I was very excited to try this place due to its charming look, but was pretty disappointed after ordering. The sandwiches were $12 each, and tasted like microwaved gas station sandwiches. Really expensive for something that isn't freshly made. The croissant was hard on the corners. We did enjoy the huckleberry bar though. Wilcoxson's Ice Cream (Montana-made) and real Espresso in West Yellowstone? Yes! We enjoyed stopping here after a full day exploring the north loop. Husband scratched his caffeine itch with a single shot of espresso and we both enjoyed ice cream. Moose tracks for him and Huckleberry for me. The workers are friendly and fun. Delicious coffee and delicious huckleberry ice cream. Conveniently located in the corner too. Their huckleberry infused coffee is absolutely to die for. We also got the huckleberry ice cream and oh boy it was amazing. One scoop was too much as their portions are huge. The service tbh was best in the afternoon than in the morning. The line gets long but moves quickly. You have to take it to go as there is no place to sit down. It gets noisy as they're located in a busy area. This place has rave reviews for a reason! After leaving the National Park this was a wonderful place to stop for a cold treat on a hot summer day. We all had to try the Huckleberry ice cream and it was delicious! Staff was quick and friendly. Seating is limited outside so if you don't mind window shopping it's a great location to grab a treat and cruise the local shops while you eat. read more

My husband and my two kids wanted ice cream and a latte. My kids each had one sample and they each ordered a two scoop ice cream. My husband and I were also going to order ice cream and an espresso drink, but she informed me that there was a two sample limit even though we had four people with us and refused to give us a sample! Seriously? So my husband and I went to Haagen Daas instead which was wonderful and better quality. We were obviously a total inconvenience for her even though there were NO other customers. My husband asked her for an extra spoon, and she rolled her eyes at him and reluctantly gave him one. It's rare that I meet people who are this rude to a paying customer! Delicious & HUGE!! I love this place! I wish I discovered it sooner. (We had tried few other places in this area and they were super expensive and icy tasting.) The ice cream here is fluffy, creamy and does not have the freezer burn taste that we experienced elsewhere. There was always a line here too and now I understand why. The line doesn't go too quick either so you might have to wait some time but it's worth it. If you are an ice cream lover, skip Haagen-Daz and the other ice cream shops - come here! You won't regret it!! Unfortunately, I discovered this place my last day here, and have tried a different ice cream shop every night we've been in Yellowstone, was going to give up on the ice cream in this town until I stopped here -- true ice cream lover here (Haha)! Ordered a scoop of huckleberry ice cream in a standard cone. It was sweet, tart, and yummy. The scoop sizes are large, think of two scoops from a place like Baskin Robbins. It's a wonderful value and a must try when in town. Also ordered a chocolate shake extra thick and the staff certainly delivered. It was just how I hide it would be. It stands on the corner of the street and the line was approximately 15 minutes to order, but all-in-all it is a 4 star experience all the way. read more

A must stop on your way into Yellowstone. Had the banana bread and huckleberry bar as well as a latte. All were so delicious they didn't last long enough for me to take a pic except for the bar. Coffee was decent - not amazing - but good. I asked what roast it was and they couldn't tell me. We went with a scone and banana bread - both baked fresh that am. Banana bread was amazing. Scone was more biscuit-y than I prefer but fresh and moist. I had an iced espresso and my husband had the fresh drip coffee. Don't go if you're going for coffee. I went based on all the great reviews but it was one of the worst coffees I've ever had (and same for my dad)... And I don't say that lightly. I've only not been able to drink a coffee one other time in my life. We both got different things (iced almond milk latte + normal latte). Couldn't drink it. I love trying new coffee places out when traveling so this was incredibly disappointing. Only reason for 2 stars vs 1 is that the girl working was nice. read more

Super sweet owner operating this small family owned coffee shop. It is mainly take out, with some tables outside, no inside seating. We needed some caffeine before trekking back south home to SoCal. We saw this place walking back to the parking lot. I saw they offered a breakfast burrito for $5. It is made with eggs, cheese, and sausage. Packets of salsa if you need some spice. It hit the spot perfectly for our drive home. They do close for the winter as it is a business operating mainly outside and we heard West Yellowstone gets tons of snow. I visited the espresso west on Gibbons Ave, down the street from the Fox's Den campground. Great little location with a cozy deck. The first visit I had a sugar cookie and caramel mocha. The cookie was huge and chewy, exactly how a sugar cookie should be. My mocha was a little bitter, I think they left the caramel out. Second visit the caramel mocha was excellent. My husband had an iced vanilla latte and the breakfast sandwich. He enjoyed both. read more

The huckleberry shake was very well loved by the whole group . The Mochas and Frappes were good as well . Reasonable prices and good portions . We got a huge scoops of huckleberry ice cream and chocolate mint. I also got a chai latte... I was expecting this place to be really good based on other reviewer's. But beyond how big those scoops of ice cream the taste fell flat. Jackson hole had way better huckleberry tasting ice cream. There was no flavor, just a color of purple. It had berries but for some reason the flavor really didn't come through in the ice cream. When I asked for extra pumps of chai syrup, the cashier told me that it was a pre-mix but it was really good. It wasn't, it was really weak. I definitely wouldn't come back here unfortunately. After reading so many great reviews I opted to stop by for a vanilla late and honestly it wasn't up to par with my liking. I can say that from all the coffee I had in the area this was the best one but it still wasn't good if you what I mean. I really wanted to like it because people who work here were so friendly though. I did return for their banana bread which was delicious. Fun place to get some great ice cream. The flavors change every day and we may have gone there 3 times while we were in west Yellowstone.
