I have used Minuteman Press many times for my business cards and brochures for my company, Fraser Decks and Patio Covers, and they have always been outstanding and gone the extra mile to make sure my stuff was EXACTLY how I wanted it! A few weeks ago I asked them to completely redesign my company logo and to also print out some shirts and new business cards with the new logo...all in record time for a business trip I was going on a couple days later. I didn't think it could possibly happen within my required time frame and I was a pain to deal with on the design work, but they were amazing every step of the way. Not only did they get the shirts and cards done on time, they personally delivered them to my house to make sure I had them before my flight! It was simply ridiculous service. Emailed request for a quote was quick, and service over email was also polite. But, I decided to go elsewhere because I had three 11 x 14 jpg files that I needed printed to 11 x 14 cardstock/photo paper. I was told that they could only work with PDF files. I had a heck of a time trying to convert the files to PDF while keeping the 11 x 14 size, so they said they could accept the 8.5 x 11 PDF and for $15.00 more they could convert to 11 x 14 for me. I ended up calling another company right away, and they chuckled and said wow, and told me they accept jpg files. And, their quote was much less. So, I know this place has a lot of great reviews so maybe they're better for other types of projects. read more

I feel so lucky to have found MinuteMan Press. We moved our company to the area four months ago and I spent a tremendous amount of time meeting with various printing companies in Fallbrook, Vista, Escondido...getting one ridiculous quotation after another. I believe I made the mistake of telling people that we had moved from Santa Barbara, CA...and they took this (Santa Barbara being an affluent area) as an opportunity to double the normal pricing. Forgetting of course, that small towns like Carpinteria make up Santa Barbara. I saw the reviews of MinuteMan Press on Yelp and decided to give them a try, and am so glad I did. Their pricing is fair--but it is the quality of the printing and the warmth of their service that is doubly appreciated by us. Quick to report. Quick to print. Very pleasant and easy to work with. I was in urgent need of business cards for a trade show. I sent Minuteman Press, on Mission St. in Escondido,a digital camera ready version of the cards. I asked for a quote on "premium" card stock and agreed to pay an extra 20% for this stock. When I picked up the cards the stock was standard 80 lb card stock like you could print off your home printer. They said If I wanted "Extra Premium" 110 lb stock that would have been even more. I had no idea they even had "extra premium". Second I asked for 500 cards and gave them two names with titles that way I would end up with 250 for each person. They charged extra because there were two names that had to be separated when cutting off the same sheet of paper !! I have been buying business cards for over 20 years and have never been so badly duped by a business. The SD BBB is so incompetent that they couldn't even send a complaint letter to the right business so I am YELPing Minuteman Press in Escondido. If you need a job done right, at fair prices, don't use this printing business. read more
