I shopped around and canvassed for the soonest appointment and most competitive price. I chose Air Controls because Jeremy was prompt, professional, and the price was reasonable. His quote was the most competitive and he explained what the job entailed in details any non-HVAC professional will understand. Long story short, the job was done perfectly. The second time I called Air Controls was yesterday. The HVAC unit in the house we just moved into stopped blowing air. I immediately thought of Air Controls because of my personal experience as a satisfied customer. Again, Jeremy didn't disappoint. He told me he was coming out today at 8:30 am. We have terrible rain (Hurricane Florence aftermath) and some roads to our house are flooded. I thought Jeremy would cancel, but he didn't. He showed up on time and got the job done flawlessly... When we neared our projected installation date, they decided they no longer wanted to install our HVAC system because my husband asked (albeit annoying?) questions about our heat pump options and the services that were included in our TEN THOUSAND DOLLAR investment. I wish they had decided we were not worth servicing from the beginning instead of telling us to sit in the cold for two months and then not do the job they had agreed to do. I hate leaving bad reviews, but their poor communication and heartless lack of follow through warranted *some* kind of public warning to anyone else that dare ask ignorant or pesky questions about the products or services that they're buying.
