I'm one of those people who will call whomever to leave an amazing review, for fabulous service, sadly, this was not my experience with this company, (Note-My NP Mandy was great and did listen to me and explained why she was behind) I had an appointment at 11:30, I thought that it was for 11:20 I arrived at 10:30 and wasn't called back until after twelve. I did not receive a return call from Lindsey, the office manager. So this was a very clear sign to me, that my experience did not matter. I pray that this was an isolated experience. I used Aventa for both of my pregnancies and had great experiences both times. My first Dr. was Dr. Gilchrist - he was very personable and I felt like I even got to know his family from his stories. He was very knowledgeable and communicated thoroughly and professionally. My second pregnancy I had Dr. Ragan as my doctor and I also highly recommend him. They were both very friendly and were happy to answer any questions I had. Dr. Ragan was nice to have as a doctor because he was quick and to the point - without feeling rushed. I actually drove an hour to every appointment because I liked Aventa so much the first time and wanted to go back to Flowers Hospital. The front staff for check in/ out is always super friendly as well and so are the lab techs ! read more

I found them on google as I am not from this area and recently moved here. I went & met my doctor. Dr. Reagan.. he was AMAZING. I explained my systems, he done a explorative laparoscopic procedure where he found my endometriosis, I explained I wanted more children and he went above and beyond to test and guide me through my journey, to include sending dye through my tubes. I fell pregnant shortly after and he has been my doctor since. I highly recommend! I am excited to complete my pregnancy with him and Aventa. Plenty of educated doctors & nurse practitioners, up to date systems and portals for lab results and appointments. Dr. Reagan is new and younger and he will tell you if he is comfortable with what his plans or thought is and will bring another ob in if necessary. Do not regret this decision! If I could give 0 stars, I would. I'm high risk for cervical cancer, and I am supposed to be screened every 6 months. Not only that, but I have been having serious issues with my cycle. My urologist and my primary care physician both told me I need to be seen by a gynecologist ASAP. I called and made an appointment in January for March 26.I explained my problems, but that was the "first available for a new patient." When my appointment day finally arrived, I called the front desk to check in, and the lady who answered the phone (who was extremely rude and sarcastic) told me that my appointment had been canceled. When I asked who cancelled it, she said I did using whatever portal they have. Of course, I did NOT cancel this appointment, as I'm having issues and need to be seen. She also told me that even if it hadn't been canceled, I was late to my appointment and wouldn't be seen anyway. Now, I work in a doctors' office, and I have worked in several, and the ones where I've worked--and most doctors' offices--give a 15 minute grace period. I was 6 minutes late. And the doctors I worked with would NEVER turn away a patient who was having problems or a patient who has had a history of cancer any other illness in which they specialized. The lady told me that I because I was a new patient I had to arrive 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork. It does not take me 15 minutes to fill out paperwork, and I had brought my medical records from my previous OBGYN so they could quickly and easily scan them into my chart. As I said, I work at a doctors' office, and I was 6 minutes late because I was late leaving work due to seeing a patient as a work-in because she has having PROBLEMS. Ironic, isn't it? *Update* After speaking to an administrator, it turns out whoever entered my email address for their patient portal entered it WRONG. They ended up sending an email to someone else who responded that they did not have an appointment and to cancel it. So I was not seen because of an error THEY made! read more

Dr. Gilchrist and the other doctors are phenomenal. My husband and I struggled with fertility for 4 years. Dr. Gilchrist did a laparoscopic surgery. I now have two beautiful daughters. They are so compassionate and go above and beyond to show empathy, compassion and professionalism in all aspects. I cannot recommend them enough. read more

January 3,2022 I contacted PathGroup because I had received a statement that belongs to another patient but with my address. I was told that it would be turned over to their Compliance Office and corrected. January 28th, I received a Past Due Statement and I called and was told by K. that she couldn't change the address unless the patient called and requested it. Again, my mailing address was being used, I'm receiving HIPPA protected information on M.W. and I have no reason to doubt she or someone else is receiving my information. I then called Adventa since they use PathGroup and would have provided my information to them. I called Jan.31st and spoke with T. she tried to put me off by saying it wasn't an Adventa issue even though I had shared what I was told by PathGroup. T. looked up M.W.'s information and mine. She said it was correct on her part. I asked if she would contact PathGroup and help get this corrected. I gave her my phone number to call me the results and she said she would. She did NOT! I called today February 4th. She said the lady at PathGroup who is always very good to work with had not replied to her. T. said she must be out sick or something. I asked to speak with the Office Manager for Adventa, I had to call back and ask to speak with L. I left a message at 9:09am stating my name,phone # and that I was concerned about a possible HIPPA violation. You've probably guessed...she never called back. This should/ could have been addressed January 3rd. Now I'm upset and considering filing a complaint with U.S. Department of Health and Human Service ( HIPPA) you know the ones they always have you sign all the documents on.
