Even worse, the AI art is mixed in with the actual art, clearly in an attempt to trick potential buyers into believing the con. Even when it's put in its own section they label it simply as "digital art" which is obviously misleading. Adding to this, a lot of the AI art is "authored" by one Thad Markham, who on further inspection is the owner of the gallery. This is absolutely heinous. AI art isn't just digital, it's an algorithmic Frankenstein of thousands of real artists. AI art is theft, and it's incredibly disappointing to see it in a gallery like this.

It seemed like the vendors had autonomy to sell what they wanted. The single employee would call a vendor if there was a question from a prospective customer. Some displays were behind glass, but the majority were open, counting on the carefulness of customers. We stopped by to see if we could pick up a memento from Morro Bay, but no luck. My wife did end up buying a blouse from a brand that she liked, so the trip wasn't a total loss. I did enjoy slowly wandering down the cramped aisles...a lot of hobbyists displaying their passions: a lot of toys, comic books, and hardcover novels.

Given that it is the size of a small department store, I kind of wish that it would be organized as such -- for example, dishes and housewares, clothes and accessories, music, etc. instead of all categories spread out from top to bottom! There's three different floors of treasure to be found. Main floor has literally everything. Seems to entice you with what they have to offer. Going up the stairs, there's different rooms that caters to different types. You could walk into a sections that has toys from all eras of life. Some collectibles while some seem a bit creepy. Just in my opinion. It wraps around so there's so much things to look at. The two top floors seem to have more apparel's. Loads of vintage clothing, footwear and accessories. Just going from one section to the other, you're coming into treasures. There were loads of clothing that looked amazing but just like any vintage shop. The sizing varies. It's a hit or miss when it comes to apparel. Regardless, this place had loads of amazing fun vintage items. Clothing, accessories, shows, toys, even things you didn't know existed, they had. Some of the real beauties are the frames and little animals that they make out of shells as well as the ships made out of shells. I got a lot of scallop shells to use to make craft items with, ranging color from pale white to a beautiful coral in natural colorations. This shop has plenty of beach necessities such as beach towels, bathing suits, logo t-shirts, flips, flops, and sunglasses. But do you live here? Then, Mildred, you're a tourist! Store staff was nice. Most items are on the north side of inexpensive, but Cayucos rents can't be cheap. So c'mon... just buy that little figurine made out of periwinkle shells and glued-on googly eyes... your grandma will just LOVE it.
