My Husband and I stumbled upon an estate sale this past Friday. The company that managed this sale seemed to be organized and professional, at first. Let me warn you, that you are treated with very little respect upon entry. First of all, have you ever had your purse taken away and stored while you shop? Yes. They ask that your purse be dropped into a bin for safekeeping while you shop. It appears that they fear the shoplifters. Oh, let me back up one notch. These people have you wait outside and have you come in to shop a few at a time. There are signs posted everywhere regarding their rules. One specifically stated that if you have a child with you (12 years old and younger) that you must hold his/her hand the entire time you are shopping. Really? 12 years old? How ignorant is that? Clearly these people have no regard for potential customers. After reading the horrible reviews here on Yelp, I'm going to assume that the lady we encountered was Beverly. It smells of her. This woman treated a customer in front of us, with the utmost disrespect that only she knows how. A young man with his 5 year old, Hispanic, attempting to make a purchase--- wow! She was so rude. She claimed that his son was scratching up all the furniture with a tin canned piggy bank, shaped like a train. We watched her claw into this young man, in utter disbelief. All the while the young man showing complete and total calm and politeness. She was beyond unprofessional and needs to understand, that her attitude and actions will not be tolerated by customers. Yes, I agree, that we are probably nobody to her when we walk into the homes she represents. However, if you are planning an estate sale, please reconsider your choice of this company. We were given a receipt totaling $12 worth of merchandise. The gentleman in the garage area suggested we could pay $10 as we are retired military and he was humble enough to offer us that $2 discount. He said to mention it to Beverly when we checked out. Upon approaching checkout, we watched her rip into the young Hispanic man over his son. Then she ripped into us over the $2 discount we were told to ask for. LOL! It was your very own rep that suggested the discount. We didn't care either way. Trust me, we had the $12! Again, I say, " shame on this woman," for her lack of professionalism and common courtesy. I clearly stood up for the young man as I left my goods at her table and walked out. Please, don't let her talk to you in the manner she is used to. I told her that if she ever talked to my Kid the way she did this man's kid, I would knock her out. Seriously, someone had to put her in her place. I'm so glad I did. Please please please.... look elsewhere, when hiring an estate sale company. If she can treat us like she did, what else is she capable of? Horrible experience and she is the winner of all the bad experiences we have EVER had. Grand prize goes to this company for rudeness and meanness. Fire them, before you hire them. Don't let them steal your dignity by making you wait in ridiculous lines and taking your purse from you upon check in. That should've been my clue to exit right away!!!! Shame on this company!!!! The African woman that follows you around with her high pressure sales pitch! Ha ha ha .... what in the world is wrong with these people?!?! What a joke. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!! OMG...where to start! Just don't. Don't hire these crooks. I started a "hold" pile at their hold table, only to come back and find they had removed price tags and replaced them with higher prices ($2-$5 here and there, hoping I wouldn't notice). Another shopper told me this had happened to her, too. If they rip off buyers, imagine what they do to the people hiring them to do the sale. They really need 1/2 a star or even a negative star to rate loser business' like this one. read more

Extremely rude and unprofessional. I have been going to Estate sales for 50 years and these people are in the bottom three of companies providing this service. Some items in pictures are not at the sale when the doors open. That is the sign of early sales or of stripping merchandise from the sale. They treat shoppers like dirt. They will open late, only let a few in at a time, even when some do finally come out they wait to let more in. God forbid if a woman walks in with a purse. They act like every woman with a purse is a thief and want them to throw their purse in an unsecured box in front of their table where someone could easily walk away with one or more purses. Items are overpriced, probably to make up for what was taken out of the sale, or are not priced. The worst part is the person at the check out table. She is rude, obnoxious, snobby, and could care less that people walk out of her sale. She likes to point out to everyone how she is better than everyone else. read more

