Teresa does not speak good English and misunderstands/misinterprets the hair services you want. She asks the same questions over and over again but still misses the mark! To top it off she highlighted and cut my hair to her own liking not the way I wanted it! I told her numerous times the color and style I wanted and she did her own thing and went way too dark with highlights...I hate my hair! Not to mention the cut is uneven and not professional looking. I told her I was unhappy with the outcome and her response was let another stylist fix it..Really? For the prices she charges I can get a much better color and cut elsewhere. DO NOT GO TO TERESA. OR SALON. I went there because my daughter goes to the same school as hers . I wanted to patronize a female business . When we spoke about the price she was haggling for more money . She started out with $300 and she went down to $150 for partial highlights . She asked me about a cut or a style , and I said never will I cut my hair nope because I have not cut it in years , it takes forever to grow , and I have anemia and the start of alopecia . So if my hair isn't falling out , it is thinning out . Did not think any more about it . When I got there I had to do some work on my tablet , since she told me if I didn't come in earlier she would not be able to see me . So I did because I had a big business banquet , that evening . I had brought my tablet in , and told her I will be on the tablet most of the time catching up on work I . My head's going to be down so just tell me when to move it , . I ​ we we're on the phone I asked about gentle hair dye and if she has it . I told her to please use that when I come in as long as it's permanent , she said it's better than the other one she uses . The first time she did the highlights an hour later they did not develop , I told her to be very careful the second time , because I did not want to lose any hair . My head was on fire she was nowhere to be found , I had to remove myself from the dryer . When she took the foils off my head felt so hot . Did not know until I got home about the sores that I got because she did not take the product off in time . After the foils were off , I wasn't paying attention , because I was so preoccupied . I look up for a second and threw the mirror I see her with a pair of shears in her hand . I told her I hope you're not cutting my hair and she said no of course not . I I went to for salons after this happened and they all refused me because I have open sores on my head, due to the hair dye that was left on too long She she chopped off five full inches of my hair and 2 in on one side is shorter than the other , when we were done I was so sidetracked because I didn't even look in the mirror because she moved me to the front because she wanted to take pictures outside of my hair . And when I asked to see the pictures I realized at home what had happened .. mom is already late for my appointment so I just ran out of there , paid her in cash since that is what she requested , she doesn't like to take credit cards , because of tax . And when I handed it to her she said I should be charging you more . Did she think I was going to pay her for a haircut I did not ask for ., when I noticed my hair was Brown , no highlights Brown , I called her up . She told me it was my fault because my hair was dyed previously , I have all this in texts saved. She said I washed my hair and use the wrong shampoo , I told her I just left your salon why would I shampoo my hair . She told me if she fixes it it will be $150 again . I told her that was not very professional and I'll never go back to her again . She said a few Choice words to me over the phone , which were very derogatory , and rude and can be taken as hate . Then as I ran to grab a scrunchie I put it in my hair and I realized my hair was so thin that she thinned it out and razored it . Women are buying hair pieces and extensions , I have to do the same thing now because of her , when I had a beautiful head of hair that I waited 7 years for . I lost all confidence . I do not even want to pass a mirror to look in it , if I ask for a haircut and it came out bad , that would be my fault cuz I asked for it . I never ever gave her permission to touch the length of my hair .. when I tried calling her to confront her I was immediately blocked . It went from a few rings when I called back it went right into voicemail . I left her messages , texts and no response for 2 months . I even told her I'm going to pursue this legally. She never apologized explained nor owned up to what she did . She added an hour to my day because I have to put in my hair piece , since I look like I got into a fight with the lawn mower . I am consumed with this travesty she created . I still cannot believe she chopped my hair . ​ ​ , I . I She affected my business , my mental state . And my self-esteem . I have many texts confirming what I said and photos . It is illegal to touch someone's person even hair without their permission . Amazing! I haven't found anyone who truly understands the therapy a great color and cut can provide. I saw the amazing before and after photos and decided to give her a try. I was not disappointed! She is talented, professional, and listens. She took her time and paid close attention to the details. I almost fell asleep while she washed my hair. Where do I start? For one. My hair appointment was at 12:30pm. I didn't get out of there till 5:30pm! She was working on 5 other girls hair while she was working on mine. For a moment I thought she had forgotten about me, because she was sitting on the beauty chair with another client chatting it up for a while! she left my head in the sink for 30-35mins! My neck was cramping terribly! No support or towel for my neck. Then to top it off, she had the audacity to ask me how many kids I have I told her 3 and she goes and states how that's not good, this world is not good to have that many babies, this world is bad. Tf? Excuse me??, ( I let it go, didn't let it bother me) she messed up my hair, my hair was so ugly! And she really thought she did something. I get it, my hair was dark and it is a process. But the fact that she had me in the sink with my neck cramping for 35mins! Then I didn't get out of there till 5:30?! Are you kidding me? She told me that she had a promotion going on for $95 for highlights, she never mentioned it was partial highlights until after she had already did the damage. I ended up paying $225 for my hair that I hated! Then she later stated that she does what she thinks if I don't say anything at the time of the appointment. Funny thing is, we discussed this prior to me showing up on Facebook. I do not recommend her at all. If you want your hair burned off because she's to busy doing 5 other clients hair at the same time as yours then she is the gal. Then I came home and I told her I hated my hair, my hair is burned. She asked if I can come in the next day or so to fix it for free. I was going to give her the benefit of the doubt and went ahead and scheduled another session with her for the following week at 11:30 and then day of at 11:15am she tells me that she is out of the office and won't be back till 1pm and wanted me to come in later that day. So let's start off by saying my appointment was at 12pm but I didn't sit in my stylist chair till 1:30pm because she was busy highlighting two other clients which I did not have a problem with Because I was only going in for a root touch up since my hair is already blonde. She asked me what I wanted and color So i showed her pictures and made it very clear to her I did not like gray,blue or green toners which she agreed and said it wouldn't come out ashy ... time goes by and towards the end I see her putting a ashy color on my hair I didn't say anything because I trusted her professionalisms when my hair was being blow dried I almost cried because the color was everything I did not want! I explained to her that I was upset with the color and confused why my hair had hints of green and of course she got defensive.
