Since I had many other therapies to help with my body, I was hoping these guys would accept my insurance (yay for meeting 3 deductibles in 2 years). When I called they informed me they DO NOT take insurance, which is fine. I still decided to try it out because I wanted to feel better, no matter the cost. Upon my first appointment Dr.Jess (and the following months) was so kind and interested I my accident. So much to the fact, she would ask if I had a lawyer... If my car insurance was giving me money in the time being (since it was the other persons fault)... If I saw a neurologist.. I continued to see her, as I did feel better initially. I told her I wasn't comfortable with manual neck manipulation (cracking my neck with her hands) and she would use the gun on me instead. A few times she forgot, which was terrifying. Fast forward to the "end" of my treatment. AKA me finding another chiropractor who was gentle and less of the "your body went this was going 50 MPH, so we need to put it back with the same force". My bill was TRIPLE THE AMOUNT.. Why you ask? Because I got the "insurance rate" "Oh, but I thought you didn't accept insurance?" "Well since you're insurance gave you money, and you have an automotive insurance claim pending, you get the insurance pricing" Please please please avoid at all costs if you were in a MVA. I should've seen the dollar signs in her eyes when she seemed to care more about what was going on in my world financially than in my body. My adjustments took less time than our conversations.
