Wow. Just.....wow. These low lives flat out lie and take advantage of people in their vulnerable moments. They were paid and had SEVEN MONTHS to get the memorial done and installed. Instead we got one excuse after another and then, in writing, assurances that it would be done on the agreed date. Needless to say, not only didn't it happen...they never even started the stone! How the F**K do you promise that when you had NO intention on following thru? And then another company, Sprung Memorials, must have taken over some of their business and were told that Robin from Eternal said we never paid them. Meanwhile we have cashed checks as proof! Annette (from Sprung) accepted our proof and expedited our account. Our stone was completed and installed in ONE WEEK. when Eternal couldn't get it done in SEVEN MONTHS. If you are reading this Robin: Shame on you. I don't know how you can sleep at night. But the way you double talk and flat out lie, I'm sure you have no problem. This flower shop is one of many in the way to Pinelawn Cemetery. They provide real flowers as well artificial flowers for burial sites. They are very helpful, kind and funny. They know the stipulations and regulations for the cemetery. I was able to place both. Artificial flowers as well as real flowers at the site for my mom. It goes from bad to worse here. I'll backtrack a little. My mother passed, and we wanted her name engraved on my father's headstone. We went there, completed the paperwork, and made a down payment. Months went by, and we didn't hear anything--not a phone call or email. We finally decided to go down there to find out what was going on. We spoke to a guy named Jeff. He said he mailed us some papers to sign and then shoved them in my face. I asked, "What's this?" He replied that he mailed them out and never heard back from us. I told him, "You didn't hear back from me because I never got them. I didn't receive a call or email either." Eventually, we paid the rest of the amount. Now for the new developments. It's October, and we still haven't heard from them. We go down there again, and this time there's a nice lady who listens to our situation. She goes to get the paperwork and shows us that it was supposed to be done in May. She explains that they just hired more people to catch up. I didn't want to hear that. If something is delayed, they should contact the customer and explain what's going on. The lady assured us she would get it done, and she did. We should have spoken to her the first time instead of Jeff. Finally, my mother's name is on the grave, and everything is good. But then my brother gets a call saying we owe them the rest of the payment. He calls me to explain what's going on. I find the receipt and instant message it to him. Then they call him back to say they made a mistake. It was a comedy of errors. read more

I'd like to preface this by saying that I have made several attempts to pay this company for the work they performed. They also insist that I agreed to "any additional fees" that they decided to only disclose on the final invoice. Giving them the ability to add undisclosed costs to their customers. It's my opinion that this business is extremely misleading and dishonest. Unfortunately, I found this out the hard way. I hired Eternal Memorials in October of 2023 to build and place my parents headstones. Their quote came in lower than their competitors so we decided to go with them. To ensure accuracy and one would hope put together an accurate quote, they went to my parents' graves and copied an existing stone in our family plot for comparison. On the original quote, they listed the first 50 characters included but did not provide any overage charges that exceeded the 50 characters. Without having any direct experience I had no reason to question the fees listed on the original seeing as the quote listed $0.00 under the "Letters Overage" column. If there was to be an overage fee, this would be where you would put that amount. One would have no reason to think there would be such a difference from the original quote to the final invoice. In December, after leaving a $1,600 deposit, I received another invoice with the balance due. When compared to the original quote, they added 118 additional characters at $9.75 a piece totalling $1,150.50. they claim that I added characters later on (Hebrew names) which is simply not true. The only characters that were "added" was my parents Hebrew names which only account for 20 to 30 of those 118 additional characters. They say that we add them later because we had to confirm that the Hebrew was written correctly on the stones It's worth mentioning how they are pretty clever, when it comes to responding to these claims. I wrote them a lengthy email questioning the unauthorized additional charges and they tried to use conversations we had out of context as a way to avoid accountability.. They said I agreed by signing their contract to pay any additional fees. So if I understand that correctly that would mean they can essentially charge me more throughout the transaction, whether they are disclosed or not, which is preposterous. As far as supporting evidence, the invoices speak for themselves. It's obvious that by leaving the $1,150 overage fee off of the initial quote and knowing what that overage would be plus or minus 20-30 characters (depending on Hebrew names), it's very obvious this was done intentionally and for the sole purpose of misleading the customer. Np business should be allowed to take advantage of people who are grieving the loss of loved ones. read more

Whenever I've had an issue with my any grave in my family's plots, Jeffrey Cohen was extremely helpful in getting everything done, from a new footstone, to the cleaning of the monuments, to any problem afterwards. This is first time I have left a review for anything, and had to sign up on YELP to do this, but in this case I feel it is necessary. It was a long road to finally get a foot stone set for my mother. The result was much less than satisfying. The office staff that I communicated with for months were always informative and pleasant, and I have no compliant at all. However, the end result was not satisfying after I saw a picture of it after installation. I fully understand, that ETERNAL MEMORIALS sells the item ,helped design it , and oversees it being processed and eventually installed at the grave site. The actual construction is someone else's responsibility that they work with and assume had positive results. ULTIMATELY , ETERNAL MEMORIALS IS RESPONSIBLE FOR END PRODUCT I live in Miami, and I can only go by a picture of the end result and installation. As I requested, a picture was emailed to me, but the quality of the lettering was far from satisfaction. Poor clarity and many words in the picture sent to be could not even be read. This causes me great concern as it is obvious that ETERNAL MEMORIALS does not care of the quality of how it came out before the final installation. Could have been a poor picture, don't know, never got a reply to my complaints to them or another picture taken that may be better, so I can only assume that my concerns were accurate. Emails of this issue to JEFF COHEN meant nothing without reply. I wish JEFF would be more concerned about the final product than charging for every letter and concerned about the rapid payment to them. ****** I know I can't do anything now as payment had already been made months ago. It informs me that I am, required to erect a footstone, I believe it was 18 months after interment. When I start to inquire about the specifics of who they were and why they contacted me this woman got belligerent and nasty. This was my first time needing an engraver, to add names to an existing family headstone. St. Charles Cemetery gave me contact information for Eternal as well as a few other services. While there was a little confusion during our first phone call (I was calling to learn about the process, and was trying to understand how it all worked and what the prices were, they thought I was calling in an order), after we got that cleared up it was fine. They were responsive and communicative and professional throughout the process. They mentioned some work that we could do to improve the headstone, but gave me an honest assessment of whether it was really required, and there wasn't any upsell - that really impressed me.
