Jade is great and recommended the dermaplaning over the microdermabrasion due to the needs of my skin and she does a great job on extractions. The place is cute, clean, and has tons of parking nestled in the Bel Air shopping center. My biggest gripe and it's a big one for me - the ability to make appts online or via text. All my text communications for appt making are returned via a phone call or I have to make it in person which seems outdated for 2024. I won't fault the rating for it, but EVERY other service appt I can make online or via text. From car servicing, dentist, chiro, massages, facials, lashes. A phone call during work hours to confirm appts, cancel or rebook appointments is really frustrating. I really wish there was an investment into an online appt or text appt process. All 4 of my referrals also have this same qualm. I hope this falls on the right ears. Please get an online system! :)

You are supposed to be able to trust a doctor with your life, and as a "skin doctor" I trust her completely with my skin. She is shy but so sweet, and loves her job which I think makes her so good, as she has been doing this for a long time and is so accommodating and informative. I first started coming to her for peels, the first one was a Glycolic peel and it was different from the ones I had in other derm's office that lasted 5 minutes. It was almost an hour and so much more relaxing. I have very sensitive skin so after I got red from the first one (like I expected) she customized my peels to be Sacylic acid as they weren't as harsh on my skin. I got 6 sets of peels with two/three weeks in between and now I come to her once a month for an awesome, relaxing facial. In fact the facial is so relaxing that I talk the whole time and ask questions so I don't fall asleep! My skin looks so much better than a year from now, it hasn't looked this good since before I was a teenager. It was a gradual process, but I'm pretty happy with where my skin is at, and I know I will never have perfect skin, but I have gotten so many compliments on how much better my skin looks (or how nice my skin is) and I didn't really tell anyone that I was going for these treatments. Definitely great for careful, precise, customized quality skincare. Totally worth it!

So, for this time around, I appreciate that Rani gave a pleasant massage. Amanda is a rockstar and my wife loves getting massages with her. In fact, I get jealous because I wish I could have a massage from Amanda as well, which I could, but she can't clone herself for two side by side if we do the couples suite. This is a very cute spa and we love to support local business. I do see us returning in the future for self care treatments. My only concern is that when calling or texting to schedule for massages, I expect........ that whomever is discussed as a name within that conversation, that will be the massage therapist or therapists (couples) that are present day of.
