Upstate. Bartenders are awesome, if you're sitting at the bar; and the staff takes great care of you if you want a more formal dining experience. They also have Private Dining options for large parties, corporate and special events. Don't forget to try one of their many homemade desserts!

Daily special " BOGAN'S HOT" BURGER
    Julie S.

We found this gem while passing through...we both had burgers ( I had the daily special " BOGAN'S HOT" BURGER Dray's chargrilled Certified Angus Beef burger with pickles, bacon, pepperjack cheese, fried onions, habanero bacon jam,and chipotle honey mustard )and tried the goat cheese bites .... Everything was delicious! Our server was great as well! Got the bread pudding to go! Out of this world!! Wish we lived closer!!

    Goat Cheese Balls

My wife and I decided on a late lunch and/or early dinner. We went to the Dray Bar. Wife had the Wedge Salad and Goat Cheese Balls and I had the Pimento Cheese BLT. Damn good food right there. Can provided Five Star Service at the bar. Order was correct, drinks and refills were timely, and a small but cool bar crowd plus Cam. He is very high energy and we all fed off of him. Come spend some time at a cool place with a cool bartender and some cool food!!!

We sat in their outside patio which was very pleasant for dinner. Meredith was our server who was very friendly and professional. We had the country fried steak with gravy, crab cakes and fish and chips. Food was great, service prompt!

    Lemon drop and strawberry drop
    Keirra A.

The drinks we had was a lemon drop and strawberry drop. I ended up getting a watermelon drop as well. Total I got 4 drinks which only the first 2 was good the second 2 was off. No sweetener in the drink just bitter. The food menu didnt have alot I was interested in, but the fries were good. The place looked really nice inside and had a live guy playing a guitar. We came during happy hour.

Not only does this wonderful establishment have a lot to offer in terms of drinks, food and excellent service, it is also located within the Historic Drayton Mill Textile Mill complex. A beautiful campus that allows one to revel within its well preserved architecture while enjoying its serene landscape. The dray bar and grill offers a very large dining room and a very comfortable patio, pick a couch and warm up to one of the very large gas fire tables. Since our only interest this evening was drinks, we did find an excellent selection of draft beers to choose from on the very comfortable patio. Cheers!

After waiting several minutes and finally being acknowledged, I politely asked the bartender for a canned beverage. She said I could not order from her and had to order from my waitress. When I noted that no waitress had visited our table yet, I politely asked to speak to a manager. At that point, the owner immediately emerged and erupted with a profanity-laced tirade, using extreme verbal aggression and telling me to get out, claiming I was "jumping ahead." We left immediately. The venue itself was clean, but the management style felt hostile and unpredictable. I've since found years of similar reports on community forums and other travel sites regarding hostile owner interactions and a reportedly toxic environment for staff. There has even been past litigation involving serious workplace allegations. I strongly encourage anyone to do their own research beyond the star ratings before deciding to support this establishment. I will not be returning.

There is one bar where you can walk up and order a drink, but there are waitresses you can order with from your table. Our waitress was friendly and outgoing. There are tables all over, sort of like communal seating. Plenty of room for large parties or couples. The guys that were playing pianos and singing had SO much talent!! They can sing and play any song you request! Later in the night a man joined them to play drums, which was great. Be sure to bring cash and tip!! You can fill out a card to request a song, embarrass a friend and get them up on the big seat on stage, put a shout out on the board, get your football team up on the board, and more. It really is a fun place to go.

We had great service. We started with the caviar appetizer. This consisted of caviar atop a crispy layered potato tot with creme'. It was delicious, albeit expensive for the portion size. I could have had a plate of those as my meal if the price was not so steep. My husband ordered the Elk (when in Rome!) and I had the Scallops based on a recommendation from the bartender in our club lounge. Both were excellent, but my husband's elk stole the show. It was worth every bite. It had the same crispy potato as the caviar set up and was an excellent pairing. Perfectly cook cooked to the chef's recommendation with a lovely reduction sauce to complement the meat. No "gamey" moment in the slightest. Super fresh! It was a great first experience with elk. My scallops were also impressively cooked to perfection. Not overdone- which I find restaurants guilty of doing all too often, and usually leads me to not order scallops. They were accompanied by a butternut risotto, fresh mushrooms and a sauce that escapes me. The portion size was appropriate for that price point. We did not have room for dessert, but we managed to sneak in an espresso martini and an old-fashioned to top the night off.
