RV City is a bait-and-switch company. They'll act like a family shop while they're scheming on how to scam you into a higher price, service contract, or, if all else fails, the $500 deposit they make you put up. They advertised one price; Curtis confirmed it, snuck in the higher price on the contract. Christine (Owner) never once explained why the $4000 price difference. Don't bother telling them no on a service contract. They'll slip it in anyway, calling it "the warranty". To hide their scam, they refused to give copies of the loan agreement at the signing, saying, "It'll come in the mail", 5 weeks later. Christine did refund "the warranty", $2,995, but did not remove it from the bill of sale, costing me more taxes. This is their business model; it's not about the customer, it's about the take... Dear Curtis E, I don't know you, or had any dealings with you. I was trying to purchase said RV , when the salesman apparently gave me the wrong price, at which point I asked him what the true price was. He stated that it's all good, they we're going to change the numbers to match the camper I was interested in, at no point did he, the office manager (that made me show her the one I wanted) nor the owner say at any time, they where going to put me into another unit......one that didn't have same colors or accessories. (Base model).... All they did is send me paperwork to sign by email for the base model without telling me!!!!!! so sir I did have a problem, and I will have the day I deserve!!!!!! We've been shopping for years and are finally at a point where we can buy a camper. After several RV shows, shopping online and visiting numerous dealerships, we came back to RV City. The Micro Lite by Flagstaff fit our needs perfectly. We saw the same camper by Rockwood at another dealership in Hot Springs (identical, actually-- turns out they're made at the same facility by the same people, just with different graphics and fabric) but RV City beat their price by more than $3000! Even though we loved the camper, we shopped around a bit more and went to another RV show just to make sure. Nothing we saw beat all the extra features and luxury touches of that camper or the cost we were quoted. Matt, in particular, was an extreme pleasure to work with and I look forward to seeing him in the future. He never pressured us and we found it as easy to relate to him as a member of our own family. Nobody online could come close to his quote for that camper anywhere in the country. When we met to close the deal, I was pleasantly surprised to find there were absolutely no hidden fees or last-minute charges. Matt said that was the final cost and it honestly was. RV City gave us a detailed orientation (we're first time owners) and adjusted our hitch for us. We found a couple minor issues after setting up at home, but RV City addressed them quickly and got our camper back to us in just a couple days. I thought this process was supposed to be painful, but I'm overjoyed to attest that the entire process was easy with no unpleasant surprises. I took my camper in because the actuator for the slide had gone out I got it back and now had a half inch gap from my slide to my wall for the rain to get in when it rains took it back to them and was told seals need replaced and I was under the impression from them that it was gonna be covered under warranty well it wasn't ok no big deal I go to pick it up and guess what folks i still have a half inch gap they then tell me oh it looks like they sent us the wrong actuator I had to pay them to get my camper back and I still have a gap in it because they installed the wrong part to begin with and I never needed the additional $2732 worth of work all it needs is for them to install the correct part read more

I am not one to leave a negative review, but with this experience I feel like I have no choice. We were having some trouble with our brakes and air conditioner on the camper we bought here a little over a year ago. We called and took our camper as instructed. After two weeks we were called and told the problems were fixed. They were not. After two more weeks we were called again and this time went to retrieve our camper. When we arrived, we were told the items were in fact NOT under warranty and we were handed a bill. We have been without our camper for over a month now and have only received two phone calls from RV city telling us our camper is ready. NEVER that any items were not under warranty or that we would be charged. This place has been trouble from the beginning and the owner is beyond rude. I went to return a camper for my deceased Grandfather and was lied to about price that was previously agreed on ($15,000) , unjustifiably took costs out that I had disclosed to Ryan, which left me $1300 short, and was told that they could haul the camper up there for me so I agreed. Little did I know that that would also cost me $100 extra which they told me AFTER THEY HAD IT HAULED. Keep in mind I had ZERO communication with the person getting it, it was 100% their deal, that I had to end up paying for. very honest folks bought a "2017" flagstaff Vlite camper that they had on consignment , when title arrived it turned out to be a 2016 model. the owner had represented it to rv city as a 2017. Well this has been an experience like none other bought a camper from RV City in Benton Grey Wolf Cherokee first off when we bought it and started to pick it up notice the wall in the bedroom was bowed and falling in the fridge was half out like they took ours out and put it in another one and the put one back in our but not all the way we bought our camper in December the first time we used it was in April the ac was kicking on and off the sink faucet wasn't working correctly and the asst gamble was broke and the bedroom wall still had the proof falling in took it back to rv city to fix go it back took it out in May and same problem they never touched anything they just adjusted everything and on the trip the floor going into the bedroom bulked up completely broke took it back to rv city to let them know that they didn't fix anything and let them know about floor they called to say our camper was ready after about a month went to get it and they had cut the vinyl and put a silver strip across it and just screwed the floor back down was not happy with the sliver strip and was looking at the camper and you could tell they hadn't done anything so I contacted the manufacturer and they came and picked it up about end of June and took it to Indiana to be fix at the plant per Andy that is the supervisor of maintenance after it being there from June to aug 28th they brought it back to us well it was in worse shape when it got back then it was before it left none of the waterworks at all the ac still don't work there's leaking of the awing they must have painted trim because the paint was still wet from the slideout FOREST RIVER Manufacturing is not any better about fixing the problems. This was the 5th time and all we get is lies from everybody we have done without a camper all summer I would not tell anyone to go by a camper from RV City and I would not tell them to buy a Forest River Cherokee camper from anybody at this point who knows what's going to happen but there is a lemon law I do know that and I'm not stopping till I have a camper that is usable unfortunately I have to give them one star for this post to be posted read more

