Absolute horrible delivery service experience. Estes scheduled a delivery window of 12-3 only to call and cancel at 12:30. Ok fine, things happen. Rescheduled delivery for later that week. Have used them twice first time they lost half the load. They didn't seem to care. Someone called me and said they had the other half of my load and Estes wasn't doing anything about it. So I called Estes and they said they would get to it but weren't sure when. So I ended up driving a truck over to this other location and hauling the load back myself. The second time I saw that they had a one day delivery to a location I was shipping too. So I after some hassle with trying to pay for it. I dropped off at the terminal on Mon. morning about 10 am. On Tues. the tracking number said it was still at the same terminal. I called the receiving terminal and after 10 mins of checking I was told it missed the first truck out which goes out in the evening. But that it would be delivered on Wed. Wed. 7:30 pm comes around and the pallet is sitting in another terminal still not delivered. 3 days or more for a shipment that was listed for 1 day Can't give anything less than 1 star or I would read more

I had a package that was supposed to be delivered in one week. The package reached them from my supplier, but they didn't call me when it arrived to them. After two and a half weeks, I finally called them to schedule a time for them to drop off my package. We agreed on a date to deliver and they said they would call me to schedule a specific time. The date came, they never called. I called in the morning to get a time range, they said 9:15 am to 1:15 pm. It didn't arrive. I called again. "Oh sorry it will be delayed for an hour." 2:15 pm. Still hasn't arrived. I called again. "Oh sorry it will be delayed for another two hours." 4:15 pm. Still hasn't arrived. I am still waiting. How does this company stay in business? If I had a way to shut this business down I would. This is completely inexcusable. I did not know company's with customer service this bad existed. I have had some negative experiences with comcast, but honestly, they paled to this negative customer experience. I don't know how better to express how bad this was than saying, this makes me think that comcast is a wonderful company by comparison. If you can avoid this using Estes, do it. They will waste your time and provide a terrible customer experience. All I want is some transparency and honesty. read more

Just hope your order isnt being shipped with Estes, if it is then go ahead and add at least 5 extra days to the estimate originally provided, that way, when it is FINALLY delivered, you arent as upset. If you are thinking of calling them for any sort of information, also make sure to schedule roughly 30-45 minutes because thats going to be your hold time to reach someone. Oh, and dont be surprised if they are "behind" as an employee let me know that its "usually behind a day or so" Still waiting for my delivery, which is a week late today... I work with a company whose manufacturer uses Estes. We have more problems with Estes than any freight line we have ever used. We actually requested the manufacturer use any other method of shipment outside of Estes. They miss multiple delivery appointments. They have brought the wrong truck for pick ups multiple times, and were unable to pick up. They delay orders more than any other freight line. I have to deal with so many angry customers, and Estes customer service is little to no help. They once kept an order in their warehouse for FIVE DAYS without communication, leaving the customer to wonder where his order was. If you can avoid using Estes, then avoid it at all cost. I completely aware of how freight lines work and how times are not guaranteed, but Estes is the absolute worst about every aspect of their business. Estes is the epitome of terrible customer service, unreliable service, poor management, and unorganized planning. read more

Absolutely horrible. Had a piece of exercise equipment delivered from them. The box was secured to a pallet which they refused to remove. They also refused to bring the box up 4 steps to my front stoop. Left it at the bottom of the stairs on the sidewalk. The box and pallet were too heavy for me to move by myself so I had to "stand watch" over the box for 3 hours until someone came to help me move it. I live in Chicago - things left unattended in the middle of the side walk are stolen quickly. I've worked with many delivery services. Some will bring the delivery inside to a spot of your choosing. Some only bring it to the front door and then it's your responsibility. I've never had one refuse to bring the delivery to my front door. What a joke. read more

This is probably the worse truck line I've ever used. I've been scheduling trucks for 12 years and never had a worse line. I'm finally over this company! Every time they tell you they will p/u it could take up to 5 days for them to actually go by a p/u location. They also hold onto loads for days in the ending terminal until they finally deliver. They have ZERO customer service and honestly treat their customers with utter disrespect. I will NEVER use this line again. I hope they can fix their problems for the good honest paying customers out there but they have been the same for a long time. read more

