Luxury Nails & Spa is truly one of the best places to get a pedicure. I've been coming here for quite some time, and while they've gone through a few management changes, my recent experiences have been better than ever. A couple of months ago, I made the mistake of going somewhere else because I was on the opposite side of town--and the pedicure was terrible. I came into Luxury Nails & Spa as a walk-in, hoping they could fix it, and they didn't hesitate for a second. They took me right in and completely turned it around. Not only did they fix the mess, but that pedicure lasted over eight weeks! I went back again yesterday and had another absolutely lovely experience. So thrilled that the former owners are gone and that the lovely new owner has taken over. Every single person who works here is attentive, kind, and talented. I haven't had a bad manicure or pedicure since the transition, and am much more enjoying watching Food Network and HGTV on the TVs rather than Fox News. I had a really wonderful manicure + conversation with Luxury Nail's owner, Ann. The spa recently came under new ownership and I don't think I've had a better manicure in the valley. Ann is a talented artist, attentive to detail, and so warm + kind. And the spa itself is super cute, clean, and inviting. I'm kind of annoying with how much I pay attention to tiny things like cuticle shaping, symmetry of nail shape, the height/thickness of the builder gel above my natural nail bed... not to make a corny joke, but Ann "nailed" it!!! And the price was so reasonable. Full gel builder set for $50. I've paid upwards of $75 without tip for much lower quality work. I can't recommend Luxury Nails enough. read more

Not the best experience, made an appointment, which means nothing...specified I wanted nail art on my big toes...got the basic 5 dots of a flower from someone who did an adequate job. Went here for the first time last month. Besides the woman working too fast and cutting my skin with the drill causing me to bleed, I thought my nails came out decent and went back a second time a couple of weeks ago. Today I noticed underneath my nails was kind of dark, I knew immediately it was fungus. I took my nails off and yep, fungus. I've been here several times but it's been months because I haven't been in town. I'm not sure what happened to this place, but the experience was a C- beginning to end. My pedicurist tired to hard sell me on extra services several times. Gave me no massage and rushed through when I kept declining the extra services. They tried to charge my friend an extra charge for removing her polish because they said it was gel and harder to remove. It was not gel. She's never in her life had gel. Zoom in on my nails. This place is trash!!! I got my brows done and I specifically told them I just wanted a clean up and no thin brows and the lady messed up my brows. She made them so thin. When she gave me the mirror I gasped and started crying and she tried to gaslight me saying that they looked good. Then after awhile she told me I didn't have to pay but I stayed in the room crying for a whole hour because I was in such shock! I don't know what to do now my brows are so messed up and to make mattters worse one brow is thinner than the other. I don't know how long it will take for my brows to recover from this or even if they would recover. The lady (Linda) didn't even say sorry to me. I'm so sad and I'm still crying. I'm not one to write bad reviews. As a business owner myself, I know how important these reviews are. However, I have never been so unsatisfied with a manicure/pedicure. I went to Luxury Nails and Spa on a family vacation in Palm Springs. I trusted the reviews and it seemed like a nice place to go relax. They were accommodating and took a same day appointment. They were also nice enough to inform me over the phone that they do not take credit cards, so to bring cash or Venmo to avoid a debit card fee. Anhkhoa asked me to take a seat and began my pedicure in the spa chair. It was relaxing and she was nice to talk to. However, upon finishing my pedicure, she grabbed my sandals and asked me to walk over to her table. My nail polish hadn't even dried and I wanted to have a spa gel manicure, so I asked if we could please stay in the spa chair. She said, "No, sorry honey." I asked again because I really didn't want to leave the massage chair and she again said, "No, it's easier for me at my table." I reluctantly got up and started dragging my feet to the table because I was afraid to ruin my nail polish with my flip flop sandals. My right sandal slipped off and I snagged my big toe. I mentioned it to her and she just laughed and didn't help put it back on or offer to fix the nail polish. I meant to ask her again after but got distracted with my manicure (pictures attached). At the table, she began my gel manicure. When she added the clear coat, she asked me to put my hand in the UV light. When I did, I realized my nails burned, so I removed it from the light and told her. She said, "You're just sensitive, put it back in." I get gel manicures all the time and this has never happened to me. But I did as I was told and it burned a little less. She finished the clear coat on my left hand but my right hand was still in the UV light so I waited for it to finish. I noticed a bubble-like shape on my left thumb and showed it to her but she said it would "fix" after and she blamed me for "looking at my nails and not putting it straight in the UV light". I reminded her about the burning nail situation and how I had to leave my right hand in longer as the light started over. I thought this was very rude of her. After she added multiple coats of nail polish, I realized that my left thumb still looked bubbly and so did a few other nails. I mentioned it to her and she reluctantly began filing away trying to fix it. It looked a bit better, but not by much. I needed to be at a dinner soon after my appt, so I didn't demand she re-do it. But I really should have come back to get it re-done at a later time. One week later I notice that the nail polish was starting to pull away from the edges of the nail. This has NEVER happened before with any of my gel manicures! The polish stays on through the depths of hell I normally put my hands through, which is why I pay extra for this service. 2 days after that, I get two big chips on my right hand and finally decided to remove the polish. I've tried removing gel nail polish in the past on my own and it is virtually impossible... but not this nail polish. It literally peeled right off! I would definitely not recommend this salon and would never go back myself. Perhaps it was just Anhkoa, perhaps it's their old nail polishes that need to be replaced. Either way, it wasn't worth the $60 and I didn't appreciate the customer service provided by the nail technician. Had a really bad experience today. Albeit I only paid for the basic pedi for my Sister and I but my cuticles on my toes were barely touched. I go to get a pedi because I'm not good at doing my cuticles on my toes.is that not what we pay for? I spoke up before we paid and said I was not happy with my service. Zero stars if i could, nail tech was more interested in watching her tv show on youtube on her cell phone (she kept fidgeting with her phone laying on her lamp so she could watch and had one headphone on) than paying attention to not hurting my cuticle with the nail grinder. My cuticles are irritated today. She then proceeds to clip my nails with a clipper she had sitting around. I did not see her break open a sanitized package. I got a dip powder manicure and the whole polish is coming off on some nails just hours later, this is not supposed to happen with powder until they grow out. On my first time there I had a regular mani (and spa pedicure) because I didn't want to do gel polish not knowing how soon I'd return, given Covid uncertainties. This Saturday afternoon I committed to a gel polish manicure. On Sunday I had a chipped thumb and today, Monday, about a third of my index finger's polish has lifted in a big chip! While visiting this week and stopping at Trader Joe's, I noticed Luxury Nails & Spa. When I entered I was greet warmly and made an appointment for the next day. I hadn't read reviews prior to my arrival. They were mixed but here's my impression: the salon was very clean, the owner greeted me and remembered me the next day.
