I want to start this review by saying that we do not have only small items. A lot of our items are heavy, fragile, and thicker. The two men did a great job handling our items and making sure that they got to their destinations. They were very professional, patient, and helpful. We paid about $600 for the service & we were very pleased with the price because movers are usually more than that. The items were placed in their correct areas and everything came in their condition it was before the move (so far, that I've seen). The movers were very friendly and had great communication. My husband did help with some items because he's particular about things but he didn't mind. I'd also like to note for everyone to remember that movers are still people and not machines. They deserve respect and care as well. I asked them if they wanted food (primarily my husband) and he offered to them as well and they took a break (off the clock) and then they were done shortly after that. I want to share my dreadful experience with CCE Express, a moving company owned by Tony, with potential customers. In my opinion, this company is dishonest and unprofessional, which made my moving experience profoundly frustrating. Tony presented himself as a hardworking family man, accompanied by his young sons, which made me believe that I was supporting a respectable, small family business. However, the trust I placed in him was misplaced. Despite moving just three blocks, from 8th and Juniper to 5th and Juniper, the experience was a nightmare. The team Tony brought was inexperienced and careless, which resulted in the breakage and damage of belongings worth thousands of dollars. It was not just the monetary loss, but also the sentimental value of these items that added to the distress. Moreover, the team was inefficient and took significantly longer than promised, showing a lack of motivation and professionalism. This inefficiency was frustrating and resulted in additional stress and inconvenience. Adding to the dishonesty, Tony claimed to own two trucks, including one large enough for my entire apartment. However, he showed up with a rented U-Haul truck, which was completely unprepared for the task at hand. In conclusion, I regret choosing CCE Express for my move, and I urge anyone considering this company to rethink their choice. In my opinion, CCE Express, under Tony's management, lacks integrity, professionalism, and basic competence. Tony promised to fix/replace all of the broken/damaged items. The move was August 31st. It is now November 14th and not a single item has been fixed or replaced. These are the movers to hire. I have moved every year for a couple of years, and I have gone through a lot of movers, and a lot of disappointments. Tony and Shawn were the best movers I have had in years, maybe ever honestly. They came ready to move, I was surprised how fast they loaded up. Also, they are very friendly and personable. I could tell as soon as I called Tony that I was gonna have a good experience. On top of that, I had them load up my 1 bedroom into a pod that was way smaller than I expected, 7x7 is nothing! I was so worried it wasn't gonna fit, but Tony straight up said "Do you believe in magic" and like Houdini he made all my belongings disappear into a tiny box that I didn't believe could fit everything. Great service with a touch of comedy! This move started out with the driver getting into an accident on the way to work. But, Tony's ex wife stepped into cover the shift. She was maybe 100lbs. But tough as nails. They were very fast and efficient. They only charge you when the 1st item is touched. Nothing was damaged and everything handled with extreme care. But, the best part for me was the hilarious banter between the two! These two NEED to consider getting re-married. Tony and his wife were great! I had asked for estimate from yelp and had CCE expresss estimate so I crossed my fingers and called. Like angels from heaven Tony answered the phone! Not only could they do it they had a gig in the morning but they could come over in the afternoon. I was so excited! They were on time and ready to go. Highly recommend Chance & Chase Express for your moving needs!! On Feb 25, I contacted them for a last minute move (1 bedroom apartment in Atlanta to a 2 bedroom in Duluth) taking place on Feb 28. Not only were they able to accommodate the request, but they were extremely affordable. On feb 28th I was scheduled for a 9am move. The gentlemen (Tony & Corey) called at approx 7:30am to touch bases and confirm they're pending arrival. By 8:30am they were at my place, & by 8:45am they were moving! These men cleared my place out in no time...even with a flight of stairs! Upon arriving to the new spot (which was 35 miles or so away), they unloaded and hit the ground running.... this time with two flights of steps! Overall, this was my best moving experience ever (and I've had many experiences)! PROS: Extremely affordable Reliable Excellent costumer service Provided their own truck (this was a major plus) Provided the furniture wrap (also a plus) Took great care of all of the furniture and boxes Very time efficient CONS: None. They all