I was told that my package would be arriving on July 27th between 8 AM and 6 PM. It was a pretty big package (a dresser for my son's nursery), and I wanted to be there when it arrived. I got several emails, some of which said that they would leave the package at the door, even if nobody was home, and some emails said that I would need to be there to sign for the package. Anyway, today is July 24th, and luckily, my boyfriend was home because they delivered this package 3 days early, after 6 PM. What if nobody was home? They would have just left a big package there on my front step? Also, when I checked the tracking information a few minutes ago, it isn't even updated to show that it has been delivered. Terrible our carpet ordered at Lowes a month ago was thru a 3rd party supplier and Estes as no tracking info other than Lowe's knowing is been waiting at a location in Newburgh (15mi away) for a week. We got one call from Estes confirming delivery nearly a week ago for next day delivery and never heard back. No number to call back. Lowes has been useless an doesn't take responsibility or care about service as they won't refund the $685 cost to us as long as it is is "in transit" Estes (a one star rated service) and Lowes are terrible overall and I encourage anyone reading to shops elsewhere and never use company's that don't care about good customer service and don't take responsibility. I would leave negative stars if possible. I have not had a worse experience with a delivery company. A large gift was ordered for my grandson thru Walmart. Estes was the delivery company. They didn't deliver on the day they were supposed to. The next day the large package was delivered in the middle of a neighbors driveway. The neighbor was nice enough to inform us it was there. When we contacted the company and they made lots of excuses as to why they could not come back and move the box. In the end we had to get a trailer on our own and pick up the box. But this was an expensive special gift and anything could have happened to it. No compensation was offered and all efforts to contact the management was unsuccessful. read more

First time having a home delivery with Estes and wanted to report how great of an experience we had. The items being delivered were large gym mirrors-- so large size, 240 lbs, and very fragile. We received a call to schedule delivery yesterday and received a confirmation email immediately after scheduling the window of 9am to 1pm. Before the delivery today, we received another email and a call when they were a few minutes away. Lacy and Shanique were very friendly and provided a great experience. Irresponsible, poor customer service, ridiculous delivery window! Criminal activity of the driver! He lied, about a young lady signed for my delivery. I was the only one at my home, I live alone and I am a disabled senior. He apparently forged my signature! I requested that my gazebo be left in the back of the house work site. I also left a note on the front door requesting delivery to back work site, they never rang either doorbell? I discovered later that they left it on the driveway which I could not see. Called and held on hold for over 30 minutes, and was ask; "what's your problem ma'am?" I left messages with both the office and the drivers numbers and never received any response? read more

The worst freight shipping company. Apparently the driver will not get paid unless you sign for your shipment. So they load your items to the back of the truck. They show you the item from the ground. Have you sign for your item. When sign, you are signing the item(s) are in good condition. Even if its damaged. Then they tell you to file a claim. Delivery Ok and was delivered on time. Purchased appliance with very easy access to inside the side gate. Easier access than the front door since the front door walk is narrow and has few step. He wanted to drop it outside the side gate and asked for extra money to just go few more yards to inside the gate. I told him to drop it where ever he wants. Got my dolly and pulled it in about 5 yards; wasn't too heavy or cumbersome to manage. Not accommodating at all and I was planning on tipping him ... probably more than he would've wanted to move the appliance few more yards ... did it myself and he got nothing! read more

