When I got to the location parking was east to find and she greeted me and sat me in a very well decorated well lit and beautiful decor lounge. The Facial room was very spacious and decorated with modern decor which made me feel relaxed and queen like feeling. I was instructed to change and get in the hot seat. My facial was very soothing and relaxing she notified me of what she was doing and using on my face and also suggesting on how we can fix the problem areas. Update: My lashes weren't washed beforehand with water, but Ashley mentioned they were cleaned with a solution instead. I personally prefer when lashes are washed with water, since that's how other salons I've visited have done it. It still felt a bit unhygienic to begin without a water cleanse. The silicone pads also weren't sticking at all for quite a while, likely because I had moisturizer on. Again, that's exactly why lash techs wet the lashes before starting , to prevent that issue. When the service was finished, the result looked okay at first, but because I felt so rushed, I didn't get a proper look. I genuinely felt like I needed to hurry out so Ashley could go about her day, she actually left the building before I did. Later, I noticed that one side of my lashes was curled higher than the other. When I reached out to express my concern, I was told it's "uncommon" to give a refund without seeing the service in person, even though I sent the requested photos. I found that response disappointing, especially since the prep and overall service were already below standard. I honestly don't understand how this place has five stars. Even if the treatment had turned out perfectly, my experience itself was maybe a three-star one at best. In my opinion the customer service and communication just weren't professional. I also wasn't talked through the process at all, which is I personally find unusual for a lash service where your eyes are closed the entire time. Regardless, I wanted to share my honest experience so others know what to expect. Lastly, if you're driving yourself, note that there's no mention of parking in the confirmation email, and you'll have to pay for public parking nearby. It would've been helpful if that information was disclosed beforehand, since it adds to the cost and inconvenience of the visit. Updated with photos I sent to Ashley before leaving this review. There was no "demanding" I simply wanted to see what the customer service would be like before posting. The photos were taken two to three days apart and show that the curl is losing shape even with normal face washing. My concern wasn't about getting a refund, it was about how the situation was handled. I booked expecting five star service and my treatment didn't reflect that. If I was truly money hungry I would've accepted the $10. I also ONLY asked for a partial refund! I didn't want to return because my experience wasn't good and I'd rather do this at home on my own since I haven't had much success getting it done by a professional. Which is why I reached out to Ashley giving the benefit of the doubt, thinking my experience might have been a rare occurrence. My review reflects my personal experience and opinion. Any statements about "extortion" , "demanding a refund" , "defame" made in response by the salon are incorrect. I communicated my concerns politely and professionally, simply to see if anything could be done before posting a review. I now feel threatened and distressed by the response I received. Information I shared privately and in confidence has been made public, and false statements have been written about me. I reached out in good faith to resolve my concern, not to harm anyone's business. I'm disappointed that my honest feedback has been met with personal attacks instead of professionalism.
