We filled out the paperwork that night and Bob had us a cart by 10a.m. the next morning. The cart was an electric Revo cart. On our second day, I ended up thinking I let the battery go dead, Bob was quick to respond /come and charge it using a generator. But after all it was not dead but 75% charge left in battery. Yet, it does not happen very often. My wife and I just booked a House in Destin for mid-October. I wanted a golf cart. By the way, I used to live in Destin so I knew, the Golf Cart was very important. I called two places. The second was Beach Better Golf Cart Rentals. I got a message however it said I could text them on that number. I did and got a reply back in less then two minutes. The prices were more then reasonable and I could take care of the entire transaction online. Now for the rest of the story!!!! The home we rented is one of my personal friends. I asked him which Golf Cart rental place he uses. He said, "None". The home comes with a six passenger golf cart. So I did not have to rent a golf cart after all. BUT, when I do and that will happen, this is the ONLY place I will consider. The world needs to remember that we clients just want professionalism and prompt communication. That's where I lost trust with this company. While they were always responsive, be aware of the way they do financing. For one, they apply a $250 "documentation" fee which is absolute fat for them. I asked about it and was told it is to pay for 2 people to deal with the DMV but we were not buying this cart for driving on the street - so who is dealing with the DMV and why am I paying for that? The financing is borderline fraud - we were told we could get 2 years zero percent financing. Their website reflects this through STSAR EV but they claim you need to pay $475 up front for that financing, so they are essentially charging you for financing even though they claim on their website it is zero down 0% interest. This is fraudulent and will be referred to Florida's attorney general. The website misrepresents the financing - this is clearly a back door money grab. I asked about this initially and was told it's normal. When I confronted the salesperson about it he turned combative. I lost trust in this place though the initial sales service was very good. The salesperson told me he was a stand-up guy. Buyer beware.

They advertise together and are in the same building, so I suspect it's the same owner. But I could be wrong. But a successful business must meet a real want/need too. And Reef Beach Services and Rental/Under the Sea Ice Cream seems to do that. They have most of the stuff you want and need for your idyllic beachin - burgers, hotdogs, ice cream, ice, boards, chairs, bikes, golf carts, and more. Horizontal diversification perhaps! Most other places in this area are more narrow in their range of offerings. For example, Big Daddy's is just bikes. Pecan Jack's is just sweets and ice cream. Yolo is just bikes and boards. Under the Sea Ice Cream/Reef Beach Rentals and Services has it all, and when you are trying to maximize your beach day, that matters. Meeting your potential customers where they are! It works!
