First, the couch had a stain that resembled a blood stain underneath the back cushion. Next, the dining table is an extension table. One end of the table makes a squeaking noise when leaning on it. When looking underneath the table, the rails underneath are not the same size as the other end of the table. Which is why it is squeaking/knocking. I contacted our salesperson who then told me the process of submitting a ticket for someone to come out and look at the pieces. A few weeks later, someone came out to remove the stain and then tried to fix the table with no such luck. He did try to put some sticky felt on the railings - which is not fixing the problem, just patching it for a little bit. Needless to say, the felt did not stay in place. We were told we can replace the table or receive our money back. We opted for replacing the table (supposed to be delivered this week). Now, last night I was sitting on the dining chair (which I haven't really sat on) I heard something drop on the floor. Here a screw came off of the bottom of the chair. How I know this? I had to turn over the chair and noticed where it came out of. I tried to replace and it was stripped. I then looked over the rest of the dining chairs and the majority of the screws were very loose or missing. The loose screws were stripped from whomever put the chairs together. Long story - I know. I had to put another ticket it for the chairs now. I love the sofa, chair and the dining table. However, paying a large amount of money (at least for our budget) it extremely disappointing and knowing I will not be buying anything from this facility again. When I reached out to several companies, I asked they typical questions about carpet cleaning, plus asked if they could move a couple of pieces of furniture. Nick said his company could. He showed up alone, and did not move any furniture. He struggled getting the equipment up and down the stairs and we were actually worried he was going to hurt himself. After he left and the carpet dried, I noticed several stains around the carpet and it didn't feel soft when it dried. Instead of leaving a bad review, I reached out and asked what I should do. I also mentioned that my carpet was stiff and crunchy, so I asked if there was something we could do for that. He offered to come back out Monday. I said, "sure. What time?" He replied, "130" I confirmed 1:30. When he didn't show up at 1:30, I reached out. Nick said he came to my house at 1:10 and knocked loudly and no one answered. Then he left. He assumed I forgot and didn't wait until our appointment time. No one was home because the agreed upon appointment time was 1:30. The next message was rude and Nick turned this on me and said, "you should have communicated that with me. I drove all the way out from Otsego. I was trying to be nice." Terrible service and no communication! It took 2 1/2 months to get carpet installed…read more We chose floor center due to the fact that they had the carpet in stock that we wanted. When we purchased our home we had to get the carpet replaced before we could move in to the upper level, we were told that since the carpet was in stock that they could install the same week. So we paid for the carpet and waited. And waited. And waited. For nearly 3 weeks we slept on couches in our living room. We paid for removal of the carpet but they left the staples in the floor and carpet around the radiators. When asked if that was standard procedure they said that sometimes if there are too many staples they leave them in but stated "you will barely even feel them through the carpet pad" For six thousand dollars i would expect no not feel any staples. The list goes on and on the issues we had. Their competition up the street said that absolutely the removal should have included pull the staples. Once they received our money there was no communication. Numerous times I asked for a follow up call which never happened. Between my wife and I, we ended up having to take 7 days off of work to get carpet installed. On multiple occasions the installers showed up without any knowledge of where the carpet was being installed (upstairs) so were unable to install due to the fact that they could not get the carpet up the stairs by themselves. Spend your money elsewhere, this place is a joke. If you value your time (and vacation hours) stay clear of the Floor Center.
