They can be a bit pricey for bigger things, like the drill my fiancé bought, but they are really reasonably priced for most other things. What I was most impressed by was that the sales associate, who greeted me immediately upon entry, really listened to & attempted to solve the problem. I have to admit that Home Depot is my go-to, just because they have such a large inventory, but that large inventory is a double-edged sword. More often than not, I find that the sales associates are not cross-trained so, if the product or solution you're looking for is not in the section they have been trained to oversee, you're left with the options of seeking out sales associates in different departments to tell your tale of woe multiple times or assume they don't carry what you need & leave. All this to say, my visit to Blaustein's was a great reminder of the value of one's neighborhood hardware store.
