We wouldn't have gotten nearly as far as we did without the wonderful Janet. She definitely made the already awesome experience even better. All 3 of the rooms are well thought out and are not easy to escape from...you can ask for a clue to help you on your way. I had to ask for quite a few. Overall I felt that UNLOCK THE ADVENTURE was very entertaining and I would say a definite visit for all the family. The owners were very friendly and you could tell that they put a lot of time and love into creating an experience for everyone to enjoy! We were greeted by the owners and they are amazing, very personal and easy to talk to. We were brought into the room and the one owner tells the story getting you into the vibe and she is what sold me. Her excitement was everything and got me invested getting out. The room was thematically fun and smart, and though not the most high tech room, everything was purposeful and smartly placed. You can feel the love they have for a good escape room and I want to happily pass that on. The room was a high challenge rating, and I will say it definitely got my brain thinking. I've done a couple of Escape Rooms before, but after visiting this place I think I've found one of…read morethe best in Buffalo. Escape Room Adventures is on the top floor of the 62 Webster St. complex. You can enter through Canal Club 62's patio and go right up the stairs. The lobby is super cool in general, a precursor to what you'll face in the rooms themselves. There's a few tables and chairs to hang out in, plus a non-alcoholic drink bar. They have lockers where you can store your stuff before you go into the room (and you can keep the key on your wrist so you don't have to worry about losing track of it somewhere). I did the Stranger Things escape room with a couple of other Yelpers and let me just say, the amount of detail that went into the room itself and how intricate the puzzles were was just incredible! Sometimes I feel like escape room puzzles can be kind of basic, but they made finding the codes for the locks so much fun. They did a really good job of tying a ton of aspects from the show into the puzzle solving, and on top of it the rooms were so incredibly submersive I only wished I could take selfies in there!! At one point I was able to solve a specific puzzle quickly because I'm such a huge fan of the show that I didn't need to consult the clues to figure out the answer. We also got to communicate with walkie-talkies and crawl through a hole, what other escape rooms let you do that? The themes of their other rooms are also very pop-culture, which definitely scores some cool points with the giant nerd that I am. I am really looking forward to returning in the future!

Easily the best Escape Room I've ever done, and they also happen to have dirt cheap wonderful Italian Sodas that you need to try. Who knew that an Escape Room would have some of the better and more interesting, innovative beverages around. The first time I came here, I went in with Robin, Aaron, and the Manchester United loving son and super sweet daughter. They were a great team and we all did really well together. I like to win. We not only escaped, but we set the all time record for the fastest team ever to get out of our "Amityville Horror" room. The 2 most recent times I came here, it was actually for a drink! As my friends and I found out on the day of the event, the Italian sodas here are magnificent. And dirt cheap too. These, alone, are worth 5 stars. The other thing about this escape room, and perhaps most importantly, this place is run and owned by the loveliest family you could ever meet. They lost one of their children to cancer, and this place is dedicated accordingly. It's a beautiful concept, and they are beautiful people.

Where to begin? First, let's talk about Celeste at Swain! What a fantastic person friendly and helpful on the phone when we discussed the plans. Lovely in person, and very helpful through the experience. Hannah, one of the hosts of the escape room was kind too, and I must admit patient with my group of teenage boys. Thank you again for that! The rooms themselves are well done and the stories are interesting. I personally recommend the Hairy Women of Klipnocky - the rooms are not only entertaining puzzles, but really, they are work of art and engineering. I love how they have built the rooms so well! Of all the escape rooms I've done, this was by far the most high-tech and engaging one I've experienced. I think that having an escape room at a ski resort is a perfect idea. You can have people come prior to ski season (like we did), but I imagine that this is a great option for other things to do at the center when you need a break from the slopes, or you have a non-skier in the mix. The drive from Rochester is a little long to make it an easy destination, but I think it is a great destination none-the-less. Overall, my students had a good time, I probably had a better time, but all in all I appreciated the opportunity to do some team-building and get our brains working! Thanks again to Celeste and Hannah who made our experience a great one! Yelpers, I highly recommend this place, so make sure you check it out when you're able!

Mystery Mayhem Escapes was a mystery indeed because I had no idea this establishment existed. I enjoyed the facility, and the owner was a pleasant resource for axe throwing tips. Previously, I did most of my axe throwing in my enchanted forest. After one too many yeets, several maple trees ganged up and tortured me in my sleep -- leaving me behind as they ran away to find new ground. I would return, but one of the trees fell on my Nissan Leaf rental car.

All of us had a blast solving puzzles and competing to see which group would solve their room first. The puzzles are challenging and really engage everyone's unique abilities. Charged $50 for a $7 toy bug and still harassing me after I returned it…read more My son accidentally took home a small plastic bug from one of their rooms. I'm a single mom from out of town and took full responsibility right away. For almost two weeks, they called and emailed me **daily** -- sometimes multiple times a day -- even though I stayed in constant contact and told them I would bring it back after Halloween. I do a large Halloween setup every year for local children, so I was extremely busy, but I never once said I wouldn't return it. On the day I planned to finally bring the bug back, my truck broke down and needed a new fuel pump, towing, and repairs. Without even reaching out to ask what happened, they went ahead and **charged my bank card $50 without notice or permission.** That was my gas money to actually come and return the bug -- which, by the way, costs about $7 online. After borrowing gas money, I *still* drove back and returned the item in person. Instead of an apology, I've since been **harassed and pressured** to make my daughter delete her own review -- with them even saying my refund "could be delayed" if she doesn't. This review is from me, Patricia. I was upfront, responsible, and in contact the entire time. They chose to overcharge me, threaten me, and keep bothering my family over a $7 toy bug. If you enjoy being treated unfairly, charged without consent, and badgered nonstop, Adventures Rooms Niagara Falls is definitely the place for you.

My family and I were visiting Niagara Falls for the weekend, and we decided to have some fun at…read morenight and try out an escape room. We tried out the Dracula themed room. I have to say I love the ambiance of the place. The old house really sets the mood. The place itself isn't at all horror theme so I would say it's more on the family friendly side. I would still ask in advance though if it's safe to bring children to the place. The puzzles weren't too complicated so that was nice. There isn't a clock/timer in the room however so it's hard to know how much time you have left for figuring out the puzzles. Be careful with parking because it's surrounded by other private parking areas so just be aware of that. The receptionist is nice and they give you hints/clues when you ask. Overall, I think this place was cute and great because it wasn't that hard to figure out (which was great for me because I'm not a great critical thinker when it comes to puzzles).
