They enforce an unsafe work ratio and do not, in their own words, care about whether we stay or go. The nursing staff and disposable and undervalued. I had to quit before I compromised my license or got fired for not being in six places at once. Bottom line: veterans, welcome. I am a veteran and would love the care they receive. The three meals per day he has thoroughly enjoyed, as he has put on fifteen pounds in his three months there ( served at his bedside instead of the spacious community dining room; he has been spoiled.) Our sister-in-law(Eloise G. -a nurse of 45yrs., retired) after visiting commended the facility and personnel for their cleanliness, lack of odors and professionalism-their caring attitude was exemplary. Elmcroft is a very adequate assisted-living facility for people who need just a little help to get…read morealong. The home is clean and in good repair, and there are plenty of activities to keep the residents occupied. Unfortunately, Elmcroft's memory care (Alzheimer's) unit leaves much to be desired. The staff does administer medications, but they have no capability to actually manage dementia care. Family members are required to arrange all medical treatment. Elmcroft can handle Alzheimer's patients who have been drugged into oblivion, but they are either unwilling or unable to deal with patients who suffer from dementia with behavioral disturbance. We had a loved one who spent just five days at Elmcroft before they gave up on him and kicked him out. Of course, they kept the money we had given them. Elmcroft is one of the less expensive options for Alzheimer's/memory-care living. But you definitely get what you pay for. If you're looking around for a place for a family member, I suggest you look elsewhere.

I explained to this attendent details about my husband's serious heart condition. He ignored me. At supper my husband was taken into the cafeteria where he got sick, He was taken to his room. He was very cold and blankets were put on him. He refused to take any of his medicine. A doctor for the facility was not called. When I asked the male attendant why a doctor was not called after I had given this attendant detailed information about the seriousness of my husband's heart condition. The attendant replied, "He had me." My husband went into cardiac arrest. The EMTs were called and tried to revive him for awhile, but my husband died. In my opinion, this is gross negligence on the part of this attendant at Rosewood. I am grateful for the kindness and help I received from the women who worked at Rosewood. One helped me find a funeral home. For this I am thankful. However, I can not recommend this facility to anyone.

She likes almost everything they serve her to eat, and Lisa Marie makes sure there's plenty of activities to keep her occupied. My mother is 98 years old, but still very social and has so much to look forward to. She does not just stay in her room. She joins in on activities and looks forward to her days. I also appreciate how thoughtful the aides can be with her. They showed her attention and care, and all of it is so important to me.

I have been a patient at advanced 2 times for 100 days the first time was April 2025-July 2025. The…read morenext time I was there was feb 2026-May 2026. Most of the staff were excellent but I had one staff member a cna tell me what I needed to do to get back in my bed. Not a nurse or therapy. She said it was because I am leaving in the next 15 days but no one in management or admin or the plan team talked to me. She had no business talking to me about my daily therapy. Total hippa violation. I asked the plan team to file a grievance for me and again I never heard back from anyone. I was suppose to get a prescription called in for pain meds or at least talk to the dr about a prescription. Again no one has gotten back to me. My team for home health will be getting the prescription but not until the 10th so i am doing therapy on my own and no pain meds I just have to deal with it. I found out recently that advanced has been sold and they will be under a new name and owner. Hopefully the staff members who wronged me and didn't seem to care about my feelings and my privacy will be better in the future. I am thankful for the handful of nurses and CNA's, and therapists that took care of me. Too bad the upper staff and the administration staff can see what they are doing and treating the patients. My rating today is -1 last time it was a 5. I'm sad on so many staff members that have left there. They were beyond excellent to the patients. Thank you
