He admitted to the police that he was at fault and was ticketed for failure to maintain his lane, yet it still took me over a month to reach anyone at GoAuto. My car had around $20,000 in damage, but they refused to cover the full amount and offered only $7,000. I kept calling because that was nowhere near enough to repair the damage, and believe it or not, the adjuster blocked my number. The only time they answered was to yell at me and tell me to stop calling. I finally got a response after filing a complaint with the Department of Insurance, so I strongly recommend doing that immediately if you are having problems with GoAuto. I only received payment after getting my own insurance company involved. In total, it took six months to resolve an accident their policyholder clearly caused. Their communication and customer service were completely unacceptable. Avoid GoAuto unless you want the person you hit to spend months chasing payment and potentially have to sue you just to get their car repaired.
