As a seller's agent, Denton and his team really go above and beyond to market your house and get it sold quick. I listed it higher than market and got a cash offer within 24 hours. *boom* Fast forward now, two years later, and I'm ready to buy again. Denton not only has a great team of realtors who are intelligent, friendly and on the ball, but he surrounds himself with great partners too-- one phone call to Denton and I was hooked up with a mortgage guy who is fantastic (shout out Eric, Brent and Stephanie at First Choice!), great home inspector (woot woot einspect!), and great perks like getting services from Utility Concierge. Ashley, our buyer's agent, who schlepped to Rockwall and Royce City to show us houses, was super sweet and helped us get the deal settled quickly. Maryanne has put up with my whining and answered all my questions super fast too. I feel lucky to get to do business with these great girls. Some people moan and groan about the house buying process. I am extremely pleased with how quickly my Realtor handled any questions or concerns that I had. It seemed like I could call day or night, week day or weekend, and always have my calls answered. The few times I did leave a message I was always called right back. Whenever I'd make a request, whether it is for offers, clarification, or advice, I felt like I was receiving the highest level of service from an experienced Realtor who actually cared about me and my family. I found their website always up to date and well laid out. In fact the entire reason I was able to buy my current house is because of their real time up to date MLS search. I saw the house go on the market on Monday morning and had my offer in by Monday afternoon. This house generated enormous interest among buyers and I would have lost it without their tools. While we were negotiating with the sellers of my house I has hoping to have them do about $500 of roof repairs to fix a few missing shingles. TLDR: The Tuttle Group utterly astounded us with an effortless, friendly, speedy, and (believe it…read moreor not) FUN refinance as self-employed individuals when no one else wanted to help. We decided to refinance our home to make some improvements and clear out some high-interest debt. We assumed (erroneously) that our credit union, which had held the current mortgage for 15 years plus our bank accounts and car notes, and a flawless history of payments with them, would have no trouble refinancing us, even though we are now self-employed, and making 3x what we made when they initially approved us. ***WRONG!!!*** After literally MONTHS of asking for documents, changing rates, long delays waiting for info from underwriting, and unanswered questions, we finally abandoned them in search of unconventional financing routes. We looked specifically for brokers in the area who specialize in self-employed people, and found a few. Some seemed a bit "green," some sounded less than friendly or just weren't interested in a smaller refi. But Tatiana with the Tuttle Group was super friendly when she reached out, and helped us arrange a video consultation with Andy Tuttle, the wizard of the Tuttle Group. During the 30 minutes that Andy spoke with us, it was like a crash course in financial planning. Everything he said made so much sense, and we learned more about mortgage refinancing than MONTHS of online research and questions we had asked to our credit union. Andy was up-front and told us that our best option might, indeed, be to go with the offer our credit union had finally extended, and that he might not be able to beat it. Still, he took the time to explain how refinancing in this "terrible Fed-rate" era could be financially advantageous to us, and told us to check once more with our credit union to see their final terms and if they were still locked in. I was astounded that he would take that kind of time to talk to a customer he likely wouldn't get any money from. We decided to proceed with the Tuttle Group, even if they couldn't offer us a better rate, simply because it was a PLEASURE dealing with them, they treated us like family, and everything Andy said made such good sense. Throughout the 2-ish weeks that ensued, their awesome mortgage gal Annie checked in with us regularly to make sure all our questions were answered. They seemingly required FAR less documentation than anyone else. But their stated tactic was to present a perfect, iron-clad package to underwriting up-front, so that there would be an instant approval and there wouldn't be a need for further questions or documentation. (Imagine that???) In what seemed like the blink of an eye, we were approved and ushered through closing. We simply could not be more impressed with the Tuttle Group. We've helped numerous friends and family through the mortgage process, and it's always like being put through a medieval torture device. This is the first time getting approved and closing was a PLEASURE. We NEVER had to contact them for questions, because they were always checking in to make sure all ours were answered. They were super friendly, familiar, informal-yet-professional, and we always felt like they had our backs and had everything under control. We actually looked forward to their calls and emails...imagine that??? Even though were were looking for a silly, small refinance and shouldn't have been worth their time, we felt like we had called up a dear family member who gave us the "hook up" our situation clearly didn't warrant. Astounded. Impressed. Thrilled. Grateful. These are some of the things we feel after our experience with the Tuttle Group. After I decided not to move forward, I continued to receive a high volume of follow-up emails and notifications that felt excessive given my stated decision. While persistence can be part of the role, the frequency and tone of the outreach did not align with my expectations of professional boundaries. Overall, the experience did not meet my needs in terms of communication, responsiveness, or client-centered service. I ultimately chose to work with another company that was more consistent, respectful of my time and decisions, and proactive in sharing new listings. I encourage others to clearly communicate their expectations upfront and assess whether the working style is a good fit for their needs. However, I do not recommend!
