There is now greater hypermobility and chronic pain in my upper cervical vertebra as a result of his treatment. Chiropractors (the two that I have worked with) have stated that chiropractic adjustments do not lead to hypermobility, but the opposite is true for me. Now I have a much more difficult problem to solve. When I reported increased symptoms and questioned him about the method, as I wasn't getting better - in fact I was getting worse - I was told about the 3 pillars of health: mindset being one of them. My lack of improvement and questioning of the treatment was construed as "an attitude problem." From my perspective I was tracking how my body was responding, worried it wasn't working (this was long after completing the initial course) and trusting his guidance. Instead of saying, "maybe this isn't working" - he continued to take my money, extend the treatment, and blame my mindset for not healing. I went into the treatment very optimistic and excited about his expertise. I also didn't exercise or cross my legs for seven months, which is sacrifcing other aspects of health. So, overall, I don't love the way I was interacted with. I think many people do have success, but I was not one of them.

Upon receiving everything, Dr. Benjamin texted me on his day off to check in and see what was going on and he offered treatment advice to keep me comfortable for the day until I could get in to see him on Sunday.
