But when I heard that he needs some filling I just wanted to take him to a pediatric dentist and get another opinion and if needed to be taken care off at this office as well. The staff was very nice and friendly from scheduling to helping me out filling out each form. Dr Kwon is amazing with children. I have three boys and this is not the first time I am taking one of my child to a dentist. But I have never met a dentist who is patient and also great in explaining each procedure to the children. She even showed a little YouTube clip to my 6 year to ease some fears he might have before sealing some of the molars. And of course she explained everything in detail to me and checked in if I have any questions. After everything was done. The decision to move my little ones to her was easy. Even though we love our family dentist. I feel Dr Kwon will take great care of my children's dental health and I value her professional opinion and appreciate the great care she provided to our son today. 5 stars all the way!

Cons: They dont let parents in the back for their children's appointment, unsure of the services provided. I communicated these concerns to the office manager, he was super great about listening to me and offering to make things right. I had to switch dentists though because I felt it in my gut this was the wrong practice for my family. I wanted to leave this review to let other parents know - this is their policy. Im sure they will accommodate if you press hard enough to be there with your child, but the fact this was a rule of the practice made me uncomfortable.

The customer service at the front is great - whether it's scheduling, insurance stuff or billing they are on it and so patient. All three of our kiddos have now seen Dr. Sandra and we all are so grateful for her and her team! First let me say a HUGE reason (there are many) I would recommend Plano Pediatric Dentistry is that I am able to stay with my child(ren) during their visit. Nothing is done behind closed doors and even if I chose to stay in the waiting area I can still see and hear my child while they are having x-rays, teeth cleaned etc. Should they need a procedure that may be a bit more involved or create a loud (crying) atmosphere for other kids there are private rooms that can be use, but I am able to stay with my child there too. Onto the kids... - Our oldest recently had sealants put on and was having a hard time with feeling claustrophobic. The hygienist had no problem stopping, talking with him & assuring him before proceeding, and at one point even Dr. Sandra came over to comfort him as well. -More recently our 1yr old took a fall and messed up her front tooth. As a mama I was a bit panicked and called first thing in the morning. I received such a gentle and caring response with a lot of reassurance that everything was going to be okay (exactly what I needed). I texted in photos of my daughter's tooth and was scheduled for a same-day emergency appointment. Her situation required x-rays and the team worked so gently and quickly to get the x-rays, it was incredible. Dr. Sandra took the time to explain all the possibilities and answered every one of my questions. They absolutely put this panicked mama at ease! I really am so thankful for Plano Pediatric Dentistry. As a kid who grew up terrified of the dentist I am so grateful my kids will grow up with an entirely different experience.

Some things that made this the best experience: I was able to schedule online which was convenient since I found them on a Sunday night. I scheduled a new patient appointment at 5pm so no work was missed. They are following all covid precautions and it felt safe. The kids waiting area kept my 3 year old busy and was pretty cool with their iPad section. The staff was all excellent, very professional and caring. Jackie did my sons X-rays and she was so friendly and caring. Dr Reddy is a great dentist and made my son feel very comfortable and not scared at all.
