I bought a Chevy Tahoe last week. Vance Young is a great salesman, he was very knowledgeable and helpful!

Your team declared there was no noise, then upon discussion in person there is a noise but it's normal. After an in person in depth discussion with Travis he witnessed it stop after approximately 5 minutes of running which indicates clearly an exhaust seal warming up and sealing once hot enough or some sort of manifold issue. He admitted he did not even put my truck on a lift after having it all day, "apologized" and asked I return it the next morning so he could do so. I returned it the next morning thinking it's gonna get fixed, only to be told by Tony Batson via phone that nothing was found wrong and what do I want them to do throw parts at it? He also declared that "I was the problem" simply because I informed michelle upon drop off that it was insulting that the truck was there all day and hadn't even been put on a lift to properly diagnose. Instead of actually fixing the issue that Travis clearly noted while in person...I yet again get told nothing wrong with it and an unwarranted "you are the problem" bonus psychology evaluation from Tony Batson....I have notified the owners of Yemm and will provide negative feedback for any and all who wish to do business with YEMM....as this was all avoidable had the service department actually not kept my truck all day to not even put it on a lift and then ask me to return it knowing the problem and still not fixing the issue after clearly knowing it is an exhaust leak of some sort...Tony intentionally berating and or chastising me over the phone...you picked a real winner in Tony, etc Michelle being polite and courteous is about the only positive i have currently with this dealership. Sales isn't any better, I tried to buy a Truck there yet they wouldn't negotiate even so much as $1.00, so I took my money elsewhere. Ended up spending over 135k for two vehicles elsewhere when I wanted to support my local dealership originally. When you fail to negotiate at all is when I cannot entertain spending money with you. I have given this dealership multiple opportunities with trades and potential sales but each time their trade in offers are laughable at best, and recently failed to do any negotiating whatsoever! Sell privately like I did, I guarantee close to double or even triple what Yemm offers. They are so far apart from even a generic KBB trade in value(s) Apparently if you don't buy your vehicle from them, they don't want or prefer your business with the servicing of vehicle(s) either.

READ THIS REVIEW!! I…read morepurchased a vehicle from Galesburg Ford. This has been the worst experience of my life. Their website says "Ford of Galesburg ALWAYS puts customers first"....This has been far from the truth. Let me explain my nightmare. I purchased the vehicle, was on my way home and was scrolling through all of the dash information...the oil was at 10% (Talked an employee of mine that bought a car from them 2 weeks prior, they did the same thing to him.). I have the vehicle for 4 days (drove it once after I bought it and left it in the garage for 3 days), service engine light comes on. Text the salesman that I dealt with and told him that I shouldn't have to be stuck with that bill. He said we can't get you in for 3 days, I told him that's fine since I thought it was something minor. Fast forward 5 hours, the car completely lost power on the highway with for my wife and 3 children. Thankfully she was able to fight the vehicle to the side of the road and she called me to pick her up. Got there and the vehicle had completely lost power and we couldn't even put the windows up. I got with the dealership and said it didn't make it until Friday like they thought it would and it broke down on the side of the highway. They told me they would bring me a loaner car and would have it towed that night. They even stopped by it after dropping me off the loaner car car to see what they could find out with it. Fast forward to the next day. My wife drove my truck to town to take the kids to the library and noticed that the vehicle was still sitting on the side of the road....to top it off, it was pouring down rain for 4 hours.....they left it sitting on the side of the road knowing the windows were down. I stopped by the dealership on my lunch break and told them that was absolutely unacceptable. Their Sales Manager came out and said "I'm sorry, our communication fell through". All of the electrical components are now compromised and all they said they can do is detail it for me after they get it back from the mechanical department. That's not how excessive water damage works, you can't just detail it out. That was 2.5 weeks ago, it still isn't fixed or detailed. I still have the loaner car. Talked to the Jeep dealership they had the car towed to in order to diagnose the issue. It was a recall for a Fuel Pump. They stated that it had an open recall for a position sensor when I bought it and that was it. It blew up and sent debris through the fuel system. The whole fuel system is now compromised and Jeep said that they won't know if it's fixable until they put the fuel pump on and try to start it. When I talked to the Jeep dealership, they said that it had 2 open recalls, not just the 1 Ford of Galesburg told me about. 2.5 weeks after not having it, I called and talked to the Sales Manager, he said there is nothing he can do at this point. I even offered to buy a more expensive Ford Explorer that cost $10K more, but he said they can't but the vehicle back and I would need to trade it in and take their used car price for it...my salesman friend from far away said that they can buy it back for what I paid for it, they just don't want to eat the bill. We will see if the Fuel Pump or the engine is blown, I'm within the Illinois buy back limit and they will have to give me what I paid for it. I'll gladly take my money elsewhere since they were no help and didn't want to make it right. Hard working Americans shouldn't have to deal with shady dealerships like this. I'm writing this review to try and save YOU a headache or money down the road. Do yourself a favor and take your money somewhere else.
