All the food was absolutely delicious and they had such a great choice of vegetarian options. I would recommend everything I ordered, and I want to try more of their offerings in the future. I really appreciated my communication with Mary, who worked with me to suggest options in my budget and also was flexible as our event date changed. The ordering process was done via email. Once I placed my order, I actually picked it up from the store across the street, Woori Market, since I had an evening event. They provided plates, utensils, and labels for the food as well. I first learned about this catering service from another event I attended, and I decided to have them cater for own of my own events. I chose Kimchi, Seasoned Broccoli, Veggie Japchae, Seafood & Green Onion Pancakes, BBQ Short Rib, and Korean style Popcorn Chicken as our catering dishes. They were very accommodating when I wanted to add/remove certain items to fit the number of people and budget for my event. Once the order was finalized, picking up the food was also quite easy. We had a positive experience catering food from Kitchen Woori for my daughter's first birthday in 2023, so we decided to cater from them again for my son's first birthday. However, this time our experience was quite disappointing compared to the first time. The popcorn chicken was hard and dry, the bulgogi had a gamy taste, and the japchae was soggy. The Food When my wife and I were looking for catering, we checked several options. Based on the presentation and food variety, we decided to go with Kitchen Woori, and we are very glad we did! We looked through their extensive menu, and selected the item we wanted. But we wanted to reach out to them to see if they had any recommendations. We finalized our order with - House Salad - Tri Color Rice Balls (Tuna, Beef, Spam) - Japchae - Fishcake Gimbap - Beef Bulgogi - Korean Popcorn Chicken (Spicy, Sweet and Sour) - Seafood and Green Onion Pancake - Garlic Butter Shrimp - Sliced Pork Shank (Jokbal) All the food was very delicious, and all our friends really enjoyed it! Their Tri Color Rice Balls were quite unique with the different taste of Tuna, Beef, and Spam. I also quite like their Popcorn Chicken and Garlic Butter Shrimp. But the favorite among friends was the Sliced Pork Shank. It was well flavored and tender. The Miscellaneous Kitchen Woori was very communicative in ensuring the catering order was well prepared. They also provide extra service such as Set Up & Food Runner, which we opted for. I think the service was well worth it. The staff and service was very professional and on time for the set up. After the service, they also will tear down the set up, and provide containers for the leftover food. They were also very helpful in reconfiguring the food arrangement when needed (we were very thankful for that)! I had such a great experience ordering catering from Kitchen Woori! I had ordered several large trays for my daughter's birthday and the food was amazing. The trays were SO much bigger than expected-- so glad I bought take-out containers for everyone to bring extra food home lol. Communication via email was great and Mary was always very quick to answer any questions. They delivered to my event space in the Peninsula which did cost a fee, but really saved us the time to set up everything else. Mary called me when they arrived and they were in & out within 10 minutes! I had no idea they also provided tongs for serving, plates, and chopsticks. In the early '00s, when our kids were going to Claire Lillienthal Korean Immersion School, Woori-Chip across the street was the choice of contrarian parents who preferred the kimchi to that at First Korean Market, our usual go-to spot. I was interested when they opened a restaurant but the menu didn't inspire me to forsake my usual (Brothers'). But with the takeout lunch combos, and streetwise tables to enjoy them, Kitchen Woori has found their sweet spot. My spicy pork was hot, generous and well flavored and came with 4 panchan, rice and a bonus portion of japjae plus a package of kim (dried seaweed for snacking). Really hit the spot on a perfect spring day and the japjae will become my dinner. Service is friendly and efficient and you can also buy prepackaged dishes from the cooler next to the cashier where you order. We've been regulars at Woori Market (across the street) for some time now. And we've had some of their to go food options, which are made here. This was our first time going directly to Kitchen Woori. We tried the Japchae with tofu and the Beef Bimbimbop. The japchae was tasty, with glass noodles, mushrooms, red peppers, and some other veggies tossed in. The tofu had been marinated in some savory sauce and had a lightly crisp/firm texture. It was a huge portion and hit the spot for me. The bimbimbop had marinated beef that was a little sweeter than we'd like. Other than that, the veggies included were fresh and included a nice variety. They also threw in some banchan with our dishes, our favorites were the kimchi and spicy fishcakes. And a free kimchi pancake was included, which was a bit soggy but it was a nice gesture from the restaurant. Other things to note about Woori Kitchen- their hours are 10-3, so mostly a to go lunch place. There's 1 table inside but that's the only seating here. We took our food up to Alta Plaza park, which is just 5 or so blocks north. Oh and if you happen to be nearby and they are closed, you might be able to find some premade food from here at the grocery store across the street (but it won't be as fresh as if you got it here, of course). Overall, we feel this is the best Korean fast food/to go in the neighborhood. We're looking forward to coming back and trying more things (lots of great vegetarian options!). read more

I come here for their tteokboki, onigiri, and their doshirak (lunch plates). They make the food for the woori market across the street. I usually come here and take it to go to the park. They serve different types of doshirak with pork, beef, spicy pork, etc. i just really enjoy their tuna and kimchi onigiri. You can also order kimbap here, but you might as well get that at the market since there's no wait to get it made. They also sell banchan if you want to buy it and eat later at home.
