The second young man was the one my son had spoken to on the phone and asked him to set aside my order. He completed the checkout and handed me my receipt. As I took the receipt, Colby said, "Mam, would you like me to put these on for you?" I told him I had considered asking him but it was way too hot. He smiled and said, "No, Mam. I can get this done in a couple of minutes" and he headed out the door. As soon as he finished, he said, "See, that didn't take long." I cannot tell you how impressed I was by the behavior of both young men. They are a wonderful asset to O'Reilly's reputation. I think they are both worthy of a raise (or at least a bonus). They advertised one price; Curtis confirmed it, snuck in the higher price on the contract. Christine (Owner) never once explained why the $4000 price difference. Don't bother telling them no on a service contract. They'll slip it in anyway, calling it "the warranty". To hide their scam, they refused to give copies of the loan agreement at the signing, saying, "It'll come in the mail", 5 weeks later. Christine did refund "the warranty", $2,995, but did not remove it from the bill of sale, costing me more taxes. This is their business model; it's not about the customer, it's about the take... Take you business elsewhere.
