I've experienced firsthand sellers who were good at helping clients move estate items on to new homes, and I've had to deal with plenty of sellers that are positively unscrupulous and only out for lining their own pockets beyond the contract they agreed to with their client. Be very very careful when seeking out and hiring an estate sale company to do the hard work of selling your cherished estate after loved ones have passed. Believe you me, most estate sales folks fall into the latter group and those that SEEM to put up the most high end of events with lines and sign up lists and all that? They tend to be the very worst thieves of all! So why am I starting with all this so early in my review of BLAST ESTATE SALES? Well because they are the crème de la crème, nicest of the nice, and the most honest resellers in the game. Hands down! This small company consists of a married couple, "Nikki & Jeff," who work tirelessly and compliment one another perfectly! I've been to a dozen or so estate sales run by the lovely Nikki and her partner in life as well as business, Jeff, and those sales? Are indeed "a blast!" They truly are fun, with refreshments and cookies at the last one I attended. Each sale I've been to was well prepared by these two for a smooth and fun sale day that seems to garner good money and sales for the client while moving cherished items on to new owners, all of which were leaving with their purchases and a big smile. It's rare to find an estate sales company that understands the delicate and all important RELATIONSHIP between buyer and seller and Nikki and Jeff do right by all parties involved. She was a pleasant conversationalist and even better at helping you get an awesome deal. Blast prices their item reasonably. You will definitely find a lot of awesome deals, but do expect some high demands item to be priced competitively. 50% off is offered after 12 on the second day and you can still expect to find a deal worth bragging about. His staff was friendly and they definitely went above and beyond setting up my families home in a very short timeline. This was my first experience having to deal with managing an estate and I put my full trust in this company. My families home came with its own set up of issues, and Nick and his awesome team members definitely had their hands full but were able to navigate through it. ( Thanks guys!!) I got quotes from a couple different local estate companies and Canyon Estate was the most expensive for their services in comparison to other companies ( they received 55% and we got 45%) and they did charge us $1500 to stage and prep the house, but it was worth it to me since I was living out of state and they arranged everything for us from start to finish. I arrived about an hour before the estate sale ended and there were cars lined up and down the streets and the house was packed with people. We opted out of the final junk removal service since we wanted to save some money. Overall it was great experience during a stressful experience.
