I have had so many bad experiences with dentists in the past and I am so happy to report that my experience at Illume Dental was such a refreshing change to that pattern! My first appointment was during COVID and Dr.Chen and her staff took all the necessary precautions and even without being able to see their faces I could tell they were smiling and welcoming through their face masks. I let them know before I came in that I am a very nervous dental patient and they were very understanding and went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable by communicating everything in the process. This was the first time in about 10 years that I've gone to a cleaning and didn't need a follow up appointment to get cavities filled. I feel like most dentist will actively find problems so they can charge you for fillings and procedures you really don't need but Dr. Chen is not like that.
