There is one older Caribbean gentleman who wears a cap and works behind the counter who is especially rude. Every time I come in, he greets me with a scowl and never hands my card back directly after a transaction. If I purchase several items, he simply hands me a bag and expects me to bag everything myself, even though other employees have always done it without hesitation. What finally made me decide not to return was a recent visit where I stood there waiting for 15 minutes (it wasn't busy) while that same employee sat at the computer, clearly aware I was waiting, but chose to ignore me completely. Another employee was on the phone with a customer, so I was left standing there with no acknowledgment at all. If my business is not appreciated, I am more than happy to take it elsewhere. There are plenty of other places that provide better service. I highly recommend Gleason Paint Place instead. The tall employee there, as well as the young Hispanic guy who takes orders, are always helpful, respectful, and professional.

I did this knowing full well his reply would be that they are more expensive than Home depot. I am not a rich man, but I will pay extra to a local family run business, always have and always will. The blond oak planks were cut and ripped to my specific needs at no additional cost. Quality of the wood was excellent, no knots, straight and not dinged up in any way. "Back up your vehicle into the garage as to not get a ticket at the hydrant" was the advice of the workers, who accommodated my contractor by loading up the material and attaching a red plastic flag to the end, for visual warning to drivers behind his truck.

The front desk are helpful to guide all around the interior retail space or to the specialists and cashiers as needed. The cashiers are speedy, efficient, and professional. The warehouse floor staff are very understanding, laborous, and unified about getting the materials out. Their leader is particularly present, prominent, and caring. Their care for passerbys thru their curbside work areas is telling of their good culture. Their delivery drivers are also kind and gentle, even if sidewalk deliveries are a hectic time. He said to just buy whatever I thought I would need and I could return things I didn't use like unopened paint thinner and primer. I took his word for it and bought more than enough to do the job. When I finished the job I had a quart of primer and a can of paint thinner to return so I brought it into the store with my receipt and asked to get a refund for the unused products. The person in the store was not the same guy that I dealt with previously. I showed him my store generated computer receipt but it was for the gallons of paint and not the primer which I bought the day before. This guy was so horrible and refused to return the unused stuff without the proper receipt. I asked if he could call his boss and ask him if he remembered me since we had a long talk about the neighborhood. He refused and was so rude that I left the store and he actually follow me out and shouted a nasty remark at me. After I left the store I decided to call back and ask about a sale based on the order number and he looked it up in the computer not realizing he was speaking to me. What do you need so I proceeded to ask him for a 5 gallon eggshell paint as soon as I finished my first sentence they attended rushed to the back of the store to get the 5 gallons of paint . I told him I was not done placing my or order. I also need a 5 gallons flat paint , A few seconds later, he came out with the two buckets of paint without shaking them, so I ask him to shake them.
