It is so pleasant in this facility. They had bird decorations hanging from the ceiling which were so adorable. It was very open and spacious, no elbow to elbow with the other customers next to you. I was on this side of town and decided to stop in. It is very nice inside. I was greeted when I first walked in. I told him I needed a pedicure and my nails removed. He immediately took care of me. Took me to the massage chair to sit.The water was a perfect temperature. I was asked if I would like something to drink which was nice. The atmosphere was great and it is a nicer place than my previous nail shop. Definitely will be returning for another pedicure. Next time I think I will get a drink they serve frozen daiquiri and wine. read more

Been going on and off for a year now. The off part is because of poor quality work. This week I had a mani-pedi ( a 35 pedi, for what I got should have been a max 15) a kindergartner could have done a better job painting my toes. I'm pretty sure a lot had to do with old goopy nail polish, but they should have told me the polish I wanted was bad or opened up a new bottle. So no will not go back this time, soo done! read more

Nothing crazy just basic nails and they always do every well. **Plus you get complimentary Wine/soda The reason for the review: Sue While I was for some reason looking at the menu to only to select the deluxe pedi I get every time. I seen where they have eyelash extensions. I've always just gotten lash lifts from other eyelash studios because the one time I paid almost $300 for extensions my straight Native lashes were poking out and didn't curl with the lashes. The lady said "you would benefit from a lash lift before extensions." I never went back there. The menu at Essie says $40.00 and I was scared because of the phrase "you get what you pay for" well me being a bargain shopper I decided to go ahead and get service done. I asked Sue for the most natural looking lashes. Let me tell you, Sue loves her job. I told her of my concerns from the previous time and she ensured I would not need a lash lift. She took the time to actually listen and I'm so impressed. However, when I went to pay my total was 108.00 with the Monday -Thursday discount. I didn't argue because I've paid more and I was very pleased. I've been back 3 times since to get my fills every 2 weeks for $60.00. If you are hesitant don't be! I only wear a tinted moisturizer most of the time and everyone including my husband keeps assuming I have a full face of make up on. I absolutely love it! read more

They were SO sweet to my kiddo who got her first mani pedi. She got to sit in a cute chair, just her size. They treated her like a princess. Her nails are even now and she giggled the whole time through the massage. I also received a pedicure that was perfection. She did my toes regular polish, but then did a dip manicure. I absolutely love this nail salon. I don't even dare go anywhere else. They always give me exactly what I want in my nails. To go into more detail, every single person that works here is highly skilled in nail art. The color selection is massive, and they cover all the bases on nails. From acrylic, gel, dip, and shellac, they have it all. Everyone is always so nice and I always get offered something to drink. The parking is a little iffy sometimes due to it being in a strip mall, but that doesn't bother me at all. Also, they speak amazing English here and I am always able to communicate exactly what I am looking for in my nails. You know how sometimes when you get your nails done, your fingers are sore the next day? Typically because the nail tech was a little bit rough? That never happens here. My nails always feel perfect the minute I walk out the door. Also, if you break a nail, they are always happy to fix it for you without an extra charge. Their prices are really reasonable too. What a great nail salon! My sister and I were both in desperate need of a manicure while I was in town visiting and we decided to try this place out. I called about an hour ahead to make sure they weren't busy and they told us it wouldn't be a problem to accommodate us when we came in. Upon arrival, we were immediately shown to a seat and given time to choose between their abundance of nail colors. A gentleman started working on my sister's nails first and offered us both waters. He was really nice and let me know that it would be a bit of a wait until someone would be available to start my nails, since three people were off that day. I appreciated that he let me know ahead of time and was apologetic about it. I waited about 10 minutes before a manicurist came over. She was super sweet and my sister and I enjoyed talking with both of them. It was $30 for each of our gel manicures and we loved how they turned out. Included in our manicure was a very interesting aspect that neither of us had ever seen or even knew about. When we were done with the polish and lotion, they asked us to walk over to the sink where they had a container full of warm wax (or something?). We dipped our hands in it three times and they put a little plastic bag over our hands and we sat back in our seats. The wax was left to sit for about a minute and then they peeled it off. It was the strangest thing to see, but it left our hands so smooth! Definitely a new experience for us at a nail salon. They have a stamp card that they gave us on our way out. I can't recall the details of the stamp card, but it's pretty cool that they have a reward system! Definitely recommend this place for their super friendly staff and their gel manicures for a good price! read more