As of writing this Estes has my shipment at their facility in Denver for 3 weeks. This is 3 weeks without a call from customer service letting me know what is happening, or to schedule a delivery. I have called multiple times and have had multiple people lie to me. First was Mr. Garner who told me the order was to be picked up by the delivery agent on 6/16 and that i would get a call in the next two days to schedule delivery (mind you i called them because they didn't call me). After not receiving the delivery call i called back and got another lady who was just as unprofessional and told me my order would ship that day, which again i soon found was a lie. I emailed Mr. Garner back on 6/22 letting him know i still have not received a call for delivery and i wanted to speak to a manager. He said "i have informed my supervisor and we are working on getting this out tomorrow.". WHAT...this is the guy that told me it would go on 6/16. Today is 6/28 and I still have not heard from a supervisor and have not received a call to schedule delivery. This company is a complete joke. I called the retailer i ordered from and cancelled my remaining purchase because i will not do business with a company that uses Estes to ship. This review is reference to the shipping. Do yourself a favor. Have it freight from HD delivered to your local store and have them deliver. Estes Trucking company is not fit for residential delivery. I ordered a $700 dollar chair from Target.com which was scheduled to be delivered by Estes. Initially, Target gave me a delivery window between 8/19 and 8/25. I received an email from Estes, stating that my delivery would be here 8/23 between the hours of 8 am and 6 pm. The package would be left outside my door and no signature was needed. I live in a second floor apartment and wanted to be home just to make sure that I received the delivery, not to mention, I was a bit suspicious since they didn't require a signature or anything for such a valuable piece of merchandise. As luck would have it, I was able to leave work to be home during their delivery time frame. From noon until 4 pm, there was no delivery. I just so happened to check my email at 5 pm, where I'd received an updated notice in regards to the scheduled delivery--"due to an unexpected transit delay," I wouldn't receive my delivery today, but rather on 8/24 again, between 8 am and 6 pm. WTF?!!!! I called Estes to see what the delay was. The CS rep was the least bit concerned and attempted to see what the issue was. I was placed on hold for a few minutes. When she returned back on the phone, I was told, "They have already left for the day." She was unsympathetic with my frustration and immediately hung up in my face! Now, I was really angry. I contacted Target.com and relayed the delivery information to their supervisor. He said he would contact Estes to see what the delay was and report back to me. Fifteen minutes later, I receive a call from Target. Turns out, the driver "was sick and was unable to complete the delivery." Sick?! "You're telling me that one sick driver has completely shut down their operation?" I yelled. Even from Target, I received no sympathy. I have never heard of a shipping company being completely handicapped by ONE driver's illness. I'd had enough of the b.s. that Estes was forcing me to endure and Target wasn't doing any better. I wouldn't be able to take off tomorrow in order to wait and hopefully receive my order. Finally, I simply said, "Keep the merchandise and give me back my money. I can't believe a company like Target would deal with such a third-rate shipping company." Now, I'm being forced to wait until Estes has returned to chair back to Target before I'll receive my money back, "You'll have to wait until we have the chair back before a refund will be issued," I was told. Estimated time: approximately 10 days. By now, I was full-on shouting at the Target rep: "So let me get this straight: Target has had my money for over two weeks now, Estes has the merchandise AND I have nothing! Tell me, who's getting screwed in this situation?" "I'm sorry, " was all I got from Target. This may be quite possibly the WORST shipping company that I've ever had to do business with. They delivered a table and it was broken. We sent before and after pictures and receipts to their claims division and our claim was denied. We even had insurance, And had the table professionally packaged in plywood. It is not fair that they broke our table, and are not willing to take responsibility. read more

Rudest people in customer service I have ever encountered and if you ordered a trainload of assholes and only the lady I dealt with showed up you couldn't claim to have been shortchanged. I'm sitting at an Estes employee's desk as I write this because I'm still waiting for them to find my a package that has been at this facility for four days. Anyone who thinks that this is a professional shipping company should witness the confusion that I am seeing here. There are four employees at desks and two warehouse workers, and it appears that the role of everyone here is to try to find lost packages. "Lost" = in one of their trucks in the warehouse. As mentioned earlier, my package arrived at this facility four days ago, and it was promptly left on the truck to rest. After seeing no movement for two days, I called to ask for delivery date. I was told that it was still on a trailer and would need to be loaded on delivery truck, possibly the following day. Since I read all the reviews, and had little faith in their abilities, I told them that I would pick it up myself the following day. So, I called this morning to let them know that I was on the way and was advised that my package was in a trailer and has not been located yet. They advised me that it should only take 45 minutes to find it. I asked them to start looking at that time because it would take me about that long to get there. So, I've been sitting at this employee's desk for 40 minutes now, writing a review while waiting for someone to locate a package that should have been at my home three days ago. I'm thinking about logging onto their computer and getting to work. I have no idea what I'm doing, so I should fit right in. I'll probably be employee of the month, because at least I will look professional. read more

