Im making this review to warn others. I went to Estrogenica in 2024 for a procedure. The day of the procedure, Dr. A. Voss, along with her CRNP canceled my procedure because of my BP being elevated and "they" did not feel comfortable (I have white coat syndrome which Dr. Voss was made aware off on my consult and pre appointments). I left that day and at a later date when I asked what my credit was, since they refused to refund me bc it was past the 30 day refund policy, my credit was 2k less than what I was expecting. I was charged 2k for the CRNP's time (literally he spoke with me for less than 10 minutes) and for "opening up supplies" that could not be used on anyone else and for "extra" staff. No where, in any of the documents I signed, was there any mention of this charge should the procedure be canceled for whatever reason. I asked to speak with the office manager, whom informed me that she was just the messenger and was being told what to say and had nothing to do with the charges. Afterwards, I sent several emails communicating with them about how unhappy I was about how they handled this and how extremely unprofessional this was; they refused to respond. I called and left several messages just asking for a call back to discuss and no response. The procedure was scheduled for November 1st and its now August and im still dealing with them keeping my money and refusing to refund. I don't care to have any procedures at this medical practice at all and wish to just get my money refunded. In these last several months, I consulted an attorney who advised me to contact the Attorney General and file a complaint, which I have done. Finally after several more months, the AG office tells me my complaint is closed, no explanation except I need to hire an attorney. From what I understand, im not the only person that this has happened to. Just to put this into context we are not talking about a couple hundred dollars, we are talking a few thousand. All I want is to get my money back and never deal with them again, and they are simply holding on to it. This whole experience has made me realize that the provider is not at all willing to do the right thing, and is just looking to make a profit. She does not care about how unprofessional and absolutely wrong this is. This whole situation was messy from the beginning and should have been a red flag for me. This is not the way a medical practice needs to operate and people need to know. Hopefully, this will warn others to choose to go elsewhere for their medical needs. read more

I was told that they would refer me somewhere else because I was dissatisfied. All I wanted was an apology for their complete lack of communication and my doctor telling me that I was to blame for "not keeping up with my preventive care". Isn't that their job? And if I'm not told then how do I know I need to have something done anyway? read more

I will NEVER use Dr. Voss again. While the staff were friendly, I ALWAYS had to wait for more than an hour to be called back. After getting into a room, It took her FOREVER to come in. I explained my issue and she decided I needed a dnc, I think it's called, so we scheduled surgery. The day of surgery, they hooked me up to IV and it was right at 5 hrs. before they came to get me and put me in the other surgery waiting place. This was uncalled for! I happened to be related to a person that works in surgery and she said she has had to go find Voss and remind her a patient was waiting on the table for surgery many times. She said she would just be wandering around somewhere else. Thing is, after this minor surgery that I found out later didn't even really need, it didn't even fix my problem and she never got back to me about it. I had to go back in several times, always saying the same thing but not taking care of the problem. Not to mention my insurance and I were charged like $60,000 for this common minor surgery. Had to pay $1000 out of my pocket. Ridiculous! after coming back about 5 times, she finally prescribes me something for the issue and never mentioned the any effects it might have. After taking the pills for a few days, I got this excruciating abdominal pain and almost went to ER. Told her about it my next visit and she didn't seem too concerned. Just said oh, that was uterus shedding or something, NEVER mentioned about the PAIN! I'd had enough and went elsewhere and never looked back. A nurse from this place said they had had many a complaint about Voss. Needless to say, the other place FIXED my problem with 1 visit. Maybe I should have known better when I saw her wearing stilettos to her office. read more

This office has been great throughout my pregnancy. I would highly recommend them. I will note that I have excellent medical insurance which helps with any doctor's office. They have been prompt about filling any prescriptions and have been great about discussing anything I ask questions about. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Voss for 3 years now. She is absolutely amazing! I have seen several doctors due to 12 years of pain and they all blew me off saying it was just cysts on my ovaries. After a few tests she discovered the true cause of my issues and got me fixed up. I'm so happy I made the decision to try her. She truly cares about her patients. not to mention how wonderful the staff is. I do have to wait sometimes when she is delivering babies but that's no problem, I understand those situations can't necessarily wait. Overall, she and her office is exceptional! read more

