I can't say enough good things about Nicole Chenoweth. I work for a concierge company and I had a last-minute request from a client for catering for 20 people. From the moment I called and spoke to Nicole, she was a pleasure. I am sorry to have to write a negative review on our recent experience using their catering services. Ashley was very wonderful to work with. She was patient and professional and made adjustments Along the way as we needed. We had them cater a baby shower, and it was a ballpark theme. Miguel was great in setting up the food, but that was all that was good. The food was really bad. Dried out hot dogs and unappetizing looking and tasting mini corn dogs. Oversized sandwich rolls which were too large of the hotdogs and not tasty. The salad had a lot of brown greens and the dressing was oily and unfixable. The coleslaw was good and so were the chicken nuggets. But overall the prese tetion amount and quality of the food was extremely disappointing. I will say they responded to my follow up email and requested a live conversation.But two weeks later, that still hasn't happened. I asked for an adjustment on what seemed an exorbitant cost for what we got, but no reply....yet. Sadly, I cannot recommend them and will not use them in the future. read more

Our office used them for a taco lunch buffet and people were pretty happy. Loved the seasoned chopped chicken, and the ground beef was good too. Plenty of toppings including a roasted corn/squash mix that went a step beyond the ordinary. Warm tortillas were good. And plenty of chips and salsa for snacking. Not super gourmet, but it was flavorful, good quality, fresh, and generously portioned - should please most everyone. read more

Our department have monthly staff meetings and we always try new vendors to cater our meals. I ordered from this place before for a retirement party and we were happy with the food. I had high hopes for this choice of menu...but was utterly and extremely disappointed. I ordered the Hawaiian picnic package that consisted of Kalua Pork, Huli Huli Chicken, coconut rice, grilled corn and rolls with a side of either Asian Cole slaw or Ono potato salad. I choice Ono potato salad...which we never got. Omg...where do I begin? Me and my co-workers enjoy food...in fact that is our #1 topic at work...we all love food. And the typical sandwiches and pizza for our meetings were getting tiresome...so let's try something new. And what we got was...."ughhhh....smh" I thought Kahlua pork was slow cooked wiith a smoking taste sometimes served with cabbage. The Kalua pork we got was smoothered in a sweet chili sweet and sour sauce. Blahhhh.....The Huli Hulu Chicken was swimming in bbq sauce. The chicken looked like they were previously frozen. The coconut looked ok at first, but was overly sweet. The coconut shaving and pineapple added to the sweetness. They gave us a cucumber salad that had tangerine's and coconut....again too sweet...and a weird combo. This meal is a diabetic's nightmare. My sugar levels just went up recalling this meal. The only thing that was decent was the hawaiiam bread, which you can tell was packaged bread, and the grilled corn. After our meeting, my fellow co-workers and I had to get a second lunch because the food was horrible. read more

I recently had my moms 75th bday catered by Espostos and they were excellent! I'm a full time photographer and have dealt with my fair share of event staff / caterers / vendors and for once I guess I was the point of contact for them...and they were wonderful in communicating with me throughout the evening asking where to put things, how things should look, etc. The venue messed up our linen order (12 linens for 15 tables?!) and fortunately Espostos was able to help with a few table linens that matched the existing black table linens perfectly. We had catering from Esposto's Catering for our monthly meeting this past week and it was probably the worst food I've had in awhile. Our colleague had ordered a Hawaiian menu of barbeque chicken, kahlua pork, coconut rice, and macaroni salad. First of all, there was no macaroni salad. They presented some odd concoction of cucumber and mandarin orange salad with coconut flakes. The chicken in no way resembled proper Hawaiian bbq. It was dried out chicken breast that was swimming in regular barbeque sauce. The kahlua pork had some odd hot and sour sauce on it. It did not have the smokey flavor that traditional kahlua pork is supposed to have. The coconut rice was overcooked and too sweet because the coconut milk overpowered the rice. Most of our team just ate the roasted corn and Hawaiian bread that came with the catering. After our meeting, we headed straight to a Mexican restaurant nearby because we were still hungry from not eating most of the food. I would hope that a catering company would do some research about what is proper Hawaiian cuisine. I would never use this caterer again. read more