Received an email from Estes to schedule my delivery. I picked the date and timeframe ( 10-2pm) then waited the entire day for a package that never arrived. I was required to sign for the package upon delivery. Called Estes at 4pm and was told, after being on hold for 15 minutes, that my package (patio furniture) was "still on the dock". Great. They must have an overloaded dock as, according to other complaints, it's the standard reply from Estes to annoyed customers. . They were unable to assure me of a date for another delivery and I informed them to return the package to where ever they picked it up from as I no longer wanted to deal with them. Luckily for Estes, Yelp limits the lowest rating to one star. read more

Called them to track my package, they transferred me to different company. Estes had no clue where my package was and couldn't even tell me. This is the least reliable company out there. I don't know what line of business they are in, because they certainly aren't in the shipping business. My first encounter with them was when I ordered flooring from the Home Depot website for installation in my new house. I relied on the estimated delivery date provided by the website and scheduled time-off of work to pick up the flooring from Home Depot and for installation. The date came, and the Home Depot rep. told me that the flooring hadn't arrived yet and that it was waiting on Estes to ship the flooring to the store. A day passed...then two days...then a week. Estes still had not delivered the flooring to the Home Depot location. I have to give it to Estes though -- they are good at "updating" the expected delivery date to make sure you know you are NOT going to get the goods on the day you thought you were going to get it. After waiting for ten days (after the original delivery day), I cancelled the order and bought the flooring from somewhere else. In other words, ESTES NEVER SENT THE FLOORING. My second encounter was more recent. I bought a piece of gym equipment from an internet vendor and found out after the purchase that it used Estes for the shipping. I was disappointed but thought maybe I'd actually receive it. I was wrong. The Estes tracking website includes a "Shipping Date" for when to expect the package. The shipping day came, but when I logged back into the website, it updated the shipping date to tomorrow's date. The website continued to do this ... everyday ... for two weeks. All the while, I had been contacting Estes to find out when I'd get the equipment. First, the Estes rep. told me that the item had been shipped and that I should receive a call very soon to schedule delivery -- then ten days passed ... I called thereafter, and the Estes rep. told me that, actually, a different carrier (the identity of which Estes could not provide) was hired to take the package the rest of the way, and under the terms of their contract, the carrier had two days to schedule delivery with me -- then six days passed. In the end, NO GYM EQUIPMENT WAS DELIVERED. I think the only choice for us consumers is to find out if the merchant uses Estes for shipping prior to making an online purchase. If it does, then buy the goods from somewhere else. I've learned this lesson the hard way. read more

