Made an appointment to see the dentist here, which was not a pleasant experience but everyone can have a bad day!
Attended for the appointment, reception was horrible, staff have no understanding of being pleasant, let alone understanding for people who find it hard to visit the dentist. They shout, are abrupt and bark orders so much so I thought they must for some reason have thought I was deaf, which I am not.
Seeing the dentist ( a very young lady downstairs) she spoke at 200 miles an hour, seemed totally uninterested, uncaring did not listen, talked over you and could not wait to get you out again. Made me feel so upset and like I should not have been there. She even said the words, "have not got time for this now"
I returned to reception to make the next appointment only to be met by more of what I had previously, just horrible and nasty, certainly these people should not be in health care.
The "WELCOME" card they give you which I read afterwards says things like,
Failure to pay fully for your dental treatment will result in de-registration from our practice. we will also consider legal action to recover the debt.
Re failed appointments, The current charge is up to £1 per MINUTE of surgery time lost. we reserve the right to cancel any future treatment appointments of patients who fail an appointment .
If you give us less than 4 hrs notice of cancellation then a charge will almost certainly be made.
Clearly written by the reception staff!! not what reads like a welcome to the practice is it?
I trust they pay you £1 a minute if they keep you waiting!!!
I was so upset by the whole visit that I cancelled my appointment and would not return or recommend this place. read more