So they finally came in and did their tasting... The continental breakfast items had a funky freezer taste to it. You know how when you leave bread or something in the freezer too long it has a funky taste? Yeah... the muffin tops had that weird taste... The bruschetta was kick ass but extremely calorie heavy. Excellent catering service! Having a meeting in the office with some big wigs calls for a menu with a little more flavor other than cold sandwiches or pizza. We decided to call Esposto's who we had used for smaller office gatherings and only for cold platters. (Very Yummy also) I was very amazed that this place pulled it off. They presented the food very elegantly and was very flavorful. We ordered the Chicken Marsala (Chicken Breast w/ Mushrooms in a Marsala wine sauce), Sauteed Seasonal Vegetables, Penne pasta dish, plus rolls & butter. 3 words: AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME!!!!! I used their services a few years back and remember them being good. I almost forgot how good they are. Today, they catered for a 300 person company picnic. They were wonderful all around! The picnic started at 1230. They were there at 1030am to set up. They were on time, super friendly and helped with all kinds of craziness. I can't remember how many times I thanked them for helping me with other things that had NOTHING to do with what they were serving. Items included: refilling drink buckets as they got low, finding bowls/platters for chips and dips I brought, finding suitable areas for the drinks and for cookies. Helping me get heavy items in and out of the cars. NOW onto what they were hired to do: cook delicious food, keep the food trays full, make sure everyone got what they needed, were super professional.. the list goes on and on. No one saw how helpful they were to me but that's ok. I make the calls when it comes to catering and I saw how they were. The most important thing is that everyone at the picnic LOVED the food. They had plenty of vegetarian options and were really good about keeping things separate. They worked with what we had (trust me.... it wasn't easy) and never missed a beat. It was my first time ordering company lunch catering from Esposto's, and we were all delighted with their food and services. Gina from Esposto's is really helpful and friendly, so as the delivery and catering setup guy called Lian (if I did not remember it wrong...my bad!). They provided full buffet trays and setup services, as well as pick up service afterwards. They kept the food in a professional warming unit and the pasta was so fresh, hot and yummy! YES, if one is doing pasta delivery, they should guarantee it is hot upon arrival, and Esposto's definitely deliver well, more than expected! Lasagna tastes good and full of vegetables and mushrooms. It does not taste too rich at all, which... it was all emptied and no leftover! Esposto's is already on top of our pasta catering list and we all look forward trying more pastas from them. read more

Worked with Kate Maciel, Catering Manager who was very accommodating to menu modifications due to dietary restrictions and was always prompt in responding to questions and requests. Ordered appetizers (lamb pops, chicken empanadas, phyllo shrimp and stuffed mushroom) and main meal (cranberry salad, chicken marsala, sea bass, ravioli, sauteed vegetables and rice pilaf). The food was delicious, quantity provided was good and guests got to take left over home. Delivery and setup was prompt and we didn't have to worry about anything. The food was hot and ready to be served. Assorted rolls and butter came with the main menu. Guests enjoyed the selection and commented how delicious the food was. Just got catering from this place for our company lunch, and its horrible! The only thing that was good was the bread. All the items tasted very bland, and they didn't even have Parmesan cheese on the side. They definitely need to add more flavors to the ingredients, or at least put some salt. They did a magnificent job in providing amazing food, service and event coordination. We worked with Gina to put together a menu and the only difficult part was deciding which kind of food to provide since they offered so many delicious things. They provided all of the linens, dishes, cutlery, and servers and their rental prices for additional items were very affordable and good quality. Everyone loved the cheese display during cocktail hour and my guests still talk about how much they enjoyed the food. Stern Grove is a difficult place to host a large event because it requires a lot of work, but Esposto's made it easy for us and knew the location well. The knocked it out of the park! I work solely with Kate, and it was her vision as to what to serve and the presentation. Mashed Potato Bar served in Martini glasses, carving station, amazing dessert bar! But the highlight of the evening was the Stir Fry station served in Chinese Food to go containers! Kate could not have been more helpful in making appropriate menu recommendations based on the time of day and type of event. We ended up with a hot pasta dish, antipasto platters and roasted vegetables with biscotti and lemon bars for dessert. David delivered the food, set up the linens and buffet table, beverage station, etc. and remained throughout the event replenishing the hot dish and monitoring the beverages. He was a huge help. Esposto's recently catered my wedding, and they did a fantastic job. First of all: The food. Though not over the top gourmet with fancy presentations, it was very tasty food. They had a nice variety of food to pick from on their menu. We chose salmon picatta and a roast beef carving station, which was a really nice touch. We also wanted to serve some Indian dishes, and they actually found recipes which were quite good and made daal (lentils) according to a recipe I gave them. I might add they made several dishes for us to try free of charge when we expressed that we wanted Indian dishes. I also liked the fresh fruit they provided. My favorite item of the whole night was the tomato mozzarella salad they served on a skewer. I called it caprese on a stick. Second: Service. We had passed appetizers and an open bar. The entire staff worked well together and with us, and made a smooth awesome event. It was 150 people at my house, so this was no small feat. I learned that when looking for a catering company to do an event like a wedding it is more than just the food, you also want to consider their service experience. Esposto's has an awesome record of events of all shapes, sizes and styles. Finally, I want to make special mention of Deserae. She coordinated everything before the event, and also acted as a wedding coordinator during. I didn't pay attention to the different detail elements of my wedding, like when the bride and groom are announced and such. She had everything together and did quite a bit of directing. She made my event flow more smoothly. We also used their rental company, YPR, for all of our rentals. It was more reasonable than other rental companies we looked at, and having everything coming from the same place made coordinating a lot more smooth. Once again, Esposto's did not let me down. Another wonderful event at Serra High School this past Wednesday Evening with our annual Fund a Dream event. As always, the food was superb, they fed 500 sit down dinner with in 37 minutes! food was hot and all our guests were raving. Service outstanding and they are always so ready to help. The other part of their company is Your Party Rentals. They came in and once again transformed our gym into a "ballroom" Vic Esposto and his crew are amazing.