I agree with all the others regarding WORST COMPANY EVER, but I can top it off a notch - they hit my car with their truck, hit and ran, scraping paint off my bumper, and pushing it in so hard that all knobs that held it at the top popped out. I was not even a customer, my roommate was getting, ironically, a car hood delivered to him. For the initial delivery the story is that they called him, he said he is not home and it must be re-scheduled, they attempted a delivery anyway (at which point they hit my car and ran, though I was not present, 4 neighbors confirmed that was THE ONLY delivery truck in the cul-de-sac that day). They did not drop off the box that time, only a note at the door. I hadn't immediately began calling as I wanted for the driver to actually show up while I was home - upon the painstaking attempts to re-scheduled delivery while he's home, they dropped it off while no one was home anyway, and upon opening the box roommate learned that the hood they delivered was damaged. He proceeded to file a claim with the seller of the hood and they contacted Estes for a delivery of a new one and a pick up of the old one. The third delivery attempt was made while I was home, but my roommate was not. Unfortunately, there is no better term to use: the driver was a complete hick who could not understand anything that I or my roommate (whom I called) said. We were simply saying the acceptance of the delivery is impossible at the moment as I am NOT the customer and the customer must inspect new delivery. He refused to understand and kept mumbling and saying he knows nothing, attempting to leave the giant package on my steps. As I flat out said NO TAKE IT BACK, he turned around looking extremely pissed off and CHUCKED the package in the back of his 18-wheeler. Mind you, who in their right mind brings an 18-wheeler into a tiny street with a cul-de-sac, full of parked cars? When I began to call corporate with the report of their driver hitting my car and running, they bumped me through about 5 people who kept me on hold for over an hour, and ended up telling me its not their problem and I must call the local dispatch. Essentially from their reaction I realized that they had absolutely nothing in place for such an incident, which is ironic (or horrific) since they are an auto-transport company and must have collision policy. Of course, the local dispatch/terminal in Stafford did the same as corporate - they kept me on hold and then told me I must call corporate. Having called corporate back, I was not able to reach any of the same people - I was definitely being stonewalled - and the person that did speak to me said nothing repeating I must talk to dispatch. It is curious that corporate had no intention of calling dispatch for me and taking responsibility to resolve the matter of a terrible employee on their staff. Having called dispatch back the next day (when I called back the previous day, they were already closed), they said nobody by the name of the guy I talked to yesterday works there. As I was leaving the state for a trip, I was unable to pursue the claim that moment and quite honestly I had to stop myself because I was ready to show up at their offices and rip them all apart with my bare hands. Between the two hood deliveries and re-deliveries and pickups, we have communicated with 4 Estes drivers and they were all *extremely* unprofessional and dense. *****I would NOT recommend this company to an enemy!***** And this feeling is reiterated when I meet them driving down hwy 81 and seeing the "quality" of their driving. And I still have a messed up bumper as legacy of their horrible customer service, or rather lack thereof, and their complete lack of human decency. read more

WORST COMPANY EVER. Beware, beware. Complete idiots working at this place. We used Estes through a company I work for, and it was the most chaotic experience. No one understands the phrase "time is of the essence." After attempting to pick up some items from a third party, they told them that they must have paperwork to pick up...AFTER it was loaded in the truck. We rescheduled, brought the paperwork, and then the driver tells us that the items need to be crated. After stating that no crates are available, he THEN tells us he has one in the truck we can use to create a makeshift one. I call the next day to see when it will be delivered to the warehouse recipient, and they tell me between 8-5 pm the next day. I tell them that won't work, they must be there by 10 am. They say that it depends on where your items are in the truck makes the difference on what time it will arrive. When I ask if someone can tell me where my items are in the truck, the woman responds by saying "we don't load the trucks 'till the morning, call back in the morning." You. have. got. to. be. kidding. me. I call in the morning, no answer, STILL, and this is at 11 am. Past the point I needed it to be there. The woman says the person I need to speak with is "in a meeting" and will call me back." Call back after two hours, no response still. They are still "loading the truck." Not worth a minute of your time. These idiots are uneducated and have no communication between the company or any urge to help customers. read more

