An hour and a half to two hours is much more reasonable, affordable and fair. In addition the sound is way too low for people who have hearing deficiencies. I know the idea is to be mysterious, but the sound negatively affected our fun. And the greeter was too soft spoken also, barely audible. When you're excited to play you don't want to miss a beat. I hope someone from the org makes changes.

Amazing detail, attentive staff, and soooo much fun!!…read more The amount of new technology, cool set pieces, and clever clues... this is THE coolest escape room that I've done. You can get unlimited clues (so if you have never escaped... you can finally do it!!), but we only had to use two. They also don't require you to give up your phone, but they kindly ask for no photos or videos to ruin the puzzle for others. The Secret Society was just difficult enough and so well laid out. From moving through multiple rooms and having amazing detail on every stage, this escape room was phenomenal. We will be back to try some of the other rooms. Went to Puzzle Room Pittsburgh for the first time Saturday. It was easy to book our reservation…read moreonline ahead of time. I specifically chose Puzzle Room because I read online it was good for teenagers and I wanted to take my 14 yo niece and 12 yo nephew. We chose Christmas Countdown. It was really challenging. I was actually surprised how hard the one room was. Speaking of, this is very different from other Escape rooms that I have done as once you solve the puzzle a door opens and leads you into another room with puzzles! It was really fun and stressful - we solved the puzzle with 4 seconds to spare. After we got out my niece and nephew were ready to do another one. We cannot wait to come back and do the Sasquatch puzzle!

They also have Primal Pigment which is a cool way to let your inner creative side out! It's basically an interactive art studio- unwind, throw paint and have fun! This is great for parties and is BYOB! Great stress relief or fun and different activity to check out!

We did not complete the mission but came reasonably close (though not going to lie the clues were necessary to get that far). Game is very well thought out and challenging. I was so excited to try my first escape room for my birthday, finding one locally was great!…read more Unfortunately I dont have any great review to share and am happy to share it w the business before sharing publicly. Initially, the room is so bare empty. I expected a little more "interesting atmosphere." Another member of our group has done 4 escape rooms and mentioned this one was a "low budget" model. We didnt receive any input or direction of what to start with, and ended up calling for clues endlessly. When we opened the room w the barrels and called for a clue they told us we went out of order? We weren't supposed to be there yet? The wall cabinet w a keypad was the straw that broke the camels back. 4 or 5 members of our group had entered the code with no luck opening the cabinet. When time expired and the attendant came in the room, she also tried "the same" code several times and the cabinet did not open! Wth? This was obviously a malfunction and the responsibility of Escape Room South, and I believe we should receive a refund. (She offered to give us 5 extra minutes ! Hahaha!) Our group of 7 was fed up and we left.
