They were able to move our furniture from our 2nd story apartment to another home 15 minutes away within 3 hours. The only thing is that there was a large box of valuable trading cards that was damaged in the transportation process. We were compensated for it. We had Voyage load up our Penske for a move to Dallas on 9-9-19. Our new house was closing the next day, so I wanted 4 guys to get the job done fast as we wanted to be on the road by 6PM. Jarod seemed nice and knowledgeable. The 4 movers arrived an hour late at 10:30AM. First they began loading all the boxes in the truck. two of the young guys said it was their first day on the job...oops... They weren't coordinated and spent a lot of time standing around telling jokes. We thought they would have one guy in the truck, one guy preparing furniture, two loading, just like previous movers had done. NOPE. So all the boxes got loaded in nice and tight. Other movers always place in bulky furniture then filled in boxes around it. NOPE. I noticed they started standing up our expensive wood furniture on the floor with no wrapping. I asked why they werent using any pads like other movers so they laughed and just tossed the pads on the ground. I had to go and get a trailer, when I came back I saw wood leaning against wood. They stood up metal racks next to my antique bed. There was enormous gaps everywhere as all the boxes were already stacked in the front. When we got to Dallas the local movers asked if we packed the truck ourselves. They said it was the worst job they had ever seen. The inexperienced Voyage youth had broken my table, the metal stands shifted and gouged deeply into the bed frame. We have a broken box spring, my custom desk is gouged, the mattress covers and plastic wrapping I had purchased were unused and tossed under an end table. Some of the fragile boxes were UNDER heavy boxes. When I moved to ELP a 26ft Penske and a 12ft Uhaul trailer fit everything. Now due to the poor packing and all the enormous gaps in my furniture in the back half of the truck, I had to rent a storage space to put the rest of my things. Jarod wanted to charge me for some straps when I had my own straps and pads laying unused on the ground. He I sent him photos and he relinquished and gave my a discount. Jarod also said he was'nt responsible for any damage because they weren't moving us and only loaded up the truck and trailer. So it took these four guys 8 hrs and still wern't done with our single level home. The real movers in Dallas had 3 guys totally unload everything in 4 hrs into a TWO story home. Now we keep noticing more and more of our rather expensive things damaged. If you value your things. DO NOT USE these inexperienced day laborers. It was a nightmare. Thousands of $$ in damage!!! Our furniture was moved cross country and stored by Voyage Moving. We enjoyed working with Jarod and his crews. THEN we got our furniture! We understand a few things can be injured; we've moved 12 other times, including cross country moves. Voyage Moving repacked boxes that they had packed WITH other customers boxes and the finality is we never did get all of our own back, although we reported missing things for weeks as we unpacked. We discovered a half empty can of soda laying on our printer in one box, in another box a can of black paint spilled over my unwrapped professional artist brushes, several rips in 3 chairs, an expensive vacuum broken, our paper shredder crushed, an air pump broken, a solid stone custom sculpture missing parts, MANY other items broken, etc., etc. Every piece of wood furniture was scratched, and our excellent condition upholstered pieces were not wrapped and were dragged, upholstery down, across a filthy delivery truck, ending up VERY dirty. Voyage did rectify the wood furniture scratches and dirty upholstery. Perhaps if you are moving a short distance and your things can be returned to you that same day, Voyage Moving would be good to use and very reasonably priced. We have found Voyage Moving to be the biggest nightmare ever. read more

They ruined our couch ! The brother of the owner drug across the railing of the stairs our off white fabric couch and the paint which is reddish orange is all over back and the sides of couch and also got torn on the back and sides and bottom because put on angeled stairs to rest because he said it was heavy. Waiting to see how he can fix a couch that is a set and is torn! My husband had to help other guy to finish moving because the owners brother left after that incident! And we were still charged 90.00!! After all that! We are looking at our options for resolving this matter to the fullist! read more

We hired this moving company to pack our family belongings into a moving truck. They seemed friendly enough and gave the impression they would do a great job. The day of the move, everything seemed to be going well, until the owner left and his crew remained behind to finish the job. I was already out of state in my new job and so my wife was present the day of the move. She was inside the house observing, not realizing that the loaders were just throwing our belongings into the truck without care. They were negligent and unconcerned about the quality of work they were performing. As I understand there was one kid (18 or 19 years old) who was one of the loaders and constantly complaining that he was there to begin with, and just wanted to go home. They placed heavy objects on top of fragile furnishings. I was not very happy about the destruction and damage caused. I reached out to the owner, and was given some legal mumbo jumbo and not their responsibility. I ended up paying close to $1000 to replace and repair our belongings. Some I just could not replace, which makes me angry and felt taken advantage of. They started off good, but without supervision the work quality went straight down. Never would I have thought this would happen to me. As I have move multiple times in the past without complaint. Maybe there were a few nicks and scratches but nothing beyond that and easily fixed. I hope they get there just reward in destroying our family treasures. read more