My doctor, Mrs. Walton-Torrence, is friendly and professional in our visits. However, every time I have an appointment, it takes no less than 2 hours of waiting. The amount of time actually spent with the doctor is typically less than 10 minutes. I am very disappointed at the lack of consideration for patient wait times. I frequently arrange to have the first appointment of the day, even then I spend hours waiting to be seen. I think this is both inconvenient and down right irritating. I am always 10minutes early for my appointment, because I want to be ready to go when the doctor is. Why cant the clinic staff schedual more accuratly so that I don't feel my time is being wasted? I like my doctor but if you are considering this OB be prepared to wait. read more

Borders on Medical Negligence! I had a biopsy done in January and called about 3 weeks later about results. I was promised someone would call me the next day. A couple weeks later I called back, and was promised someone would call me the next day. After three MONTHS of anxiety, I was finally contacted, but told that I would need to come in for my results, and that the earliest appointment was not for three weeks. No explanations were given. I requested to speak with the doctor on the phone, but was told I could not. As other ladies have mentioned, I have waited for several hours past my appointment time every single time, and per usual, I waited a long time prior to being seen. When the doctor asked how I was, I mentioned that I had been anxious about my results and was concerned that I had not even been contacted for three months. She quickly brushed me off and told me that in the past her nurses "have been traumatized" by talking to patients about results. I had not asked a nursed to give me results; I had simply wanted a time to speak with the doctor within the 2-3 week time-frame in which I was told I would have my results. She gave me a very brief explanation of my results and suggested I come back in to see her for a procedure. When I asked about potential side effects, again she seemed to brush them off. After less than 5 minutes with the provider, for a visit I did not even want to have, the clinic had the audacity to bill me $88 for the appointment. Bottom line: Waiting for over 3 months to give a patient their biopsy results borders on medical negligence. I will never go here again and recommend that no one else go either. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! 0/5 stars! Yeah, I went to the Enterprise location a while ago. First off, when I checked in, the receptionist told me they'd need a urine sample (I understand it's procedure but usually this is done AFTER you've been let in the room) and pointed me to the waiting room bathroom. I get in there and there are mini Dixie cups and a sharpie. I was expected to write my name on it, pee in it, and then set it in a little window in the wall. I couldn't go at the time, but I opened the window out of curiosity and saw two other cups sitting there, fully susceptible to contamination since there were no coverings of any kind. Gross!!! The whole thing was completely unprofessional in my opinion. I was left sitting in the waiting room for 2 HOURS past my appointment time. I was finally called up to the receptionist window and was told that my doctor had been called away and that they would have to reschedule me. Seriously??? They made me wait two hours and then canceled my appointment. I was also there because I needed to reevaluate my birth control... my previous prescription had expired and I needed a new one. I quietly mentioned this to the receptionist, explaining my predicament at which point she SHOUTS into the back hallway loud enough for the entire small waiting room to hear about my need for birth control. Forget about patient confidentiality at this place! I was mortified and so embarassed! A young nurse came out but because I was a new patient they couldn't prescribe me anything and they didn't have samples of my previous prescription. Needless to say, I did NOT reschedule and will NEVER try going here again. Worst medical experience of my life! read more

If I could rate this place a zero I would. I took my teenage daughter here for an evaluation of her hormone levels after being referred by her pediatrician. At our first visit I don't believe the ARNP we saw was in the room with us 5 minutes before telling us she couldn't do anything with out having labs done. They sent us to another place to have her labs done as they don't work with quest my insurance's preferred lab. I had to reschedule her fu appointment multiple times because they said they never received her results. After the 3rd time of them saying they had not received the labs I was told I would have to call and get them myself. I called quest and they said they had sent the results to the office almost 3 weeks prior. I brought my own printout of her labs to the appointment the next day. Which I was glad because they still said they didn't have them and didn't bother to call. When we met Dr. Voss I was immediately disgusted with her want to make money. We were there to discuss hormone levels and she spent the entire visit trying to sell me a $300 dollar spa package to help with my daughter's self esteem which we never said was a problem. Dr. Voss said she would prescribe a medication to help my daughter and that it would be called into our pharmacy. Low and behold no medications were ordered. This office is incompetent and should be shut down. It is ethically unsound and medically negligent. We will never go here again. read more