I purchased a s class used rv from RV City in June. I purchased an extended warranty for over $3,000.00. I was assured all cosmetic problems would be corrected by Justin. When it was delivered, none of the problems had been fixed. I did not use this RV at any time. There was an engine light on that wasn't there before. I contacted Christine (owner) about the insurance. She told me to bring it to RV City for repairs or, if I was out of the area, to take it to the nearest service center. The ONLY service center who could service my RV was Holmes in Shreveport. I had over $2,000.00 worth of service done and reported it to RV City. I was told my claim was denied! The reason...I was suppose to make the claim before work was done! That was NEVER related to me! I am now stuck with a service bill that should have been paid by the $3300.00 extended warranty I paid for! I also want to point out that once they received my money I was of little importance to them! Customer service is the worse I have ever seen! read more

We purchased our fifth wheel a year and a half ago. Back in December, we dropped off our fifth wheel asking them to fix two of the three slides. We purchased an extended warranty so expected it to be under warranty work. The rubber seals on the inside were broken and one slide's outside seal was broken and the actuator on one slide was broken. What they said would take a week took two months. We got our camper back finally, and nothing was fixed. The actuator they replaced was the wrong size, so one of our slides won't even go out all the way. We took it back AGAIN and got it back, and once again, the slides' rubber seals are STILL broken on the inside and I can see outside and the actuator is still the same one. The crooks happily took $2700 for the rubber seals to be replaced on the outside that didn't even need to be replaced. Before they replaced it they never mentioned a payment, let alone a $2700 payment for repairs. Now in the bedroom there is a soft spot, our carpet is ruined and rain will continue to get inside and are in the hole for $2700. read more

Salesman told us we could get our deposit back and then the owner says no and tried to bully us into buying. They expressed themselves as family owned, and made it sound like the salesman and his son work there and were part of the family. We called after the show & never heard back from our salesman only to learn from the owner, that he "helps out" on occasion and we were supposed to be grateful to deal directly with her (her words were, how many businesses do you get to deal with the owner?) - might be true but I've had much better dealings when NOT dealing with the owner.... . When I mentioned that we didn't get calls back she was very rude and told me that i was starting out with complaints and would never be satisfied.They cashed our check that was supposed to be "held" and did that before even giving us the finance options. When we said we wanted out, she laughs and says she is keeping our deposit because we signed a legal document and that she's been in business and has done this for years.... yep, I mention a BBB review of the same problem we had, and she laughed and said she "won" that too so I guess she is proud that she continues to take people's deposits after salesman tell them they can get it back. That is never the way to treat customers but she doesn't care. I'm so grateful we didn't buy from here after reading reviews and now hearing first hand about service issues and treatment. So please be advised and use caution when considering this company. I would NOT recommend them to anyone. read more

I bought an RV out of state, did not live here at the time, and have had the extreme pleasure of RV City performing warranty repairs. They have done an excellent job. I appreciate them especially knowing they did not have to do any work on a unit not bought from them. Highly recommend them for sales and service. read more