Ordered a vanity from Home Depot, logistics via Estes. Last Thursday, I waited at home from 12-4, no call, no show. Called Estes support, they called the driver - and found out that the truck was broken down all day. A call would have been nice. Friday, I decided to stay at work, since the robo-call from Estes says, "you will get a call 30 minutes before delivery." Plenty of time to get home. Instead, the driver texted 12 minutes before arriving, which I was not expecting, lied to the dispatcher about having called me, and then left before I even knew he was there. Called Estes again, got the same support person (we're buds now). Rescheduled to Monday. Monday, I went home and waited through the delivery window. No show, no call. I called Estes support, and was told by my new buddy there that the truck was overheating. She said she would call the local shipping manager, and try to get my vanity on a truck that, you know, worked. Neither my new best friend nor the dispatch manager called me back, so I contacted Home Depot support (last night). Was told that they would try to contact Estes and get me a solid window for delivery. All apologies. This morning, called Home Depot support, last night's guy had not been able to reach Estes. The new HD dude said he would call Estes ASAP, and either he or Estes would call me back ASAP. I just cancelled my order. Now I have to find a new place to purchase this vanity. 3 weeks wasted in my renovation project. First of all I want to start with saying if I could leave a zero I would..... I don't even know where to begin but let's start with the email confirmation that I received that said my package would be delivered on May 11, 2016. May 11 comes and goes no package May 12 comes and goes no package May 13 I call now keep in mind that it's 4 PM when I call and they tell me that the warehouse is closed and there's nothing they can do about it till Monday because it's on a Friday... Gentlemen takes my number and says he'll have somebody call me first thing Monday morning. Monday morning comes and goes no call Monday afternoon I call back the transfers me to the local warehouse in my area and the gentleman schedules an appointment for the package to be delivered between 10 and 12 PM the next day which is a Tuesday. Keep in mind the email I received said that there was no signature required ,they would drop it in the first dry Space on our porch or driveway. So a couple minutes before 12 that day the driver calls me and tells me he's held up at another delivery and that he'll be there before 3 PM ,I tell him to just leave it he insists that he has to have a signature so I canceled my son's doctor appointment come home and wait for him. Few minutes before three he calls me and tells me that now I can't come because he's on another delivery they can't get away from and it will be sometime after 6 PM I referred him to the email that I received and told him that it does not need a signature and it didn't matter what time it was at night just leave it on the porch at this point I'm getting extremely frustrated. I wake up Wednesday morning nothing there so I begin the phone calls again to what turns out to be an office in Virginia. I'm in Washington state 3000 miles away. So she then again transferred me to the warehouse and the gentleman says he is so sorry that but he can't have the package there today I told them that I just cancel it and give me my money back he puts me on hold for 15 minutes comes back and says he's made arrangements for somebody bring it to me right away they're gonna put it on the van and come right away I asked him what time he would be here he said before 2 o'clock. And behold 2 o'clock comes and goes no package ...3 o'clock comes and goes no package 4 o'clock I call again the office in Virginia they again call the other dispatch at that time after 30 minutes more of being on hold they tell me that the delivery driver says his GPS told him he's 10 minutes away and he'll be here in 10 minutes so at this point I said fine it's on the way just send it. 20 minutes later the delivery driver calls me and wants to know if I'm going to be here because he needs a signature and he still at the warehouse ARE U KIDDING ME?? they just told me he was in traffic 30 minutes ago and that he was 10 minutes away. At this point I tell him I want to speak to his manager.... Finally the person who runs the warehouse gets on the phone and he has no idea of my delivery or what I'm talking about now keep in mind that I have told his whole story 15 times to 15 different representatives he again says that he is so sorry he calls the original people that I've been talking to for the last seven days and confirms that the package does not need a signature I explained to him that I have a screaming one-year-old and a dog that I have to lock up if I open the door and I'm trying to make dinner for husband he's been at work all day-he speaks to corporate they tell him it doesn't need a signature and assured me the package will be here in 10 minutes at this point I just want my money back but I tell him fine if you could be here in 10 minutes just send it. So five minutes later the van pulls up are you kidding me the whole time this package was at a warehouse five minutes away? I've been waiting 16 days for a package that was five minutes away... He pulls up in a raggedy dingy dirty white pedophile van with no markings on it whatsoever or young kid gets out looks like he's been doing construction work all day knocks on my door when I open the door and ask him does he have my package he says yes but I wanted to make sure you were home because I need a signature.... At this point I'm nearly ready to SCREAM!!! I told him it does not need a signature to call the supervisor to just leave the package and I shut the door. Comes back with the packages and says he's not going to leave it without a signature I told him to leave then and just make sure they give me my money back. Five minutes later he walks back up to my porch and throws the package on the front porch and leaves. I have never in my life had such bad experience with the shipping company. Only thing I can say is that the people in Virginia every time I called them they seem to care and were almost as disgusted as I was at the situation the problem was that they are in Virginia and I'm in Washington state . Absolutely the last time I will ever use Estes! I ship new and used outboard motors all over the country. I had a used 2017 300hp Mercury and a new 300hp motor, still under warrantee, shipped from Wisconsin to Florida. They dropped the crate with the one year old 2017 motor off the forklift. They did not deny it. The motor is worth $15-$16,000. The total damage was about $3500. I even refused the order and the driver noted the damage. They said it would sit at the warehouse, so I had them bring it back to sit at my shop. I did not want them to damage it furthur. They came back and since it was technically "used" They decided to be real generous and say they would pay 10 cents a pound, $59! I can't believe no one can take responsibiliy for something like this. DON'T EVER use Estes if you expect them to take care of your goods. It's just "Oh well, here's your $59". They lost my shipment and decided they wouldn't call me when it was supposed to be deliver within the week, they said "it usually shows up in a day or two" it's a 350 lb plow that I need for the 3ft of snow in my 400ft driveway and I have a new born and a 2 year old. I have now been waiting almost 4 weeks for a snow plow and it's snowing again, them and their customer care are both worthless. Selina Dallas in union gap wa told me she will just put me on hold until I calm down when I was basically crying on the phone because carrying two kids up my driveway daily is too much. She shouldn't have a job in customer service but reading the rest of these reviews it sounds like Estes just needs to be shut down. read more

