Voss, along with her CRNP canceled my procedure because of my BP being elevated and "they" did not feel comfortable (I have white coat syndrome which Dr. Voss was made aware off on my consult and pre appointments). I left that day and at a later date when I asked what my credit was, since they refused to refund me bc it was past the 30 day refund policy, my credit was 2k less than what I was expecting. I was charged 2k for the CRNP's time (literally he spoke with me for less than 10 minutes) and for "opening up supplies" that could not be used on anyone else and for "extra" staff. No where, in any of the documents I signed, was there any mention of this charge should the procedure be canceled for whatever reason. I asked to speak with the office manager, whom informed me that she was just the messenger and was being told what to say and had nothing to do with the charges. Afterwards, I sent several emails communicating with them about how unhappy I was about how they handled this and how extremely unprofessional this was; they refused to respond. I called and left several messages just asking for a call back to discuss and no response. The procedure was scheduled for November 1st and its now August and im still dealing with them keeping my money and refusing to refund. I don't care to have any procedures at this medical practice at all and wish to just get my money refunded. In these last several months, I consulted an attorney who advised me to contact the Attorney General and file a complaint, which I have done. Finally after several more months, the AG office tells me my complaint is closed, no explanation except I need to hire an attorney. From what I understand, im not the only person that this has happened to. Just to put this into context we are not talking about a couple hundred dollars, we are talking a few thousand. All I want is to get my money back and never deal with them again, and they are simply holding on to it. This whole experience has made me realize that the provider is not at all willing to do the right thing, and is just looking to make a profit. She does not care about how unprofessional and absolutely wrong this is. This whole situation was messy from the beginning and should have been a red flag for me. This is not the way a medical practice needs to operate and people need to know. Hopefully, this will warn others to choose to go elsewhere for their medical needs.

I did not receive a return call from Lindsey, the office manager. So this was a very clear sign to me, that my experience did not matter. I pray that this was an isolated experience. And, that the owners take the time to address it with their staff. I'm Still Choosing Joy!

He was very knowledgeable and communicated thoroughly and professionally. My second pregnancy I had Dr. Ragan as my doctor and I also highly recommend him. They were both very friendly and were happy to answer any questions I had. Dr. Ragan was nice to have as a doctor because he was quick and to the point - without feeling rushed. I actually drove an hour to every appointment because I liked Aventa so much the first time and wanted to go back to Flowers Hospital. The front staff for check in/ out is always super friendly as well and so are the lab techs !

Severe and debilitating pain is not "normal." There are practitioners at this clinic who will behave in a very huffy manner towards you if you decline to take medications that you have already tried and found unsuccessful in the past. They are unwilling to work with you to find new solutions. I feel that some of the practitioners at this clinic lack empathy, or perhaps the expertise to properly diagnose and treat patients who experience recurring and severe pain. If you felt dismissed by practitioners at this clinic, please don't feel discouraged-- you deserve proper care and consideration. There are doctors out there who will listen to you. I know in the future I will be seeking treatment with providers who truly put forth the effort to understand my symptoms, and I hope anyone who has had a similar experience with Elite Women's Health will do the same. I think the clinic is wonderful for routine checkups, but not so much for health problems.

Dr. Clements was patronizing, paternalistic, and unprofessional in his…read more attitude and tone. He treated me as if I was a child incapable of making decisions, telling me "if you were my daughter, I wouldn't let you get an IUD." He met my questions with repeated assertions of medical authority but failed to answer them. His manner of consultation implied that although my decisions were my own, I was a moron to even consider an IUD, saying "You really want an IUD? You really want to do this? Well, if you think it's a good idea." When I said that my doctors at Thagard has recommended it as a good option for my situation, he said "that's the difference between a private practice and a school or government medical facility -- we're concerned about your long term care." As I have been pleased with my care at Thagard, this was upsetting. I felt that he was attempting to bully me into believing, without any reasonable explanation, that this was a bad option for me, despite what I have read and been told by other medical professionals at Thagard. Unfortunately, he is successful, in that I would never accept him as a doctor and apparently there is no other option, as he also told me that his partners at the clinic wouldn't even insert IUDs because they don't want to be responsible for impacting a woman's fertility. I would not want any of my friends or relations to have to have an experience like this.

The nurse the year before told me if I lost weight, she would put me on fertility meds to help me get pregnant. this was a different person this time. I lost 80 lbs, and told that nurse what the other said. She told me, I don't know why she told you that. We aren't a fertility clinic. If you want to spend thousands of dollars for fertility meds or ivf that's just stupid. I couldn't believe she said that. I just left and haven't been back.