wore masks, got everything packed and wrapped up quickly and securely, and moved my stuff out of state into storage unit perfectly (and it was organized perfectly so I could easily find everything). My mom, and I were very impressed with the level of professionalism and care for my furniture and belongings. Though the company was easy to communicate with prior to the booking, when the day came, they had hired two guys off of Craigslist to come and move my stuff. Though the gentlemen were nice and efficient, when it came to the payment at the end, they had no idea who Chance and Chase were and only excepted cash which I had to run and get. These two gentlemen charged me $150 to do a 2 hour move, which is actually cheaper than going through Chance and Chase which were charging me $300. I could have gone on Craigslist myself to hire cheap movers, but I was willing to pay more for a more professional experience which is not Chance and Chase. What an amazing team of movers! These guys are super professional, friendly and efficient. I had a 2000 sq ft home with 3 bedroom 2 bth home with a lot of furniture and decor. They got everything moved over the course of two days and that was just because we had A LOT of stuff. None of my items were broken or damaged because they took time to wrap furniture pieces and handled packed boxes with care. The team also came back out to do a junk haul and donation and I am so appreciative of their timely response and support to get the job done. I hired this company for a commercial move. Two days before the move was scheduled, I sent pictures of the items to be moved, including a large commercial freezer. I also sent dimensions of everything that needed to be moved. The two movers showed up 30 minutes late in a rented UHaul that was too small for the freezer they were supposed to move. I'll admit, I was not happy. But I did not yell or swear or say anything personally against the two men. I just asked them how they were going to solve the problem and ask them to get going because we were already behind schedule. They said they were leaving to get a bigger truck. Fifteen minutes later, the mover's wife called and said they were nor coming back because they felt like I had disrespected them. So, two grown men got their feelings hurt because a woman was mad at them for screwing up a large commercial move. I would not in any way recommend this company. They are unprofessional, have horrible customer service, and definitely are not friendly to female customers. read more

I have *never* used a moving service before because I always had family around. For my move to GA I found myself in a real pickle. I sent out a bunch of quotes and C&C were fast to respond, had reasonable rates, and - best of all - were flexible with me in a moment when I needed the most flexibility. They were amazing. Great communication, called us the day before to go over the furniture pieces we had to move. It was nice having them both and they brought their own truck. It rained off and on when they were moving us and they even stopped the clock when it was pouring so our furniture wouldn't get wet and we wouldn't have to pay for that time. I contracted this company for moving services back on February 2nd. It was the worse service experience of my life, literally. Most of my furniture was damaged and they're refusing to respond to my calls and emails for a claim. I have furniture and boxes still in my garage that they refused to take to the upstairs level because the guy that was apparently the supervisor said that it was too heavy. They tried to get me to help them with the move and because I was unable due to a broken foot, and also because I was paying them to perform the move, they stalled and tried to stretch the move out as long as possible because they were being paid by the hour. When I first tried reaching out to the owner right after the move to complain, a guy answered the phone and claimed he did not know who the owner was. I later found out by another associate that works there that the guy that I spoke to over the phone was actually the owner. This company should no longer be allowed to be in the moving business. They leave me no choice but to file a claim in court because they are refusing to take responsibility. read more

We moved from Downtown Atlanta all the way to Canton from our heavily furnished 2-br to a new house. Chance and Chase were incredibly communicative the whole process! We even had the need for multiple trips due to our (probably not well-communicated) trove of unassembled house furniture which was stacked floor to ceiling in the already spacious guest bathroom of our 2-be apartment. Chase and chance worked with us on a great arrangement for a second trip the same day, even though the communication regarding this extra furniture probably failed on our end. This company is amazing! One of my neighbors was moving into a nearby unit and these gentleman saw me STRUGGLING to carry a large, broken floor mirror to the dumpster. As I pondered how to best do it, they immediately asked if I needed help and offered to dispose of the mirror after they completed a job for their client.