I had my appointment set up for 3 weeks, called me the morning of my appointment to see if I wanted to come in earlier. I made my hour drive to see them, as they were a recommended place, and they told me as I got there that I had an insurance issue- and I couldn't be seen. I live an hour away. 60 miles to see them. And they didn't think to give me a courtesy call so I didn't waste my time or gas. Didn't even apologize. I will not be going back here or recommending them. read more

I was reffered here by someone who told me they were friendly. I requested Dr Torrence because of her expertíse. Upon arriving i got there the lobby was fukk but I had an appointment. Within 15 minutes I was called and taken to the back. I will say the nurse taking my weight BP and temp was unpleasant she looked and acted as if I was a burden so I had already psyched myself to feel like why did I come here. I was greeted by an intern after the nurse who was cheeful and got gen info from me. The Dr then came in again VERY friendly and was patient with me while I asked questions and told her my concerns. Needless to say she was very sweet and helpful hands down the BEST OB/GYN Ive been to. She also cane back and talked to me after she had left the room for me to dress and explained how nice it was to meet me. My experience was great with Dr. Torrence. read more

If I could put no stars I would. I had an appointment at 1:30pm so I arrived at 1pm was greeted and they took my paper work (which filling out their paper work I felt so interrogated). I had my child with me and we sat there till almost 2:30pm. My child was starting to get pissy so i kindly went up to receptionist and asked how much longer she told me they still had one other person in front of me they were only taking patients back every 20-30 min so god only knows how much longer I would have been there. I then asked her why it was so backed up she then proceeded to tell me its because they have such a large patient load. My thought was like why do you guys keep taking on new patients if you cant even get through the ones you have. It was pretty ridiculous to have to wait to be seen. I then told them I couldn't wait any longer I had not anticipated that i was going to be seen almost 2 hours later if not even longer!!! I then told them I would come back when I could be seen right away and not 2 hours later. They didn't even seem a bit sorry for how late they were running. She also told me that no matter what time I came in it would always be like this so I then proceeded to tell her I would like to be here when you open I got my appointment then left. I have never been to a dr where I was made to feel like i was bothering them and I was interrupting their conversation and life. I was so pissed i went home and called my insurance and had them switch my referral I would rather google my symptoms and take a shot with that then going back to them I would recommend them NEVER! Don't waste your time going here they have horrible customer service and just rude. I even called to talk to the office manager 2 days later still never called me back. read more

The whole Practice, down to the incompetent billing department seem rude and treated my daughter very disrespectful. They don't even do a thorough examination. The worst is their billing though. They are incapable of filing the visits correctly, which in turn causes a denial by the insurance company. I made dozens of phone calls, but they are smug and refuse to work with you or correct the issue. read more

I had an AMAZING experience. First remember that you are not their only patient, they see many throughout the day. They took time with me an answered ALL my questions and concerns. Try them for yourself, most insurance companies will allow you to change if you aren't happy! I hate reading reviews that say things that are mostly the fault of the reviewer. First visit and I had to wait 45 minutes to be seen. I still followed up with the second appt because my PCOS had become unbearable. My doctor WAS Dr. Torrance. The second visit was at 1045. Around 1130 I had a vaginal ultrasound. After that was complete I waited until 1 pm until my doctor could see me. In fact I was at the receptionist desk requesting a new appt (because the wait was so long) when I was called to the back where I was asked AGAIN for blood pressure and weight. I sat in the private room for five minutes (i was looking at the time on my phone!) before I left. Dr. Torrance didn't call to apologize, she called to tell me I was wrong if I thought any other doctor wouldn't have a bad day! The nerves of that woman! She called only after her nurse called twice and both times I made it explicitly clear that I would NEVER be Dr. Torrence's patient again! They have poor communication and even worse organization in that office. Moreover, they don't value their patients or their patient's time AT ALL! I'M DISGUSTED BY HOW I WAS TREATED AND WILL NEVER EVER EVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!!! EVER!! read more

I waited hours to see Dr. Voss in the waiting room--and way too much time in a paper gown in a freezing exam room. When she finally did come in, she didn't spend more than 2 minutes performing the exam, and it certainly wasn't thorough. She asked me 3 rapid-fire questions and didn't even pause to wait for the answers before she was out of the door. This isn't the first time she's done this to me.
