We were people watching and wanted to go check them out when the throng began to go across the street and were entering the temple. We just followed them in. Everyone there was singing and dancing, smiling and there was music playing. We felt very comfortable. No one approached us about anything but several said hello and welcome with smiles. It was really beautiful, colorful and lively. The women were dressed in traditional Indian garb including bindis. Several of the men had white or orange robes. There were a number of children present and almost everyone looked to be of Eastern Indian descent. There was an alter with fruits across it and I'm quite sure that this was a particularly special celebration. The men danced on one side of the room and the women were on the other. No one seemed to mind at all while we took photos of the building and the people there and, as we left, people wished us well. All in all, it was an interesting experience and I'm glad we were allowed to drop in!