I'm writing this review as a customer going in to look and possibly purchase something from the sale. And the sale was in Hemet First thing when I walked in was a lady loudly telling me that I must check in my purse. Not too happy about that. Second, she tells my husband that they charge sales tax on all sales. My husband says no that's not right. WHY WOULD YOU CHARGE SALES TAX ON A USED ITEM WHEN THE PERSON WHO BOUGHT IT NEW ALREADY PAID SALES TAX ON THE VERY SAME ITEM???? AND IN MOST CASES THE OWNER OF THE ITEM IS NOT MAKING A PROFIT ON THE SALE, MOST LIKELY THEY ARE SELLING IT AT A LOSS, SO NO CAPITAL GAINS IN THE SALE. I think that they are getting a commission on total sales and collecting sales tax is just one way to boost sales, a shady business practice in my opinion. Also it's not a retail store that is open every day, It's usually a weekend sale. So these people might want to check with the tax board on the collection of sales tax for Estate Sales. Third, the question, are you going upstairs? Because if you are, you will need to be escorted. Umm, I haven't even gotten 10 steps from the door, and I didn't know that the sale was upstairs too. No, not planning to go upstairs. And it seems that they were relieved that they didn't need to escort me up there. Fourth, their long list of their rules. And the attitude that goes with it. It's like they don't trust anyone who walks in the door. All I really wanted was to look around and maybe find a good deal. I understand that they are trying to make sure that they get the most for the people who allow them to do the sales, but they are turning people off. The woman gives me a little round number tag, one for me one for my purse and sets it in a basket. My husband stands next to the table with the basket and the purse while I venture off to look around. One quick look around, and there is nothing that I really want to buy so I walk back to the table and hand the woman my little tag for my purse. She hesitates, I can see my purse in there and only one other purse. I want to help her by telling her which purse is mine and she acts like I'm trying to claim a purse that isn't mine. So I patiently wait for her to figure it out. Now I have my purse and I'm outta there. NOT EVER GOING TO ANOTHER ONE OF THEIR SALES AGAIN. My elderly Mother had a stroke which suddenly made her dementia so bad she could no longer live on her own. And she did not have the money for placement in a memory care facility so we had to sell her property. The first step was cleaning out her house, But I did not have the time to do it, both working and carrying for her. So Jena and Renee came to help from Estate Sales made Easy. They did a fabulous job, got rid of everything and cleaned up afterwards. They where always available, answered questions, communicated by text through the whole process. Just finished our sale with Estate Sales Made Easy. We were so pleased with the outcome! What an amazing team of workers! They came in like a whirlwind, cleaning out closets, cupboards, drawers, rearranging furniture, and completely organizing our 26 years of accumulated "stuff". The house and garage were staged in 3 days, then the sale was held the following 4 days. Not only were they hard working and extremely courteous, but we were even able to stay in our home during the process. (Not many companies allow that.) They had great signs and internet advertising. Waited about 1/2 hour to get into estate sale. Given specific directions as to what to do/how to do it/etc. Tremendous amount of personal items (i.e.: purses and shoes) still w/ original price tags. Told price was 1/2 the price of original tag even if the item was say 5 years old. Told absolutely no negotiation on the prices. Told some items were antiques when the items obviously were purchased w/in the last few years --- store stickers still visible. Staff mingling about very nice...seemed a little flustered though---did not have ability to give you a price. Tad time consuming to have price check a good 50% of the items for sale. read more

Yikes! Twice I found jewelry at her sales. Each time I went to purchase what I had found (on the for sale table, marked with a price I was willing to pay), the lady wouldn't sell them to me because they were real. I knew the necklaces were marked 925, but because of that she said she couldn't sell them to me. This happened twice, both times the items were real (925 and 14K). Clearly, without a shadow of a doubt, she kept them for herself. What else would she be doing with real jewelry at a sale she is hosting if not selling them to paying customers who waited an hour to get in? If it wasn't for sale, then it shouldn't be on a sale table. If it is, she has to honor her error. She is hired to sell people's things for them. It is not her jewelry in the first place, so why would she not sell it to a paying customer? I will never attend another Estate Sales Made Easy ever again on the fact that she cherry-picks good items for herself. read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We live out of state and my cousin lived in Menifee. We were in charge of the contents in her home. After she passed my hubby searched for estate companies and ended up contracting with Estate Sales Made Easy. Renee & Jana met us at the property and we instantly felt at ease. The sale took place 2 weeks later. These two women were the kindest, honest, helpful & most wonderful people you could EVER deal with! The sale went as smooth as can be. I have gone to several of there sales the service is ok nothing special. I do like the sales ladies and the men that work for the owner they were very helpful. THE OWNER is very very rude and disrespectful toward the clients belongs for the sale. I had purchased over $450 worth of furniture there were 5 pieces I couldn't pick up until the next day when I had my trailer. When I arrive the next day y furniture was outside close to the end of the driveway (nice), however the night before it had rained and The pieces got wet. I showed the owner of the things from the day before and then what they looked like after they got rained on. Horrible experience! This was the worst estate sale I have ever attended! All of the rules, the extremely rude owner, the inefficient staff and over priced items, left me feeling like an unwelcomed stranger rather than a potential customer who was there to make them money! The absolute worst though, was that many, many items were already sold before they even opened the doors because they allow purchases to be made online before the sale starts and they don't even place sold signs on the items. If you find an item you wish to purchase but wish to continue shopping, make sure to place the item on the "Hold" table or face the wrath of the rude, loud, obnoxious owner for not following her rules! No one should be made to feel intimidated by going to an estate sale! Stay away from sales by this unprofessional Company and don't let this owner ruin your day like she did mine! read more