If I could give no stars I would. In the past I used to love coming here because the service was nice and I loved how my nails came out. This time that wasn't the case. My nails literally look like shit, the woman I had kept trying to change my mind of what I wanted, told me my nails looked ugly because I didn't want fake nails, had the worst attitude and kept scratching me every time she messed up painting my nails. I think the worst part of all was I asked for RED nail polish and said I wanted the same color as my friend. Did I get red? Nope, it's pink and I have nail polish all over skin. I also asked for gel on my fingernails and got regular polish on both my toes and fingernails. My friend got TONS of water sprayed at her almost immediately after she sat down for her pedicure and the technician laughed at her. Didn't apologize or anything. No discounts or anything we're given and she repeatedly had to be told what my friend wanted. I should add that my friends pants were completely wet and so was the chair that they continued to make her seat in. Also as we were about to leave, the entire salon started smelling like pot and another lady in the front constantly was yelling for David. I saw the negative reviews about this place and didn't want to judge a book by its reviews so I figured I'd give it a go. Well, let's just say it was Fabulous! Great service, I called ahead for 4 adults and a child and they were able to immediately get us seated. The massage chairs are legit, get pressure and customized to your back, the arm pressure was my favorite. I got the herbal spa pedicure which came with a neck warmer and hot stone massage, it was great. My technician was very polite and attentive. I did get offered a drink which was what someone was complaining they didn't get but maybe it came with the higher service I paid for or something. Went here on a recommendation. Im sure some people love this place, but for dip nails, I won't be back. Quality was average at best. My tech was more interested in what was going on in the salon than my nails. Friendliness was poor. Yes the technicians are kind but the customer service is lacking. Please don't tell me glitter is "hotter" or harder to take off. I know better. You're burning my nails. Most importantly I was charged a $5 fee because I had my dip nails done at a different salon and that's what they charge to take mine off. What?!? Are you kidding me?!? Now I'm wondering if solar or acrylic have the same fee since it's the same process. I went five days ago to have the dip nail polish removed and gel polish put on. I purposefully went by myself so I could have a little downtime, had headphones in both ears, and was ready to just sit for a while. No such luck! The woman complained to me about her husband, kid, and parents the whole time! I had to pay her to be her therapist! As people walked in, the guy was ever so rudely telling them they had to come back with no explanation unless they asked. Once I finally got out of there and got a good look at the most expensive set of gel nails I've ever had, I realized how horrible they were! I went back to see if they would fix it. The woman who was at the counter told me I would have to come back in an hour. When I returned I was gold to sit down and I'd be helped when someone could. I waited another 30 minutes before I was seated. Finally when a woman came to fix my nail she accused me of picking the polish off myself. I asked for a pedicure and ended up sitting in a chair where the tub kept breaking whether the jets didn't work or it drained water. They don't ask if you want your nails cut or filed then they are extremely rough and ends up feeling like your skin is peeling. I needed a last minute shellac manicure and I ended up here because it was close to my house. I called ahead of time and they said there was no wait. I walked in 10 minutes later and was greeted by a really friendly gentleman who directed me to a chair. My nail tech was quiet but polite. Everyone in there was nice and all the other customers seemed to be regular returning patrons, which is always a good sign. My shellac turned out nice, the manicure included just paint and a really short hand massage. She paid a lot of attention to making sure my cuticles were cut back and that the shape of my nails was nice. I didn't get any sort of crazy designs or colors so I got what I expected. Every customer who came in after me were offered drinks. When you google salons that offer wine, this one comes up. Welp... tried a new salon with a friend and was very unimpressed.... the pedicure was very good but when it came time for my fill, it wasn't smooth, it was ALL THE WAY down to my cuticle causing cuts and lifting, the powder was caked under my nail tips, and it was very uneven... I spent a total of $85 BEFORE tip (which I didn't think she deserved but she did do the work and I'm a pushover). So in total, I wasted $45 for the nails and had to come home and fix them anyways.... recommend for pedicures but not acrylics. read more