My importer used them to get 6 pallets of goods from Baltimore to Southern MD. They texted our phone to say delivery would be on Monday. On Monday they moved it to Tuesday. On Tuesday they moved it to Wednesday. O Wednesday to Thursday. Then they had the gall to tell me they'd tried to call my phone several times to schedule delivery. My phone had no calls, no voice messages, nothing. Just texts giving delays. They lie, and they don't deliver on time. Avoid!!!! read more

Target used them to delivery a package to me. I was told 3 times that it would be delivered today but it has not arrived and it is almost 7pm. I took the afternoon off from work for this. Horrible service. Target should be embarrassed!!! read more

I received a call last Friday from Estes out of Alexandria, La that the doors I ordered from Home Depot would be delivered Monday. I called Monday to get a window of the delivery time and was told 12-5 and I would receive a call 1/2-1 hour before they arrived. I called again Monday at 4:30 and was told it had always been scheduled for Tues. 13th. and would arrive 12-5. Repeat performance today. Lady said Ms. Debbie had rescheduled for tomorrow, but she didn't know why. She found out the truck lift gate was broken and advised me to call back in am to see if delivery would happen on the 14th. No one bothered to call and let me know about the delay. Very bad way to treat customers. read more

Horrible service. Item was shipped on 14th of November and scheduled for delivery on 20th of November which is quite a while to ship anything anywhere within the US. Item didn't show up on the 20th, and when I called, they couldn't even tell me when it would be delivered. "Probably next week" was the exact phrase they used. How do you run a nationwide freight service and not know when your shipments will be delivered? I realize things fluctuate but to take almost 2 weeks to deliver something that shipped within the US is kinda ridiculous. read more

THE WORST DELIVERY SERVICE IMAGINABLE. If your Walmart/Target order decides to use this courier you WILL be better off canceling your order. I was scheduled to receive my order on 5/26 between 11AM and 3PM. My package arrived at 10:40 AM. There was someone at home to receive the package, but there was a miscommunication that prevented the person from receiving the package. I was LITERALLY 10 min down the street. The driver REFUSED to wait from me to arrive home. So I had to reschedule 4 DAYS Later. Now I am on the phone with a customer representative about the delivery RESCHEDULED for today. They CANNOT find my tracking information. In other words, I will be forced to wait an additional day for my package. TERRIBLE SERVICE! I need this package badly. Otherwise, I would cancel the package entirely!!!! This has been the WORST delivery experience of my life. DO NOT USE Estes Forwarding Worldwide (EFW) EVER.
